This is a happy house in Surry Hills, conveniently located near to Crown street, Centennial Park and Central Station. Coles is only just down the street and there are a number of gyms, parks and other amenities all within easy walking distance. The house itself is a 3 bedroom terrace house with a courtyard, washer and dryer. You'll have the downstairs bedroom which easily fits a double/queen bed, wardrobe, drawers and bedside table. You'll be living with two other people, Megan and Sam. - Megan is 26 and works in stakeholder engagement. She is an Aussie born and bred, but has travelled the world and spent the past couple of years living in Canada. She is a lover of aussie rules and playing sports in general. She is still quite new to Sydney and likes to spend some of her downtime exploring it. - Sam is 30 and moved to Sydney from LA three years ago and has lived in this house ever since (loves it here!). He works in the music industry, which can mean long hours, and enjoys relaxing on his weekend. He is super easy going and can find a good tune to suit any mood. We are looking for someone who is easy going and willing to have a chat and watch a movie or go out to dinner on the odd occasion, but is also comfortable in their own company. You should be clean and tidy (and if you are a cooking enthusiast who doesn't mind sharing that will definitely be a positive!!). Ultimately though, we are looking for someone who can slot into the household easily and make themselves a part of our home.
Great locations only minutes to Crown St Surry Hills. Master bedroom with private balcony. Friendly share house. Suitable for a couple or two friends sharing. We have a large bedroom with a comfy king sized bed. Two french doors lead onto a private balcony, ideal for brunch or a glass of wine in the evening. The house in total has five bedrooms. Although that may seem like a lot, the bedrooms are spread over three floors and it never feels crowded. There are two bathrooms, each with there own shower and toilet. On the ground floor is a spacious kitchen/dining/living room. Two comfy couches and TV for movie nights with the housemates. Access to the basement is from the kitchen, used mainly for storing camping gear etc (feel free to use camping gear if desired). In the court yard at the back of the house there a BBQ area, fish pond, table and chairs. Perfect for relaxing on balmy summer evenings. Great location! Room is available from 14/12/16 until 27/03/17 as we will be away travelling. We are only interested in people who can take on a 3-3.5 month lease. Looking forward to meeting you.
Large furnished room with adjacent exclusive use full bathroom on vibrant Crown St near Devonshire. Room is on the back side of the house, so it is removed from any street noise. Small back patio with a BBQ. Large kitchen/dining area. We are a tidy, professional couple who has been in Sydney for 2 years now. I am a 35 year old American male, an engineer, and world traveler enjoying the Australian lifestyle. She is a 28 year old Russian, in the financial industry, also an avid traveler. I like cooking, she likes cleaning- we both like eating :) We are interested in having another international single or couple to share and enjoy space with us. We have furnished the common areas with comfort and lounging in mind while keeping a considerable amount of open space. The kitchen has quality stainless steel appliances, and nice dishes and cooking stuffs. There won't be a TV in the common areas... We have one in our room, and we do like to watch a series or movie, but we see the living room as something for dining, lounging, reading, chatting or listening to music rather than watching TV. Included in the rent ($40/week extra for couples) weekly additional pays Utilities, internet, WEEKLY CLEANER of common areas and your bathroom, as well as shared perishables (toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels, salt, onions, garlic, olive oil, etc... within reason) is in addition to the weekly rent. Keeping things tidy and cleaning after yourself when you cook is your only chore! We are seeking a single or couple around our age either professionals or with plenty to do with their day. We prefer not to have party animals- but just normal people who might enjoy a night out occasionally and come home to sleep it off rather than have an after party- thus we have a quiet after 10pm rule. Keeping common areas tidy (washing the dishes after use, wiping kitchen surfaces or tables, etc...) is the only way we've found sharing space to be practical, and hopefully you feel the same. Hopefully you are looking for a place to stay for the next 2 months to a year! It will be great to get to know you and possibly share this space with you! Please contact us for an appointment to view the flat. We are located on Crown St near Devonshire. Please message or SMS for address and include your name and profile link. Cheers! Leif (Life) and Anna Exclusive use bathroom (downstairs), shared bathroom for balcony room Weekly cleaning Washer AND Dryer Air Condition Built-ins Queen Bed and nightstand

Hi I am a single, clean, quiet, working Australian male. I need somewhere quiet during the day as I do some work from home. I love peace and quiet so I'm after a quiet location - no planes flying overhead, no major roads or rail close by. One major reason I need to move is I have neighbours dogs driving me crazy with constant barking so I need somewhere that doesn't have this problem. Nature/gardens/greenery would be great. For housemates, generation Y would be good I only want to live with Australians/English people not other languages/cultures My budget of $250/w is including bills and internet No young kids or smokers or dogs. Internet is essential. I will consider places out of Sydney such as Central Coast and rural areas. Cat-friendly would be a huge bonus.
