Walking distance to CBD, and North Hobart restaurant strip. Offset from the main road, off-street parks and parking on street is unmetered. Easy maintenance home (i.e., no lawn, dish washer) Modern kitchen and bathroom, lounge and kitchen is pretty big My girlfriend (23 y/o) and I (26 y/o) have landed a new rental starting on the 3rd of Feb. We have a fair bit of furniture (enough to deck out the lounge and kitchen) so all you would need is to furnish your room. The house is a nifty upstairs 2 bedroom, one bathroom, and separate toilet. Downstairs: kitchen, lounge, extra toilet... harry potter closet for guests I suppose. Small garden bbq area out the back. We have a cat (she's pretty great). Oh and a massive goldfish (he's pretty fat).
Chilled guy that enjoys relaxing on weekends and socialising with friends. Tidy person to live with. Starting new job in Moonah as a electrician and new to the area. Looking to make friends, have a few beers and enjoy what Tasmania has to offer.
My partner and I are migrating from Syd to Hobart. I will be studying at the College of the arts, and she is working full time. We like cooking and reading and cycling and gardening and queer theory and other things. Super clean and considerate, keen to meet likeminded people and enjoy the mountains!!
My name is Pip and I am moving to Hobart for work (I work in the film industry) in early February through til June (may end up being longer). I'm quiet and considerate and always clean up after myself! I love Hobart and am looking forward to coming back and living somewhere great!
From Sydney been here about 7 years. I am quite a busy person, usually out doing things during the day, If home fairly quiet but enjoy communal hang outs and lounge room chils. In my spare time enjoy doing art, and going out.
Hi there! I am a pretty relaxed, clean and fun housemate. My friend Scott and myself are looking for 1-2 people to join us in looking for a share-house in the Hobart area. I am a psychology graduate from UTAS, and am currently working two part-time jobs. I enjoy being active, playing board games with friends and have recently got into some social sports as well. Always keen to do something social, and include housemates, but also very respectful of peoples personal space.
I am super clean and respectful. I manage a backpackers in the city so my job is constant entertainment. I love socializing, travelling, outdoors and general good times. My bear, Bert the American Akita, is the best dude you'll ever meet. He's super chill and super fluffy, impossible not to like. My life is work, Bert, music and good vibes. If you like bears, respectful housemates and the odd chat and boozer then get in touch. We could make magic happen.
I've been living in Tassie (launceston) for the past 3 years but have decided to move to Hobart to continue my studies and work. Originally from Sydney but have enjoyed the change of lifestyle Tassie has to offer. Very easy going, clean, respectful and outgoing. Will be studying full time and working part time. Love getting out and about on a day off and enjoying the sun and sights. A bit of a whizz in the kitchen and always enjoy watching a good cooking show with a glass of wine.
Hey! I'm a twenty something vegan, studying honours in zoology. I'm passionate about the environment, conservation, and trying to make a change in the world. I've been living in Hobart for a couple of years now but my current lease is not getting renewed so I'm looking for a room in a place with some like minded, easy going people who like a chat over a cuppa. I don't have any pets of my own but if you do I'm very happy to share a place with some furry little mates (or any sort of animal friend).
We're a busy, fun home. Married 22 years, we have four fantastic, almost grown kids aged almost 15 -21 years. Life is never dull here with lots of laughs and music (of the live variety). We are used to having students and love to include people living with us in our family. Everyone has their own space to retreat to and relax though and your need for quiet time will be respected. We all chip in to keep the house clean and tidy and this is just part of life so join in! We are connected to NBN and wifi is included but please don't go crazy. We usually eat dinner together and connect as a family and talk...it can get pretty raucous at times but you are welcome to be part of it or whatever makes you feel most comfortable. We love having people with us and believe over the years it's been great for our kids to get to know people from all over the world and different backgrounds. You are most welcome!
Calm easy going guy, who enjoys the outdoors doing rock climbing, camping and hiking. I am moving from the Blue Mountains, NSW. I am looking to meet new people in Hobart.
Peaceful, friendly with a good sense of humour. I am relocating to Hobart to complete my Masters in Psychology at UTAS so I am looking for somewhere relaxed and conducive to study. I am enrolled full time so at this stage I am not looking to gain employment while in Hobart though may consider it after gauging the study load.
Hiya I'm Dan. I work full-time for the Tasmanian Government. About me: - Hobbies include fishing, reading, PC gaming, watching TV shows/movies, adventuring. - Big fan of Mexican Fajitas - Easy going, self-contained and easy to get along with. - Cat lover and looking to get a cat next year (ie pet friendly environment and people wanted). - Coffee and beer lover. - I'm tidy, clean and hygenic. I'm looking for some friendly and clean people to live with who are around the same age as me!
My name is Griff, I'm 24 years old and currently living in Launceston. I work for the state government as a Project Officer. Early next year I will have to relocate to Hobart for work, and I also plan to study law part time. I've just started looking for potential accommodation and it appears that you can get more for your money if you share with someone - so I thought I'd give flatmates.com.au a whirl. I'm a very outgoing person who is easy to get along with. I'm admittedly quite tidy and clean, and looking for someone who shares the same qualities. I'm looking for someone who values personal space, but who is also willing to have a laugh and share a glass of wine. I'm quite into fitness, so chances are if you live with me, I'll be out most of the day either at the gym, or at work... Charismatic, hardworking and reliable are probably three words to describe me - take that as you will! I'd love to live as central as possible due to my work being in the centre of the city. A dishwasher would be idyllic... If you're interested in chatting further, then send me a message. At this stage, I'm looking to move late January - mid February. Looking forward to meeting you!
I'm a 29yo student, who will be working at the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Institute for roughly a month ( +/- a week), starting from the 23rd of January until end of February. So I'm looking for a furnished accommodation, which is not too far from my working place. I'm a clean, tidy and easy going guy, who likes to cook, socialise and is up for mostly any kind of outdoor activities. So in case you have or will have a room available shortly and you think this would work, shoot me text. Cheers, Fabian
Im a 50 year old young at heart male who gets along well with people from all walks of life. I love my sport, especially the footy when Im not working at the hospital. I love socialising and enjoy my own time too. I love a beer at the end of the working week and just chilling. Im a clean and a responsible person. When I do get time off I visit family who lives up North but unfortunately I dont get a lot of time off.
I'm usually up before 6 am for jogging, gym or to bake bread. I'm a full time PhD student studying how climate change effects soil processes. I kayak, hike, rock climb, bake and am pretty chill to get along with. I'm tidy and would prefer all common spaces stay tidy as well.
Hello, I have 2 rooms to let in a new and central Hobart townhouse. Rent amount is still to be finalised on the new lease (due to increase) but will be around $165 per week. I have lived here for two years with my miniature dachund, the living areas are fully furnished, and both bedroom have built ins so you just need to bring your bed. The house features a modern kitchen, a-bus sound system in living areas and bedrooms, sunny private courtyard, double glazing so cosy in the winter time, clean and happy home with a light and airy feeling. Best of all it's in the middle of North Hobart so everything is close by. One room is sunny and features a balcony, the other is darker and better suited to someone who doesn't like to rise with the sun :) Applicants should be friendly, positive, relaxed, clean and have room in their hearts for a dachshund. New lease mid feb. If interested message me and we can arrange a viewing and a cuppa :)

