The available room is large and bright. The large windows look out onto a leafy and private area of the front garden. The house is a cute, and quirky, but homely cottage not far from the North Hobart strip on Elizabeth Street. There is a lovely light filled living area and kitchen space at the back of the house with large windows and nice views over the gardens, streets, and parts of the river. There is a laundry and extra toilet on the other side of the back deck area. It is within easy walking distance to town and Salamanca.
Hey, my name is Corrine. I moved to Hobart from Perth on 17th Nov and I’m living in the place for short term which is 4 weeks. I’m looking for a good place for long term. Hope to live with cool and friendly people. I’m doing marketing and advertising job in a company. Also, I’m an artist, filmmaker and photographer working for myself. I have a car, so it would be wonderful if the place had a car parking spot with cover. And need the place is furnished. I prefer to live with 1 pp. It’s better not the landlord. :) I am also glad to know new friends and have our own place to live together. Hope we can have good experience together on this beautiful island.
Hey! I'm a freelance illustrator, I recently quit my full time advertising job in Sydney so I can move to Hobart to study science at UTAS in Feb 2018. I'm looking for others to team up with and rent our own place, preferably with a spare bedroom so visiting friends can come and stay. I'm pretty laid back, I like to have the occasional drink and would love a roommate who will watch crappy TV/listen to music with me while drinking cheap wine. I work from home and will obviously be studying so I'll be pretty quiet weeknights and will want to enjoy my weekends. I also have a little white cat named Neil who will bring us cockroaches as gifts!
My current house mate will be moving interstate in January so I'm looking to find someone new that would like to move in. The house is located on a quiet street in West Hobart close to the shops in North Hobart. The room is unfurnished but the rest of the house is sorted. It's quite a large room that can easily fit a queen size bed, bedside table and a desk. The kitchen is modern and comes equipped with a gas stove and a dishwasher. There's a neat little courtyard out the back which doesn't require much maintenance except for some weeding before inspections. Unfortunately theres no off street parking but there's always plenty of space on the street. I like to split the bills equally and these aren't included in rent. NBN internet is available but also isn't included.
I'm a student at UTAS, studying Education and I work as a beauty therapist in the city. I love to cook and I'm always up for hanging out. I'm clean, neat and will always clean up after myself. I enjoy movies, music, having a laugh and the occasional drink. I'm very non-judgemental and happy to talk.
We have just moved into a beautiful home that is only a few minutes walk from the North Hobart restaurant strip. It's lovely and light and spacious, has a beautiful front porch and big deck out the back. While the design of the property means that there is the opportunity to have some space to yourself, we also hope to create a home environment where we share the space and enjoy one another's company. Ultimately we want our home to be a place that everyone enjoys coming back to and spending time in. The room that is available is an attic style room, which can fit a queen bed and is lovely and bright. Unfortunately we can't have pets. The photos of this property have been taken from the real estate listing, and therefore the property is now furnished differently.
26 yrs old From China Love music and travel n great food. studying and Professional year course work part-time References are available Would love to share my life experiences with people
I've just completed the Master of Architecture study and am shifting from Launceston to Hobart due to a 6 week internship. I'm friendly and easy to get along with. I'm also a responsible and neat person who cares about and cleanliness and would clean up after myself. At my free time, I simply enjoy snuggling at home, watching videos, doing some art crafts or cook up a good meal.
Hi there. I and my wife are new to Hobart and looking for accommodation. A brief information about us:I am 30 y/o first year Phd student in economics. My wife 25 y/o student in master of electrical engineering. We are tidy and respectful for privacy. Our intense study schedule leaves very little time to spend at home but we like to spend this little time with happiness.
If you are looking for a house mate who gets intimate with alcohol, can navigate a kitchen, enjoys music and knows their way around a cheese board... Then look no further! ✋🏼 Well hello there 👋🏼 I’m 29 and I recently moved from the Whitsundays, Queensland to Hobart, Tasmania. I work full time running a bar in Liverpool Street and I am very passionate about the work I do. I’m tidy, considerate and friendly. I enjoy a great cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of vino or a cold froth in the evening. I’m an easy going being who enjoys socialising with friends and splashing some cash on a night out with great company. If you think I’m the house mate you have been looking for feel free to contact me anytime.
