I'm a 24 year old professional working in data analytics full time. I'm currently looking for a place to move into in late January. I'm looking for a place in West Footscray, North Melbourne, Fitzroy, Brunswick, Yarraville, Richmond, etc. (I'm not that concerned with where, as long as closish to the city &access to public transport is around) I do contract remote book keeping on top of my full time job, so I have no problems with bills. I'm relatively quiet, although always willing to hang out with housemates. I also come with a Netflix subscription I'm willing to share. Most weekends I'm off exploring the city or trying something new (like a museum, a gallery or a cooking class).
I am currently a full time student at Latrobe university and might be graduate next year. I have a part time job at chemist warehouse. I am looking for a bright room to rent near public transport from March. The length of stay is at least 4-6 months to 2 years. I love singing, going to gym to get fit, books and sleep.
Hi! Living in Footscray at the moment and would love to stay around the area. 19, agreeable, mature and self-sufficient/tidy person. I tend to keep to myself but I do enjoy having people around. Psychology undergrad student so neurological facts at random intervals come as standard. I spend a lot of time going to gigs, studying, and eating cereal. I enjoy fanning out over art, obscure bands and tele shows. As a final selling point, I come with an extensive repertoire of elaborate salad recipes incl. :)

Hello new friends, I’m a 32 year old academic moving from Perth to Melbourne for a research job in early 2018. I’ll be working out in Ravenhall Prison, but I’d like to be based in north-ish Melbourne. Because I’ll be driving to work I’ll need an off-street car park. I’m looking to just share with one other person, maybe two (I’m past my share-house days) so I would be looking to share a rental with an existing renter/owner, or perhaps connect with someone who’s also in the process of looking for a rental. I come with two indoor-only cats, my 2ish year old ginger boys Billy and Bo. They are fantastic, quiet, clean cats and being indoor they never get into trouble (except for pushing objects off counters, obviously). I’ve heard it’s not as hard to find rentals that allow pets these days in Melbourne, so I hope that’s definitely true. I am a somewhat introverted person but not completely shy, and would like to have the company of a roommate but also the space to chill by myself when needed. I would prefer to live with people with the same outlook, having mutual respect for each other and our belongings and all those commonsense things. I am not crazy (in the murder sense), love 90s action movies, intelligent conversation, heavy music and consuming copious amounts of cheese. Definitely not a partyer, but not adverse to going out for fun-times/having the occasional shin dig at home. In fact, I probably need to do a little more of that, make some new Melbourne friends Ideally would get to know potentially roomies a little (over the net or however) before living together, feel free to contact me for questions or a chat.
- Generally tidy and love decorating my space - I work school hours and will likely be out of the house a fair amount with roller derby commitments - I have a male indoor cat named Merlin, he is pretty chill and he's very friendly but not great for people with allergies - I have my own furniture from my current apartment - I am looking for a queer* friendly share house
Hey guys :) I have a room for rent to a female, located in west Footscray in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse. Ideally we are looking for a long term housemate. The house is fully furnished, with dishwasher, washing machine etc. Close to highpoint shopping centre and a short 12 minute train ride into the CBD.
Hi there! My name is Amanda and I am an incoming study abroad student attending Victoria Uni from Feb 2018 - Nov 2018. I am currently in my third year here in California, US and have lived independently for three years. I am also currently a property manager in a home here with three other roommates so I am familiar with the process! I am looking for accommodations during my stay abroad. I am an avid yogi enthusiast and love being creative! Whether that be writing, photography, adventuring outdoors, you name it! I am incredibly organized and prefer to keep my spaces clean. I am quiet at times, but overall very kind and outgoing. Looking for roommates who are similar!
Hard working couple, very proactive, respectful and easy-going people!
Hi, I'm looking for a room around the Inner North or Inner West from around January. I'm flexible with the move in date, and ideally I am looking for somewhere for 1-2 months initially with the option to possibly extend. I'm hoping to pay around $150-$180 a week but could pay a little more for the right place. Recently I have returned from 2 years living in Japan and now I'm making the move to Melbourne. I will be finding work once I arrive there but I have a fair amount of savings too so there will be no issues with paying rent or bills on time. I have lived in numerous share houses over the years so I'm considerate to other people's need. I'm also a very clean person. I'm generally a quiet person but always happy to have a few drinks and a conversation or head out for some food or some drinks. I also love going to gigs. Feel free to send me a message if you have a place that you think suits!
