I'm a full time Veterinary Medicine student who spends too much time with their head in a textbook. I'm looking for a sharehouse with chill vibes which I can retreat to at the end of the day. I come with my best mate Charlie, a 10 year old Spoodle X hot water bottle who is a heckin' good boy. He's a super friendly pup, is quiet and doesn't shed hair.

Hi! I'm from Singapore and am studying a degree in Advertising at RMIT city campus.🙂 Generally i consider myself to be a tidy and quiet person during uni days and will prolly be camping in my room doing uni work or just on netflix most times so you can expect me to be respectful of your privacy. I smoke occasionally from time to time and also like to party every now and then. I love a mad hang/drinks session with mates and absolutely love pets. Ideally i would like to find a FURNISHED room and a place where i can call home and can hang out in the lounge room with cool house mates watching netflix etc or we can cook food for each other all the time and get drunk together. (p.s i've been told i can cook some nice stuff!) i love music of all sorts really however i am particularly a fan of rock, alternative and yea so on.. you get the gist of it. My favourite band will always be Blink-182! (i promise i won't blast my music or any blink out loud all the time so you don't get too sick of me :P) Currently living in west footscray and would like to move out soon to somewhere closer ish to uni or the eastern surburbs. However i will not be in Melbourne from 19 June - 17 July as I will be back home in Singapore, therefore im looking to move out either before Mid june or after my birthday which is 15th of July. Hope to hear from you future housemates!
I am a 25 year old male professional working in the CBD, looking for good flatmates and a furnished home. I enjoy jogging, nature, music (progressive / trance), animals (especially dogs) and have an interest in businesses / entrepreneurial ideas. Fairly clean but not ocd either. Respectful of other people's space but up for hanging out and having a chat sometimes. Looking for a flatshare for 3 to 12 months at this stage and preferably close to a train station. Keen to move out to be closer to work and be more independent.
Hi, my name is Shelby and I'm 21 years old. I'm a very relaxed and easy going person. I'm currently working out at the airport and I do work shift work. I'm a very neat and tidy person and always clean up after myself. I'm very outgoing and enjoy the occasional drink or two on the weekend, but am also just as happy staying in and watching Netflix. I play basketball twice a week and enjoy being active.
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. I would like a safe place to stay for 10 months. I plan to move interstate in March/April 2018 to study. But I promise to pay my bills and rent until then! I am going through naturalization. Based in the inner Western suburbs, but would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Glen Iris, Malvern, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington It needs to be close to public transport BUT with a parking spot, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go PS: I share a lovely 3 level townhouse in West Footscray. My housemate is a passive-aggressive alcoholic man who is getting divorced. We have just been given 3 months to vacate. I am looking to move out/in in mid-June, July or August. If you are considering asking me to share a house with you, I think we would get along if you are: - not an alcoholic. I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working/not a student) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I am not obliged to be your psych/best friend) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting or cursing at me; please approach me in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. If I were to share a house, the room must be: - LARGE (at least 3.5m by 3.5m), must fit double bed and desk with room to move - have large BIR - have an ensuite bathroom I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas/water/electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
Most important thing for me when sharing a house is being respectful of shared spaces. Cleaning after you eat, no dirty pans in the sink, and cleaning the bathroom regularly. After that living with people should be easy. I am professional working full time and have recently been offered a job in Melbourne. I'm from the UK and have just moved to Aus 9 months ago to adelaide with my wife. She will be staying in adelaide until we she can leave her job and we can find a place together. I do have to work some night shifts so I would be grateful for some quiet during the day when I'm on a run of nights. I have loads of interests- scuba diving, movies, comedy, travelling, house music (don't worry I won't be playing this), running, F45, astronomy etc... plenty to talk about. I am sociable, fun and enjoy getting to know people. I am clean but not OCD. I would treat the flat/house like it was my own and expect the same from other flat mates. Give me a call or text if this matches with what your looking for Jin
Located just few minutes away from Barkly street, our flat is just 12kms away from city and can be accessed by train and bus. The closet train station is west Footscray (4mins) and nearest bus stop is on Barkly street. Supermarket is within 2mins walking distance. Room is unfurnished and you can share everything in the house with us. All the utilities (Electricity, Water, Gas, Internet) bills are included in the rent.
My name is Hana, I'm a kiwi nurse at Footscray hospital, looking for a chilled out flat where people hang out a bit and do semi-regular meals together- a real home :) Mini life story: I worked around a bunch of pubs in WA for a couple of years before starting uni in Frankston 4 years ago and now that I've got some spare time I'm trying to grow some hobbies/ an actual life! I like cooking big meals and sharing new food ideas, netflix, a bit of salsa dancing and yoga, and trivia as often as I can go. I've been living in sharehouses for about 6 years now and am well and truly house trained. Let me know if I sound like a good fit for your flat, happy to get coffee or a beer sometime to meet 🙂
the house is right near three bus routes and not too far from the tottenham train station. there are a few great cafes nearby, with a short walk to coles and aldi in one direction and sims in the other direction. the house is fully furnished and there is a small yard with a lemon tree. there is a spacious kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and air con/heater in the lounge room.
