I have recently graduated and am moving from Sydney to Hobart at the end of February for full-time engineering work. I am easy going, but also organised when it comes to payments and keeping things clean etc, so I am searching for flatmates with similar qualities. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, exploring the surroundings, listening to music and reading. I like to chat and socialise, but respect everyone's personal space and privacy. As I will be working full-time, I am not looking for a loud and rowdy party house, just a relaxing place to wind down.
I am a yoga teacher and youth mental health advocate in my early-twenties, who is ferociously passionate about good company + a decent cup of tea. I teach and practice yoga, in both local studios and schools. I am also an avid hiker, camper, traveller and adventurer at heart. I love exploring our incredible backyard and I am very proud to call Tassie home. People are my passion and I love great chats, but I am also deeply respectful and appreciative of downtime and one’s own space (everyone needs a lil hermit time to recharge). I am also clean, considerate, organized, responsible and very easy going. I have a huge heart and I do pretty much anything to make people feel valued + loved. I look forward to connecting with you! ox
A beautiful, cosy old West Hobart house with a lovely garden and pizza oven. Gas cooking and a wood fire (which I'm happy to take care of) and other heating sources. Nice big bathroom (but only one) and good kitchen that gets bathed in morning sun. It is in a very quiet area but only 20 mins walk to the city and 5 minutes from North Hobart restaurant strip. The available room is large with a walk in wardrobe, a double bed and room for a desk.
I have recently moved to Tasmania and loving the place. I am an easy going person, that’s flexible, clean, looks after myself and helps maintain a place. I enjoy getting out and about and like to exercise and cycle or do anything outdoors!
Hi! I'm a Brit who is moving to Hobart in mid-Feb to work as a research scientist. I'm looking for a place to stay from mid-March, ideally. I'm really relaxed and respectful and am looking for like-minded housemates who are up for socialising around and out of the house, but who also understand that people need their own space at times. I'm hoping to live somewhere that has a really friendly atmosphere - I'm looking to make friends, not just for housemates who only say the bare minimum to each other. I love the outdoors and would love people to show me their favourite hikes, climbs, bike rides and beaches. But also I enjoy city life - visiting art galleries, going out for beers and to gigs for the odd dance. I'm looking for a room (furnished or unfurnished) that is big enough to fit a double bed and is within a ~20 minute cycle (or 30 min walk) of Salamanca Market. Let me know if you think I'd be interested in your room. I'm also potentially up for teamups.
Everyone has good and bad side. I am not an exceptional. But always try not to bother my mates. I am from Sydney. Love outdoor activities than indoors. If you are after money then I am not your right choice. Cheers !
I’m Ash! I’m 30, love and live for hiking, photography and making videos of my travels. I’m 110% respectful of my surroundings and people. I’m clean, tidy and conscious of others and their schedules. I enjoy a good banter, cooked meals and down time. I exercise daily and love to build a community of wonderful friends.
Hello future flatmates! We're looking for another roommate or a couple to join us in a beautiful house we have found. I (Lizy) am from Greece, and grew up in Canada. I moved to Hobart 3 years ago when i started my PhD in resource economics. I am hoping to stay in Hobart for a while yet. Lance is from Tassie, mixed with a bit of England. He has lived here nearly his whole life. We met in Tassie and are looking to move in together, and would love some roommates to get a nice big house and to keep the rent down :). We are both on the neat-freak side, really like common spaces to be kept very clean, and love to have people over for a game night every now and then. I tend to be away at work most of the time in the day, but love to have a nice place to come home to. Some words to describe us ('cause we're complete fucking nerds): Lance is trustworthy, caring, sly, and gentle. Lizy is exuberant, gregarious, conscientious, and fair. Cheers!
Hey! I am a 23 year old Tasmanian Utas student entering my 4th year of a double degree in Arts (Sociology) and Science (Zoology and Plant Science) . I also work 2 jobs in retail and hospitality. I am hoping to find a relatively cheap sharehouse close to uni with some friendly housemates! I am both introverted and extroverted so I would idealy love a share house where I can get along well and make friends with my house mates but I also don't mind keeping to myself! My hobbies include drawing, reading, gardening, cooking, bushwalks, and soccer. I enjoy a pint at the pub every now and then and would never pass up on some decent pub trivia! I am very open minded and accepting. I have previous experience with sharehouses and the responsibilities involved. I'm not one to start conflict and am generally a super chill and laid back type of person! Look forward to meeting you!
