Hey, I'm a german university student and I will make an internship in Rowville, Victoria for 3 months during my work and travel visa. This is the reason for looking for furnished rooms with nice guys to talk and to go out/drinking a beer for example. I've got experience in living in shared-apartments since I've started studying in Würzburg. I do not like shared apartments only to live there - instead to become friends :) I am open for everything and also want to travel around and make some sightseeing in Australia after my internship. It would be awesome, If you send me a message. Best wishes from Würzburg/Germany, Dennis
Hey everyone! I'm more or less a full time sales professional for Adidas with a love of soccer, films and gaming. I like to think I'm a happy, easy going person with a tact for privacy and just general sensibilities in what constitutes as a good flatmate. I believe I do have a good standard of cleanliness and am hoping to find like minded flatmates! I do have quite a bit of furnishing on me already so would prefer either moving into an unfurnished room with storage space or just look for a new unfurnished property together. Hope to hear from you soon, Matty

Hi there potential new house mate :). I'm a Male professional working in IT. I'm a non-smoker and easy going looking to share a house or unit preferably with an Asian or Indian lady in the East/Sth East Suburbs. I love the different cultures and Food :). I'm not interested in a multi-share or party house. Im looking for a person that I can communicate with when at home, and perhaps share a meal together and even a wine sometimes. Also happy to be private and keep to my self if required. Also if you have children I don't mind, as sometimes I would like to have my 5 year old daughter visit on the occasional weekend if possible. (She is very cute and very respectful) If you have a room available or are looking to share with someone please don't hesitate to email me with your details or questions. Kind regards Andrew
You mostly have your only house. Another two flatmates do not usually stay at home. Also, the house has a really large backyard with orange and lemon trees :). You are welcome to have BBQ in the backyard. The room will be available after 15th Jan
My name is Jasmine, I'm currently 20, turning 21 in March 2017. I work full time as a courier. I'm currently not studying but would like to start studying to become a lawyer later this year. I own a beautiful King Charles Cavalier names Sorrel which I would like to have living with me. During my spare time I like to read or play some games. I mostly keep to myself as I'm quite shy. Once you get to know me, I can be incredibly sociable. I'm great to live with because I'm very relaxed and easy going. I enjoy travelling and hope to travel overseas at least once a year.
So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to work each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
Hey, I'm Alex. I'm an 18yo university student from Queensland. I'm studying 2nd year Engineering/Architecture at Monash Uni, full time - so my hours can be all over the place but I'll usually be at a desk somewhere. I am a pretty quiet person, but I love hanging out with friends. I like music, a good book, art and the outdoors. I can also make some mean meals. I am a tidy person who will happily help out with cleaning.
Self contained large studio style accommodation downstairs in a large family home with separate entrance. It's quiet and very comfortable. You will have your own large kitchen, shower, and toilet plus storage room. Very close to the shops (7 min walk) and bus stop, Monash Uni Clayton.
I'm easy going, very clean and neat and tidy, easy to get along with. Make friends easily. Currently working full time at Coles The Glen. In my spare time I'm either at the gym or my boyfriends. So I'm really not home that often :)
Bus stop route 850 Glen Waverley - Dandenong just outside house, 15 seconds walk to shops, great location! No pets, fully furnished house. UNLIMITED high speed internet.Family owned house. Ducted heating Room has outdoor exit as well which connects to the backyard. If you have your own things is fine as well but we are fully furnished with washing machine etc.
Easy to get along with and tidy. Mostly keep to myself but also up for hanging out. I spend most of my time watching tv shows, movies and playing games.
I'm a fun loving 26 yr old Kiwi girl who is working full time in the CBD. Looking to move a bit further away from the busy city where I can chill out over wines and nature when I get home :-)
Single female, clean, quiet, respectful. Recently re-located back to Melb looking for a new home, and relaxed lifestyle. I like animals but don't have any. Preferably furnished place, but not a big concern. Have 2 adult children. Previously worked in aged care, and recently as a receptionist. Enjoy being outdoors, walking, socialising, dancing, reading, spending time with family and friends.
I'm clean and always keen to not impose on my housemates. I'm happy being independent and not seeing my housemates often, or having a social house, I'm fine either way. I am a student, and although I have no problems being in a friendly open house I would prefer to not have a party house, as my studies are important to me. Always happy to answer whatever questions you wish to ask. Only interested in unfurnished rooms, as I have my own bed ect and nowhere else to store them
I like to live in a relaxed and quiet environment but am not much bothered by reasonable noise (some loud music after work doesn't bother me, not that I put loud music on much, but until a reasonable time doesn't bother me). Visitors don't bother me, nor do house parties as long as they're not super regular. I keep to myself a lot during the week as I'm pretty tired after work, but definitely would like to hang out with my house mates on weekends or free time - but no obligations really of course, I just want a relaxed environment! :) I do not smoke, but am not bothered by smokers. I rarely drink, but don't mind drinkers or total non drinkers either. I have no dietry requirements, but happy to live with vegetarians or vegans and adjust my diet to suit comfortability (I don't eat meat a whole lot out of habit, etc). I'd like to live in a home, not a house - so people who are warm and have character would be optimum for me. Must be open minded/not homophobic/transphobic as I'm gay, and have gay and transgender friends who may visit on occasion. For work I'm a photographer at an advertising agency in Cremorne, so I appreciate arts based fields and art focused minds.
