Hi there! We are Emma and John, young(ish) Scottish couple looking for a place to live for approximately 4 or 5 months (at least). The only reason we won't commit to longer than that at the moment is down to the fact that sponsorship might take a while and we might have to go off and do regional work at the end of July/start of August. We are here on a WHV, but aiming for permanent residency. John is a sound technician and I am currently looking for work, I have a human rights degree and experience in events. Ideally I'll be working in the not for profit sector. John usually works long days (sometimes 14 hours +) and occasionally is working away on a big on tours for about 3 weeks at a time! We are looking for either a studio, 1 bed, granny flat or flat/house share - we really aren't too fussy! Trying to save where we can so $350 all in would be max :) We are clean and neat, non-smokers and aren't big party animals. So whilst we are looking for somewhere fun and relaxed, we'd prefer not to live in a party house. We would also prefer something either furnished or part furnished, we do have a some savings so paying for some things won't be an issue, we'd just prefer to save where we can... (visas ain't cheap). Easy access to the city is a must, the ability to decipher a Scottish accent is a bonus! :) Let us know if you need any more info. Thanks

Hey there, I am an engineer, looking for a place to stay and search job, I am an easy going person interested in making friends, however I respect others privacy. Looking forward to stay with awesome flatmates.
A pool and outdoor BBQ area - what more is there to say!? Just a short walk away from the train station, and a few minute walk to the super market which is super convenient. Also got some awesome cafes (Brother Nancy and Dumbo) close by, and the Barkley St shops a short walk away (Harley & Rose, Phat Chicks, etc.) I'm planning on furnishing the place, but can be flexible if you have some furniture that you need to put somewhere! The owner is also fine with pets. NOTE: Room 1 = Master Bed, and Room 2 = Bedroom 3 on the floor plan
I'm looking to move from Adelaide to Melbourne for a little bit of an adventure! I'm a full time health professional, but definitely looking for that work-life balance. I want to use this opportunity to gain personal growth and become more independent. I'm a clean and tidy person and do not like mess! I'm friendly and easygoing and enjoy being social and going out for a bite or a drink so having housemates to join in will be a bonus. Also, I will be looking to lease for about 4 months to start with and then go from there.
Hello everyone, There are two of us ladies in our early twenties looking for a place to live for approximately 12 months. Although I am already a chef by trade I am currently studying Certificate IV in Pastry. Having already studied food health I understand the importance of a clean and tidy environment. In my spare time when I’m not studying I like to cook and read a good novel. Caitlin Ayres Female, 20 years old. I am an easy-going third year law university student originally from Southwest Victoria looking for people to share a house with. I am always up for having a chat or a bit of banter. I am a 24 year old recent grad moving to Melbourne for a few months from San Francisco. I currently work as a barista and will be searching for a job when I arrive. Outside of work I enjoy spending my time exploring local restaurants, browsing thrift shops, and dancing it up at live music events. Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 29, single, born & raised in Melbourne & Indian background ) and I am working full time hours in hospitality and studying full time in hospitality as well. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. With classes and work, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.

Wade and I are both working in the Australian Defence Force. Laura has been living in Perth for the last few years and Wade has been in Sydney. We are both excited for a change in cities and to explore Melbourne together. Because of our roles in the ADF, we are both very active, fit and outgoing young people. Wade enjoys AFL and will be looking at joining a local team once we settle in. Laura is into swimming and surfing so is looking forward to being a short distance from the Great Ocean Road. We are both extremely tidy and respectful people. Being in the ADF we are both used to living in close proximity with others and thrive off new adventures.
I'm looking for cheap accommodation near victoria university footscray nicholson campus. I have 2 years experience living in share houses with all different kinds of people. I clean up after myself and do my share of chores.
I'm a super easy lass. Play soccer and try to play rugby, so a lot of my time is taken up with training and games. I work as dispatch for a courier company, and plan to study community services mid year. I'm Super respectful of space, and noise! And I will always smell nice. Laugh a lot, and just very aware of of the general feel in the air (eg. I won't keep talking shiz if you're tired etc...) I try and be out and about as much as possible, love Melbourne to bits, and want to do as many things as I can, always.