The room: Medium sized, light filled room with a very good quality fold down futon (double bed size). Plenty of storage space to unpack and unwind. Reverse cycle air con for those really cold nights although the bedding will suffice (brand new sheets and blanket/doona/quilt/duvet). The house: You would be sharing the two-bedroom house with one 32 year old bloke that keeps pretty busy with work and other hobbies. When I'm home I'm usually cooking, chilling with netflix or hanging out in the backyard with a fire or attempting to be a gardener. The house is really beautiful, open plan, quirky, spacious and just lovely. It's fully furnished. Oh and you will have your own spa style shower and toilet in the laundry room plus access to the living room and kitchen. The kitchen is also shared by a 27 year old medical student who lives in the bungalow out the back. She is very nice and we are both very clean and tidy and expect you to be the same and respect all the furnishings and kitchen equipment etc. The rent of $220 per week includes bills. The area: You will have great public transport options (bus at your doorstep, 25 minutes to the city and a 5 minute walk away is Tottenham train station which is 15 minutes to the city). You've also got Coles, Aldi, banks, post office, restaurants/cafe across the road/around the corner. Friendly neighbours and well lit streets if you arrive home late at night.
I'm share house house trained. I'm pretty clean, neat and organised. but I have my off days same as anyone else. (current house was described as "immaculate" at our last inspection) I work full time during the week and the occasional weekends. I'm Generally fairly busy with work and being social so you won't find me camped out on the couch too often. Solidly average trivia player, coming from a house with a weekly team. Would be keen to start another.
I'm pretty easy to live with, i work full-time tuesday to saturday and i have plans most times during the week with friends. I have previously lived out of home for two years from when i was 19-21 and only recently moved back with my family and looking to move out again. I'm a clean and tidy person and have no issue in cleaning rosters and things like that. I don't take up much food in the fridge because as i said i eat out a lot. I have an easy going personality and am pretty chill with anything. I enjoy listening to music, going to concerts and reading books.
*Also keen to team-up with people to look for a place in the western suburbs too. Send me a message if you're in the same boat and think we'd get along!* Hello future housemates, anyone got a room for me? Looking for a fun / creative / environmentally-conscious / awesome sharehouse on the west side of the city (so Footscray, Yarraville and neighbouring suburbs). WHO AM I? Greetings, I’m Evie (22)! I’m a hopeless Taswegian at heart, but have got quite used to this trendy Melbourne lifestyle over the last few years living in Brunswick. I’m studying post-grad veterinary in Werribee (big thumbs up for a place with animals!) so am pretty busy during the week. On the weekends I love getting outdoors – be it climbing, kayaking, hiking or just sitting somewhere painting or reading. I work part time at a climbing gym and occasionally take a dog for a walk (and for some reason they pay me too!). I dabble in all kinds of other random hobbies with varying competency. I’m an optimistic person and the general consensus is that I am quite nice. WHO ARE YOU? I love living with people, not merely coexisting. To me, that means laughs, adventures, shared meals and friendship. I care about the environment and would love to live with other people that do too (I’m 99% vego btw). My ideal place would be in the west, a house with a backyard, $100-200 a week, non-smoking, 3-6 people, and some sunshine. MOVE-IN As soon as possible!!
I'm an pretty neat, quiet Australian guy studying engineering on-line. I have a degree in applied science (chem), and experience as an electronics tech, and with computers, and can be a bit handy around the house. I enjoy a glass of wine, a chat, video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I'm fine with pets. Quitting smoking, smoking outside in the mean time. - Sam
I'm a 26 year old veterinarian from Manchester in the north of England & my other half is Darren, a 32 year old civil engineer from Glasgow in Scotland. We arrived in Australia in March 2017, and we're planning to work/travel for 12 months before returning back home. Our only aims are to see as much of this vast country as possible, catch some sunshine and eat some great food. We have both secured employment for 3-6 months in Melbourne starting in June 2017 - Darren in the CBD, and myself out in Delahey. We will both be working full time during the week, and also some weekends. In our spare time we love cooking, eating, seeing live music, the occasional G&T/glass of wine, & we're planning to explore Melbourne and its surrounds as much as we can whilst we're there as well. I am fastidious (probably too much so - Darren can vouch!) - about being clean and tidy so you can rest assured we will take extremely good care of any property we live in. We are non-smokers and do not have a car, although I will have a bicycle in Melbourne. If you're looking for a tidy, considerate couple who are equally happy to share space and hang out, but also like our personal space and downtime, please drop us a message.