Hi there! I'm Sei Chao, I am 18 years old and I'm commencing in Monash Clayton on February. I am kind, friendly and helpful, I love sports and meeting people all around the world. Hey potential roomies! I am 21, working part-time as a beverage chef at a bar in the city, and also make and sell jewelry in my spare time. I am looking for a house that is occupied by people that are friendly, clean and are up for hanging out every now and then. I enjoy cooking, going to local gigs and chilling out with a book and a Jameson and dry after a long week of working. I consider myself to be respectful and neat, and can tell the best/worst dad jokes you have ever heard. Message me if you want to get to know me more!
Hello. I am from Japan and I enjoy knowing and sharing different cultures. I really enjoy time with my housemates being like a family. I am bit shy in the beginning but friendly.
My partner and I are very respectable and open minded. I am Australian and Bianca is Peruvian. We are clean and generally keep to ourselves due to study commitments. I am studying online fulltime- Psychology and Children and Family Studies. I will need to undertake 2 days placement for my studies and I will be working every Saturday in my hometown. Bianca will be studying fulltime to undertake a Masters in Business Administration. We are also happy to share meals on occasion or just keep to ourselves. We are looking for a good size room that can accommodate a desk because I study online. We would like a place close to the train because my partner has no license. Looking forward to meeting the right housemates :)
In 2017 I'm working as a primary teacher + running playgroup at my local church! Looking for female Christian housemates. I'm outgoing, love hanging out with friends and am currently obsessed with Gilmore Girls. I'm reliable and good with money + budgeting, decent with keeping things clean and organised and won't burn the house down with my cooking abilities.
I'm a 25 year old Storeman, with a permanent position working in Ferntree Gully. I'm after a stable, long term (1 year+) house. I'm a bit of a hermit, but I have spurts of me never being home. I'm usually pretty quiet, but always down for a beer. I have a great paella recipe, and keep things clean! 10/10 banter
Hi, I am moving to S/E suburbs of Melbourne from regional South Australia to work and study. I am a nice friendly, respectful person to live with and I know this is crucial to living in a share house. Looking at working in transport/logistics during the day and studying Myotherapy a couple of nights a week plus practical hours on weekends.
Currently in my 3rd year of Uni studying full-time, doing a Bachelor of Science at Monash University and I have another semester to go after this year with the possibility of further studies, either doing a postgraduate or Masters degree. I enjoy keeping busy during the day and between studying, volunteering and working part-time as a dental assistant and customer service officer, I don't really have time for much else. I do enjoy going out on weekends but I am not a party person at all although I wouldn't mind the occasional party but I'm not the type of person to go overboard - In fact, I'm really sensible. I'm a bit of a neat freak (clean and tidy), easy going and relaxed. I will mind my own business and happy to do my own things but will socialise or happy to have dinner together, etc... I currently live with 40 people and get along with all of them although I don't see all 40 at once. I'm definitely a really independent person and have been from a young age of living by myself so I can take care of myself, the house and being mindful of other people is important too! I'm looking to either share a house with 1 or 2 people, preferably someone who studies or a young professional who is working OR to go into an existing house that may have 1 or 2 people already sharing. More than one bathroom is preferable along with a garage to house my car, but not essential. Looking to move out end of this year or early next year before uni resumes in March. In saying this, I am open to any ideas so please ask for more information to get to know me!