Hi there! Will be moving out from Sydney to Hobart to study and do my IT internship! I love to connect with people, but can keep it to myself when needed. I'm organized and fairly neat and will happily do my fair part of housework. Some of my hobbies are hiking, walk in the park, calisthenics and cooking. A big computer nerd, love helping people with tech stuff.
Hello there!! My name is Helen and I am a primary school teacher! It will be my first year as a teacher so looking for housemates who will be understanding and supportive. I am a super organised and clean person who takes pride in always being kind to others. I have 2 years old fur baby named Cora who you may or may not get to play with depending on the house. She is a Kelpie X psycho! I love getting out and about but also love to chill out and relax at home. I enjoy baking! Although may not always be the best at it but hey! It’ll make you laugh.

Really looking for someone to team up with to apply for a rental asap
Hi there, My name is Jordan and I am a young health professional. I've recently moved to Hobart and I am looking for a place to stay for around 12 months. I'm bright and fun, and happy to socialise with others and get out and explore Hobart. Sometimes I like to chill out at home as well. I live a healthy lifestyle, and like things kept neat and tidy. I am looking to stay with like minded people :)
I am studying business full time and working part time in an advertising and merchandising company in Hobart. I am a humorous, positive and organised person. I love exploring new places, reading new books, trying different cuisines, watching new movies and listening to music on my free time. I am looking for a peaceful, clean, safe yet fun and positive environment and people to live with.
Hello I'm working full time at the royal Hobart hospital. I'm a final year medical student so looking for a quiet place to call home. I play violin (don't worry, it has a mute!) And enjoy music and cooking. Looking for friendly housemates who enjoy a chat and a drink but also value personal space
I pick up after myself, respect other people's privacy and most importantly fun to live with!
I am a peace loving person. Most of my time will spend at work, early start to late finish. I am home for sound sleep and food so would be perfect if its a peaceful place. I am social but at home, I like having a private life. Always been staying away from home so I am good with the house rules, discipline, cleaning, protecting house things. Never had an issuse before. Try me Won't regret. THANK YOU
Hi! I'm looking for a share house with other professionals or part time students. I'm clean and tidy, and I like keeping an uncluttered house. I like being social with my house mates, and occasionally cooking a big meal for the house. I enjoy having a friend or two over for dinner now and again, but I'm not a regular party type. I work part time as a programmer for a local company, and i'm studying for my Bachelor of Science by distance part time. Outside of that, I have an active social life that gets me out of the house regularly. When I am at home, I enjoy hanging out with my pot plant collection, drinking a cup of tea while reading a book, and playing my saxophone (it isn't too loud, don't worry!). I'm a volunteer firefighter, which often keeps me busy over summer. I love going out to see local music, there are so many excellent local bands to see!
**Available from 30th of January, 2019** We have a cute little home in West Hobart. The pictures up are from the real estate so it’s a bit different than those now. We’re looking to make the house, cosy and comfortable space. The room is not furnished. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the CBD and 30mins to Salamanca. Hill Street is a 5 minute walk away. There is 1 parking spot in the driveway but we usually just park on the road. Bills are split evenly amongst everyone. The lease is up at the end of March, so we'll decide then if we want to extend it.
Reliable, honest, enjoy peace and quiet, but sociable too. I am a local professional, spent many years in Hobart and lived all around Australia and overseas. I’m neat and tidy and have been described as a ‘dream house-mate’ 😬
Hi :) My name's Talitha, I'm from Western Australia and I will be heading back over to Hobart on the 30th of January to begin my second year of a Bachelor of Marine and Antarctic science at UTAS. In my spare time I enjoy surfing, freediving, cooking and any and all adventures! I am quiet and quite clean so I am searching for a place with flatmates of similar qualities. I do enjoy a social drink and chat, however I also appreciate personal space and as I am a full time student I am not interested in a party house. Looking for a place preferably close to UTAS. I am flexible with the length of stay, but ideally I would like somewhere until the end of the university year.
I'm a 21year old Radiation Therapist moving to Hobart for work. I'm a quiet and respectful individual who likes meeting new people. I've lived in share accommodation for the last 4 years so I know what makes a good housemate and am neat, tidy and respectful of others. I equally enjoy exploring the outdoors as I do binge watching Netflix.