Hi, i'm Nick, 33 year old art gallery director in Hobart. I am looking for someone (1-2) to team up with and rent a share house that will be used for both a place of living and a make shift art studio space. The idea will see one of the rooms/spaces utilized as a practical art space, this could be an outside shed, or one of the rooms in the house. (pending site) For more details, feel free to message me and I will make things more clearer! Thanks
We are a fun and easy going couple! We love travelling, enjoy life and the outdoors! Nature is the reason we are coming to Tasmania! 28 years old, both with a background in architecture. Now on a long term adventure to enjoy life before settling somewhere! We like board games and nice chatting about very diverse topics. Hope to see you soon!
I have a spacious room available from 5 February for a single person in my home at West Hobart (city edge living) . It's a lovely heritage home with large rooms and modern facilities. Nice and quiet but within a short stroll of the city. Rent includes unlimited NBN.
I am 22, almost 23. I've rented for over 4 years and have references. I have a lovely 3 year old kelpie-cross who I enjoy taking to the beach and on walks basically every day. I'd never part with him, so I'm looking for a place with a secure backyard and with people who love animals too. I'm easy to get along with and I respect other people's personal space, time and property. I don't mind a cold drink on a night off, but I am not really into drinking much. I looove to cook up a storm for the whole crew. I also enjoy kayaking, fishing, hiking and a good movie or tv-show. I take great pride in my home, keeping it beautiful and clean. If you think we are a good match please do send me a text or message on here. Cheers. :)
Have been traveling the past 9 years jumping between USA, Canada and Japan. Ready to enjoy the semi-quiet life in Tassie. Love being outside and exploring, good food and drinks.
Hi I'm Patrick I am looking to move closer to the city preferably on the western shore so I can be closer to work and Tafe. I am currently studying graphic design and work evenings at Officeworks, so I tend to be busy. I also play underwater rugby when time permits on Tuesday and Sunday evenings. Needless to say I tend to be home late most nights and out the door early 3 days a week. I enjoy to both chill and relax at home or go out with friends and have fun with a rare drink or two. I have lived in share houses before when living in Melbourne and will be a respectful clean and quiet member of the household. meaning I wont leave a mess and wont have parties and loud music at all hours of the day. If I sound like someone you would like to meet to get to know if I am right for your household please contact me here and we can see where things go.
Hi my name is Olivia, I am currently a student but will be working full time next year. I like to think I am down to earth, conscientious/ tidy, and funny (even though my mum hates my jokes). In my spare time I enjoy street photography, going to local events, art, outdoor activities, learning Spanish. I am also passionate about sustainability (am vegan) and other social justice issues. I'll be working pretty solid hours next year and do enjoy my own time, but would be down for hanging out with housemates and having interesting conversations. I'm hoping to find some similar-minded housemates (students or working) in a place that's within walking distance to the city.
I am friendly, respectful and clean :) Love to get out and about, be a bit silly and have a yarn. Positivity 😋 New to Hobart , moving down from Brisbane for a new gig as a Clinic Manager in the CBD. Keen to explore everything that Tassie has to offer :)
I will be relocating to Hobart for my masters course at UTAS, I will be looking for part time work while studying my master of science. I enjoy bush walking, bike riding, film photography (i develop my own black and white photographs) reading and cooking. I also enjoy mycology (fungi) and enjoy foraging and the identification of different specimens. Prior to my masters, i lived and worked in Sydney as a Senior Scientific Laboratory Technician in a private school. I'm an independent person, clean and reliable who enjoys alone time who is also up for a chat and potentially cooking and sharing a meal together. I also may or may not have a cat (Female, litter trained, desexed, 10 years old), who may be coming with me.
Hey, me and another young guy looking for a third or fourth person to move into a sharehouse with. We're friendly, clean and have a good sense of humor. I'm a student and Josef is working after uni. I'd like someone who's young, clean and moderately organized, but I don't have any preferences beyond that. I've had a lot of fun in my current house so hopefully we can have some good times together in this one. The plan is probably to go for a group buy on the house sometime around mid-december, so we'll have to start looking and apply as a group fairly soon. *Budget is $170 each by the way.