Petey: young, male, ridiculous. Looking for a place to live in the West to live and thrive, in for the long haul. Currently staying with friends in Emerald, but very keen to move back to the inner West area. Why would anyone want to live with me? I strive to be reliable in all aspects of my life; currently employed full time in an ongoing role at Melbourne Uni; I pay bills when they are due; and I like to go on alpine adventures as many weekends as possible so I won't be a home-body mooching around the place. Happy to share chores, even on a rostered basis, since I'm not perfect and I am OK with reminders and structure. I like to keep things clean and do not like laziness in myself, so maintaining a tidy house keeps me happy too. Sharing expenses is totally cool with me, since that's why we sharehouse, right? No pets at the moment, but only because I wouldn't be around to care for them for them enough. But more than pet friendly, I am the kind of person who takes off at parties to play with the cat or dog. Day to day I try to keep active but my mind is great at making excuses to not go to the gym. Instead I keep fit in other ways that I find more fun/interesting, like climbing, hiking, mountaineering, and trail running. Have a little car, and I love the independence it gives me, but feel guilt over the carbon footprint. One thing I would really love about moving back to the inner West would be the opportunity to ride or run to work each day, so having somewhere to keep my bike safe would be a plus. Not a big drinker at the moment, but I feel like I have done my time in the past. However it absolutely does not bother me if other people enjoy it; I get it, beer and wine are delicious. It is more about personal choice, and to be honest now that I'm getting older it just puts me to sleep. I volunteer for two emergency response organisations as well, and my hobbies keep me engaged with life and out of the house a lot. With all that I have going on, I am pretty busy, and sometimes I need to remind myself that it is OK to have a weekend off in front of the TV with a good film or two. Um, what else? Thanks for reading if you made it this far. Hopefully I sound like the kind of person you could live with!
I'm 24 years old studying business at Victoria University at Footscray Park. I was born and raised in Canada and have been in Melbourne for almost 3 years now. I Love to listen to music and go for a drive. Enjoy cooking but also like to try different restaurants.
I work full-time at a local Council in the west and want to live a little closer to work. I currently live with my best friend and her family in Bacchus Marsh and have loved the experience but want to be a little closer to a social life. I play soccer twice a week and have started studying again. I like pets but don't have any yet (I would like to get a cat one day!) and enjoy hanging out with my housemates for the odd drink on occasion. I'm not a big partier but enjoy heading out to the local bars/pubs with friends. I'm flexible, neat and easy to live with.
I'm friendly and easy going. Haven't moved out of home before so want to take up the challenge and also find a place closer to where I work. I currently work full-time as a banker in the city. During my spare time I like to watch a bit of TV, go to the gym or hang out with friends. Wouldn't mind a chat with house mates or a few bevs towards the weekend. You may also find me gone for 1-2 days spending time with the guy I'm seeing. My preferences: - a smoke-free home - clean and tidy place as I have a bit of OCD - own bedroom with own ensuite or OK to share bathroom - bedroom must be unfurnished and can fit a double bed in it - room with aircon, it's a nightmare living in the current town house with no aircon upstairs! - long-term stay
Hi! We are two Canadians who were sick of living in our igloos and wanted a bit of sun! Gavin works in construction fulltime and I work in both the tech world and am currently doing a bit of sidekicker while I'm in the last stages of interviewing. We have been together since highschool but aren't really an awkward lovey-dovey couple to be around. I have 2 sisters so Gavin isn't weird around a bunch of girls (all of my girlfriends always ask Gavin for advice when it comes to boyfriends). Don't get me wrong, he loves his guy time as he played hockey for 18 years back home (typical Canadians eh!). He also is a master BBQ'er. As for me! I love a good glass of wine. I have a full blown abusive love-hate relationship with working out and love to get creative in the kitchen. We totally get the 9-5 life (lived and breathed it in Vancouver) so no worries about late nights on weekdays. However, we do love to loosen up on the weekends, although we are really enjoying not having hangover Sundays lately. I guess what I am saying is we are fairly balanced. As we are new to Melbourne, we are definitely looking for some good flatmates and hopefully friends while we try and figure out what our next move is.
I'm Simon, 28yo french cook on his 2nd WHV Visa, I just came back from 2 months in Tasmania, looking for a cheap sharehouse/flat preferably not in the city center cos I have a car to park. I want to move asap to start looking for work as well, my plan is to stay 2months in Melbourne. About me : easy going, tidy, discreet, love to cook, going out, travelling, visiting, doing sports.
