A beautiful 2-bedroom house with high ceilings, polished floor boards and good size bedrooms. It's very homey and only 5 mins walk to the train station to catch a 15 mins ride to Melbourne CBD. Post office just around the corner so it's super easy to collect stuff when the postman missed you. Medical Centre also at the same block, just in case you need them. Rent is $865/month, bond is the same. The room is available now. Sorry no pets, no children, no smokers.
Dear all, Me and my dog Ursula are on the hunt for a flatmate to join us in our new house in heavenly West Footscray! Looking to escape the dynge and cramp of single-fronted or apartment living? Want a veggie garden, a big bright room, small spare room for visitor sleepovers/studio/office, gas central heating (!) and tonnes of other good homely conveniences? The house is in a really lovely pocket of WF, delightfully quiet but close enough to stuff to not feel isolated. 1km from West Footscray station, 16 minutes to Flinders Street (from W.F), 250m to Barkly village (with the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne apparently), 2km into Footscray (market, delicious pho, savers et al), 5km to Yarraville (farmers market, Cruickshank Park, The Sun, pubs etc) short drive to Williamstown and Altona beaches (awesome for dogs, just sayin). Not my furniture in the photos btw. The room (unfurnished) is; Rent: $996.50 PCM / $230 per week, plus utilities Bond: $996.50 bond Available from 30th July
I'm easy going and tidy to live with. I enjoy my own space but love to share chats, meals, movies and such. I'll be working full time in the city Monday to Friday. Love to cook an occasional shared meal and will help with household chores. I'll be in Melbourne in January 2018 for approx. 4 months before moving onto Adelaide - then off to Europe towards the end of 2018. Looking for a basic furnished room, specifically a bed and preference is to have my own ensuite / bathroom.
Easy to get along with and very helpful around the house. I enjoy socialising with my friends and am a huge music fanatic. I always bring the happy vibes to people around me and am accepting of everyone.
Close to Highpoint, within walking distance to tram line Great location for those working in the city or studying Comes with fully equipped (commercial quality) garage gym available for use Two stand alone toilets plus a shared bathroom with bath and shower Good sized bedrooms with inbuilt wardrobes Small backyard area with outdoor clothes line Currently unfurnished
Allo there, I'm a professional creative, Graphic Designer, who runs my own business and I love it. I have a studio in West Melbourne and currently live in West Footscray. I work hard which sometimes means on my home computer, and I like to relax when away from the desk. I love the arts, music, design, travel, food, cafes, bars, drawing, photography, movies, Netflix, fitness and spending time with mates. My fave food spots, gym, cinema etc are all close to my current home, so I would like to stay within a few suburbs of them. In a living space I enjoy sharing with housemates and hanging out, just as much as quiet time alone to relax after a busy day. I’m an avid bargain hunter at food markets and I love to bake. Pets are awesome and I'm considered a cat whisperer, let me at them! I’m clean and tidy and expect the same, though I’m not regimented about it. Gardening is a meditative passion and I own some furniture and white goods. Creative people make me happy. I love to share ideas, crafts, artworks to inspire each other. I have a fairly kooky sense of humour, but I assure you I’m a nice guy who is country bred. Hit me up for more and let’s do this!
full time working professional, friendly, can socialise and give private space as well. Looking for long term stay. Also willing to team up with other people to rent house or apartment.
Our house is located in a quiet street in West Footscray. It is 10 min walk from Tottenham station and 20-25 min to the CBD by train. The room is on the smaller side, but can easily fit a bed, desk and chest of drawers. The rent is $400 pcm and bond is $411, we split all the utility bills evenly. You would need to supply your own bedroom furniture; however the rest of the house is fully furnished. You will be living with 3 others. Tom and Marli are a couple, Tom works full time in retail and Marli is currently studying. There is also Finn who is 19 and currently studying at university. We also have a small dog who is very friendly and quiet, however we can't accept any other pets in the house. We have all been sharehousing for several years and are quiet, friendly and easy to get along with.

- Great townhouse in WeFo - Quite Street, with nice (but private) neighbors - Close to train stations, good cafes, Coles and other amenities My home is fully furnished (other than the spare room) and is simple but has pretty much everything anyone could need. Split system air conditioning, large 5 burner gas stove (if you love cooking!) couch that can double as a bed (great if you have a mate stay over) and an outdoor space that has a lot of potential but is severely neglected! There is a BBQ which is nice during the summer months! The room is a regular size and has a small built in wardrobe.

Hi, me (Yash) and Eishica are students at RMIT University who just landed in Melbourne. We're around 22-23 years old. We're looking for a nice little house/apartment in and around the city, in the suburbs. We've known each other for a couple of months and can vouch for each other being pretty fun people. Not exactly party people, but always up for a quick chat/drink. Looking forward to finding a home for ourselves.
Brand new property with modern finishes. Air conditioning in every room. You will have your own bathroom. Sharing with one other social, but respectful guy. I also have a friendly Labrador, who loves company. You will have your own downstairs room with walk in robe and downstairs bathroom to yourself, with the exception when we have dinner guests. The property is perfectly located to local amenities and public transport. 9 minutes walk to the train station and only 14 minutes on the train to the City (Southern Cross Station). There is a Coles/Aldi and Anytime Fitness less than 5 minutes walk away. You are only 5 minutes drive to Yarraville, Seddon and Footscray with limitless eating options.
About me: I'm neat, positive, kind and happy. I'm from Melbourne, I work as a high school English tutor and I love binge watching Netflix. I'll be out of the house going to the gym, playing volleyball and hanging out with friends (mainly at night). Happy to split all bills, pay first months rent and bond in advance I get groceries delivered each week and am happy to order for you/keep tabs on splitting the costs of communal items Flexible with moving dates - I can move in asap or wait until a room is ready. What I'm looking for: Share house with 1 (or 2) other housemates Separate kitchen to any other room Outdoor space Someone who's happy for me to have two small birds in my room, the living room and occasionally outside to get some vitamin D (So there cannot be an animal that will attack birds (cats or dogs etc)) Close to a train station (as I don't have a car) Close to a large supermarket Neat/tidy/clean housemates Quiet house during the day Room big enough to fit a desk, chest of drawers, double bed, bird cage and free standing wardrobe (if there is no built in robe) Washer, dryer and oven (or at least room for these things) What I'm not looking for: Strict chore scheduling Excessive partying/drinking LGBTIQA+ unfriendly people Pets that will attack birds Other indoor birds (risk of disease spread) People who refuse to pull their weight with chores Noisy people Drug taking Smoking Shower curtains :p
I'm a little reserved at first but generally over time I open up. I work different hours per day so some days I won't be home all day. I pay my bills on time and I'm a considerate person. If you have more questions feel free to ask.