I'm an zoology honours student at Monash University. I moved from Ballarat to Melbourne at the beginning of 2014 and have been renting in a house in Blackburn since then. However, I'm looking for somewhere new to move into to be a little closer to uni for this year. In a nutshell: I ride bikes, play guitar, enjoy animals, am social and don't mind a beer here or there. I am also clean, respectful and always willing to help out, and wouldn't mind meeting some rad people in the process either. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Hi all, About myself: I am a professional engineer with Northern-European background, recently moved here to enjoy better climate and way of life. I am cool with most of people and believe diversity will enrich us. I have a more doer attitude than a thinker or chiller. My hobbies include motorcycles (racing, cruising, touring), cars, bicycling, poker, disc golf, electronics, music. My ideal share-house I would join or create: I would prefer a European/western style share house (not a racist, we'll just get along better with similar cultural background). With 4-5 comfy individual rooms (to have more company, some possibly for couples), with an possible extra room for friends/Couchsurfers to temporarily stay in. All for the diversity. Can be male and female mixed. All working professionals (no need to argue about expenditures in range of 10$). Should be a home to live and thrive, rather than cheap accommodation. A big friendly family to share evenings and weekends by choice rather requirement, as of living together. Of course if one needs private time, this should be ok too. Friends coming over in the weekend should be a norm, rather a unwanted exception. Going out together to explore the city and events. Preferably with a paid cleaning for common areas/gardening service (unless somebody is too keen to do gardening by themselves. I guess cleaning in not a hobby :) ). Location: I would prefer living in a reasonable distance from my workplace (Mulgrave, up to 10km radius). The house should have a easy and fast access to the city for both car and public transport, should be located in or near the center of a well established suburb (restaurants, bars, cafes, etc.). House: Preferably new built or freshly renovated. Modern style. Adequate heating and cooling in all areas. Living area: Big living area with comfy sofas and large TV/projector. Console(s), if you are interested. Movie server/Netflix box. Fast Internet and WiFi. Kitchen: Big open kitchen with all the required utensils and appliances(micro, oven, cooktop, grill, etc.). Should be simultaneously comfortably use-able by at least two persons. Shared meals, why not. Backyard: Some greenery, BBQ, large covered sitting/lounge area. Possibly hot tub or a pool. Garage: Double-car garage with all the tools for simple maintenance for cars and bikes ( I am a DIY-er). Although, the actual vehicles should stay outside (except bikes and bicycles). Possibly create a common area there with a pool table, sofas and a fridge for drinks. My current situation: I do not own much property except a motorbike, a bicycle and some tools, but I would be willing to invest to create this kind of atmosphere. Of course, first solution would be to get all the required inventory from Gumtree for a cheap price and upgrade whenever necessary. It might be possible for me to get some of the stuff from a friend (couches, beds, mattresses, pool table, kitchen equipment). If any of this rings a bell for you, give me a message or a text, let's get together over a beer and discuss the possible future. Cheers, Rait
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a 4 month minimum stay, but could definitely do a long term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
Hi! I'm Lisa, I'm just completed my Nursing degree at Deakin. I have a graduate year with Monash Health starting from late January. I am super organised, and great with bills. I'm tidy, but not overly OCD with cleanliness. Working shift work will mean that you'll have the house to yourself some nights, but it also means that sometimes I'll have to do night shift and will need to sleep during the day. I am easy to get along with, but I'm also all for personal space. I am an artistic person in the sense that I have tattoos, and I love creating different looks with my hair ect. I just want to move in with someone who is super easy going, and will happily watch The Walking Dead with me! :) I'm not interested in moving into an overcrowded run down share house. I am not looking to move until March, thank you.
Hi I'm Jason, I'm a recently seperated 44yo self employed tradie, non smoker, looking for an understanding friendly environment to call home for a while. Originally from Berwick I'm looking for somewhere from Berwick to Camberwell along the monash or springvale road area.

Bonus points if you go to the gym (and hit legs) Also dabble in music when the mood strikes Pretty chilled, but always going to look after my responsibilities and goals first By no means a party animal, but don't mind if you are Work part-time as a volleyball coach and potentially working at RMIT next year as well Relatively tidy and organised, not a neat freak though Happy to contribute to the household with cooking, cleaning etc. Have shared with a friend for the past year, but he has had to move home for financial reasons, but that does mean I come house trained! Down to hang whenever If you're outdoorsy or a music lover, triple points for you
My name is Stephen, I'm 30, full time student who works part time. I like to socialise on weekends and don't mind the odd beer or wine when the occasion suits. I am courteous to others and pull my weight in a share house. I like rowing, aviation, afl (go dee's) etc.
I am an easy, outgoing, friendly person and am looking to move out with my bubbly dog! I work in retail part time with close to full time hours and am studying urban planning and design at Melbourne Uni. For fun I like hitting up cafes with friends and just chilling by the beach

My name is Emma I'm 24 and a Full-Time worker. I'm not currently back in Melbourne yet but looking to enter back home. I'm looking for somewhere in the surrounding suburbs of Glen Waverley or somewhere on the train line (ideally) I like to keep my weeks quiet because I'm generally so busy but like to socialise and will more than likely always be up for a chat. Weekends are a different story sometimes! I'm up most mornings to go to the gym or will go after work (depending on my shifts I will work around those). I like to keep shared areas clean and tidy as I'm reasonably organised - your room your business :P I have a cat, she's got a personality & makes things a little more fun.