Hello there! I'm a journalism graduate travelling in Sydney now, originally from Singapore. I'm respectful, tidy and easy going, would love a pint over a chat with mates every now and then with no problem giving people their space. I'm looking for a double room for my boyfriend (he's from France) and I. If you think I'm a potential housemate, kindly drop me a text. Cheers x
Hi! I'm a country girl now working full time in Syd in the Environment sector. I love cooking, shopping for food, and going out for food. I also enjoy fitness! I am very social but also like being a hermit in my room once and a while. I love having big sleep-ins on the weekend then doing brunch, or something active like a bushwalk/rock climbing, or seeing music/art/festivals/farmers markets. I am currently in a very old terrace and I suspect the owner will soon be selling- so I'm keeping an eye out for spare rooms. I'd like my own room, in a house with other working professionals (I like to be in bed early-ish on school nights!). I'm looking for a semi social household, with two-three other housemates. I have a girlfriend but she has her own place and we spend equal amounts of time at one anothers' houses. I don't have a car so would really like to live near a train station :) Message me if you think I might be a good addition to your home!
Hi, I've been back in Australia for two years having spent the last 14 years living and working in London. I work in the film Industry. I'm British born but grew up in Melbourne. I work full-time, and while there is an office in Surry Hills that I can use, I prefer working from home most days. I'm looking for a professional, easygoing housemate 35+. Ideally just one housemate, but would consider living with two. Ideally I'd like a larger bedroom (smaller is OK if there is a study). I'm looking for a house that feels like home, I don't mind getting a cleaner, I like to cook, and am pretty relaxed about things generally. I smoke occasionally but can do that outside. I've been looking to move for a few months now, but haven't found the right combination of home and flatmate yet. Pet's are no problem. I would also consider finding a house with another and us both moving in and going on the lease together. I'll respond to emails promptly, hope to hear from you.
Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm studying the Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Sydney and work part-time as a medical receptionist. I'm searching for a twin share room or single room within short distance to USYD. The ideal place would have a desk or space for me to put a desk, internet access, and a decent sized wardrobe. I also need a quiet and peaceful environment and would prefer to live with other students or working professionals. More about me - I am originally from Melbourne and have been in Sydney for almost 2 years. I have lived in flatshare before so know how to respect the space/privacy of others and how to clean up after myself. Please contact me if you have a suitable place!
I am an easy-going, clean and respectful person who is responsible and reliable. A house of 3 to 4 bedrooms will absolutely be preferred. I also like the peaceful atmosphere of my own space when I am tired. Love to socialise, share food, books, stories and hang out with anyone who is up for it!
Im 24 from Sydney studying a bachelor of composition and music production at A.I.M and I produce and record music mainly hiphop/rnb/trap sometimes dance etc and have my own recording studio so i hope you like music.. also i dont smoke cigarettes BUT i love my greens. Hi All. I am 28 and work full-time in the not for profit sector. I am a fun and easygoing person and am looking for a house with like-minded people. I enjoy a chat and sharing a glass of wine or two with my housemates but am equally respectful of giving people their space. Look forward to hearing from you!
I recently moved to Sydney to work on setting up an Australian office for my current company in the US. I'll be in Sydney through at least May 2016, and have been staying in Surry Hills and really love it. I currently work from home, so I tend to be around pretty frequently,. I don't know a whole lot of people here, and figured the flatmates situation would be a great way to meet people.
Hey! I'm 24 and work full-time in media. I enjoy keeping active, exploring markets on the weekends and the occasional Netflix binge. I'm very easy going, tidy and don't mind a wine or two after a long week at work. Hoping to find similar people to live with, who are happy to let me do my own thing, but also down for a drink or Sunday brunch. Please get in contact if you think I could be the right fit for your home! Cheers.