Hi lovely people! I'm looking for somewhere fun to stay for an indeterminate amount of time. For the right place, that may be a long time, hopefully with the option of subletting the room when I run off to europe or wherever else. Otherwise, short term works well. Ideal would be month to month. I've lived in everything from a tent in a backyard, a car, a shed, and a place flush with fancy modern amenities like dishwashers. More important is who lives there! About me: I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
Hey future housemate/s, What makes me great to live with? I love life and want to live it to the fullest! I’m extroverted and love getting to know people over a glass of rosé. I love to cook, the spicier the better😁 I also like to have down time and enjoy my own company. I take pride in keeping my room and common areas clean. I have also traveled to a few place, just got back from a tour of Europe. I’m currently working full time and will be starting a bachelor in nursing next year at St Albans VU. I’m looking for a room with a view(only joking)🤣 In all seriousness I would love to be apart of a diverse household who know how to have some fun. I need to be close to public transport as I don’t have a car and work late shifts frequently. Anyway enough about me. 🥂here’s to finding the perfect fit☺️ *****I’m keen on signing a lease agreement*****
Hey there! My name is Emilie, I'm a 23 year old Education student at VU. I'm from Perth, which is where I am currently living for the summer until returning to Melbourne on February 15th for the school year. I'll be looking for a place from that time until I graduate mid-December - but I am flexible on dates. I'm very clean and would prefer to live with other people of a similar mindset. I'm not into mid-week parties but am down for a beer or two on the weekends. I love animals so if you have pets I would love that, and am very easy-going and flexible with my diet - if it's a vegetarian/pescatarian house I'm happy to only cook those foods, and if you're meat eaters then I'm down for a big beef BBQ! Also, I will have a car so I'll need somewhere to park it. I don't mind if it's on-street, as long as I've always got somewhere for it. I'm pretty into my fitness (gym, swimming, running, climbing, netball), I like to cook healthy, I sing and play guitar once in a blue moon, I am very studious, and as next year is my final year of teaching, a lot of my time will be spent on placement, so Monday-Friday 8-5 kinda deal. I pay my rent/bills early every month and I'm sure we'll get along great! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you think I'd be a good fit for your home. Emilie
13 min walk to the West Footscray train stop. If walking is not your cup of tea take the bus right at the front door. The bus at the apartment front bring you to Footscray central (where you can go for your weekly grocery shopping) as well the approximately journey take around 15min and they are two buses run pretty frequently. 13min train ride gets you to Southern Cross Station/CBD without going through the loop. I have been hosting international students for 2 years in the past It is a big room come with study desk/table lamp/bed-side drawer/sizeable BIR
Hi! I’m Kat, currently studying a Masters at the University of Melbourne and working part-time. I’m pretty quiet and respectful of personal space and boundaries, but also down for low-key hangs like watching movies together and drinking tea in the same room. I’ve been living in Footscray for over two years now so I’m keen to stay in the west side, and would love to either join an existing share house or start a lease.
Hey Guys so we have a super funky Californian Bungalow up for rent. The room is fully furnished and has an out look onto the garden. It's a pretty light space with heating and cooling. Seprate from the house but right next to a toilet. Has a tv for dvds and such and wifi obviously accessable. We love a party and have chickens and the most friendly cats ever.

I'm a Masters Student of Comms and Media. A lefty feminist who likes swimming in the ocean, Netflix and casual drinks. A swim teacher on weekends. Don't reckon you'll ever have a problem getting along with me.
Hey guys, I'm an Architect from the States, moved here last year and work full time in the Fitzroy. I'm very easy going, considerate, fair, clean and neat but not in a freakish way. I love animals and am not allergic to anything, I also speak Spanish if you're latin@. Always down for a chat, feed, movie or gin tonic... I'm not a smoker but don't mind if you are. I would prefer a place within walking distance from a train station and where there are not 3 people sharing the same bathroom. I am applying for permanent residency, so the 3 month minimum is mostly because I don't want to be tied down in a long lease agreement since I eventually would like to get my own place so my family can visit me. Thanks for reading!
Our cute abode is centrally located near West Footscray Barkly Village which is swarming with a diverse range of food options, a very awesome retro Vintage inspired store, and 10 minutes walk from the local train station. It's also a 20-25 minute walk away from the neighbouring suburb of Seddon and the hub of Footscray where you will find a very happening newly established night life, and great selection of cafes by day. We are very passionate about our area, and love it! The room itself is very generously sized with wall to ceiling wardrobes, ceiling fan and hydronic heating. You would easily fit a king size bed in. The room is completely unfurnished. Our house is already fully furnished in our very eclectic retro inspired style, so no new furniture for common areas is required. A small kitchen is provided with a dishwasher, and we have a full laundry also provided near our shared bathroom. A small yard is provided at the rear. Internet can be provided additional to the rent! Water and Electricity bills are also additional to the rent. We provide netflix in our living area at no charge but, if you'd like to have this on a personal device as well it would be a shared cost.