If anyone wants to get together to find a place to share, I would be down!
Heya! I'm an Adeladian post-grad student heading to Tasmania for the first time. Love hikes, good food and coffee (going to love Tassie!). I have a long experience in house sharing, both in Europe and Australia. I'm a easy-going person but neat, respectful and reliable. I clean after myself, love to cook and i am a quiet person, but enjoy company and a few occasional drinks. I pay my bills, bond and rent on time because I know what does it mean to rent a property. I have my own car and I'll be working part time during my studies. I'll be in Hobart the 22nd of January and would like to move into a room as soon as possible. Please let me know if you have anything that may suit my profile, thank you!

Flexible in time short or long term, we are very experienced when it comes to share houses, easy going, chilled housemates who know how to clean up after ourselves. Love a good glass of wine over dinner but will generally keep ourselves to ourselves if that's what you prefer.

I am a 20 year old female looking for a fun and exciting place to stay for the first semester at UTas. I am a Neuroscience undergrad student from the US studying abroad for a semester and would love to get a place with a couple other young people! I have lived in a dorm and suite for the last three years on campus and am well versed in the basics of having roommates. I enjoy the outdoors and plan on using every free moment to explore the country! That said I will be getting a part time job to supplement scholarships and will be studying hard. I would love to get to know someone else interested in exploring and having a great time. Any kind of teamup or house sharing would be ideal!
Uni student, sometimes quiet sometimes fun. The indoor part of me practices calligraphy, reads, bakes, plays ukulele and keyboard (won't disturb flatmates). The outgoing me loves camping, bush walking, backpacking, and trying news things will rush adrenaline. :) Easy-going and tidy person, open-minded, like socialising as well. I care about the feelings of my flatmates, I am all ears for your concerns, fears, troubles, joys etc. Shy to begin with but easy to get along well with. :)
I'm a student studying graphic design in Hobart and working part time in retail. I have two super friendly cats that are mainly inside (toilet trained) but happy to make them outside cats if need be. Looking for a place with house mates that are also fairly tidy, laid back and easy to get along with and that are also up for the occasional drink or two! My rent runs out 22 March.
Hi! My name is Georgie. I'm looking for some housemates to move in with me and my current housemate/cousin, Sarah, at the end of January. I'm a barista/deportment teacher coming into my last semester of Uni in 2017. Sarah works in early learning and outside school hours care. Sarah has an outdoor cat named Pepsi. He's small, black and thinks he's a human. Unfortunately though, he doesn't get along well with other animals - so all potential housemates must be pet-free. We're both friendly, easy-going and generally pretty quiet. We enjoy our netflix binges, espresso martinis and food. We'd like housemates who we could be friends with but we also understand the need for personal space. Our budget is $160 or lower per person, per week. If you'd like to have a chat to find out more about us, get in touch! We can't wait to hear from you!