I work in city (full time) in IT sector. been living in Ashfield since I moved to OZ-land. Why am I moving: I am sharing an apartment with a girl in Ashfield. Knowing how ignorant I am about a lot of things i never got my name on Lease and now after two years I am realizing how stupid i have been all along. My boyfriend will be moving to Australia somewhere in March-April and i want to have at least 6 months of rental history on my name before he arrives and I think its time for me to explore more areas and get out of Ashfield. I am reasonably clean person and have a bit of sensitive nose so ensure where i live smells nice. Besides my work, i like to be involved in physical activities (read rock climbing, gym, pole) and be happy to team up if you are ever up for any of that. (P.s. you might catch me casually hanging upside down on a pole or struggling with splits, in situations like that I urge not to freak out). Try to cook and easy on sharing food. Don't mind sharing a glass or 6 of wine over weekend while binging on obscure titles or random youtube. Got some stuff with me; LED TV, legacy Xbox, microwave; will be buying some new room furniture.. probably for lounge as well if we agree. Reliable with rent and bills.. and don't cook up explosives in backyard (in case if that's what you are scared of). Atheist Pakistani by birth btw (I know rare combination). Appreciate communication and big on privacy while open to friendly banter.
Hi there! I'm Trian (male), a 28 year old professional who works full-time for a professional services and technology firm. I spend my time staying fit, catching up with friends or family, and travelling whenever I get the opportunity. I'm laid back, respectful of others and their privacy, keen on keeping a clean and tidy home, and enjoy a chat over a meal and/or beverage. I would like to share a home with with someone who is friendly, considerate and tidy. I'm often busy doing my own thing so independence and privacy is important to me but I would like to live in a home where I can also share quality time with my housemate. This could be over a beer at the pub, watching a good movie or sharing a laugh. If you think we'll be a good fit, let's chat and take it from there!
Editor working at a book-publishing house in the North Sydney area. Social, considerate, creative and up-beat. :) I'm looking for shared accommodation with other young professionals.
I work full time and am wanting to live closer to the city. I enjoy good nights out, but also want a place that is relatively tidy, feels homely and where I can have a good night's rest.
Hi, I'm Evan. A little about me, I'm a full-time bar manager for the Swillhouse group. That means my time is spread out between Shady Pines Saloon in Darlinghurst and the Baxter Inn in the CBD, though predominantly the former. This means I work nights and tend to get home late. With this being said, I'm an extremely respectful person and value a comfortable and amicable home. I'm available to move in whenever suits you, and any bond payment is ready to go. If you'd like to talk some more, feel free to contact me on 0407064408 or firstname.lastname@example.org or swing by one of the bars. First drink is on me ;) Thanks!
Myself and partner are looking for a room to rent as we arrived into Australia in August. We are both easy going, friendly and out going people. We are both willing to do the cooking/cleaning and work as a team. We are currently based in Perth at the moment but will be moving to Sydney due to work reasons, and will be arriving on the 28th Oct 16. Will be staying in a hostel/hotel for the first couple of days to get ourselves on our feet but then wanting to move into a house/rent a room asap.
We are a couple from Colombia, both of us working and studing more than 1.6 years ago in Sydney. We are looking for our own place (no sharing with others) where we can relax as we are very quiet and calm persons. We also are responsable, hard workers, reliable and respectful people in our 30's (no party persons at all). We are looking for a furnished studio, unit or grannyflat with own and private bathroom and kitchen for at least 6 months. We can provide references from past accommodation and current jobs.
I'm looking for a decent sized room (at least double) in a shared house or apartment, preferably a place with off-street parking or reliable on-street parking. Not after a party house but can manage an occasional beer or wine :) I cook most nights, as long as the kitchen isn't tiny I'm happy. I enjoy being active, I go to the gym a few times a week and try to go rock climbing at least once a week. When I get the time I'll try to go hiking too! Love all kinds of music/movies. Love cats and dogs but can't live with them as I'm allergic - tragic, I know...
I'm Alex, a 25 year old male living the 9-5 corporate life. Hobbies include staying active by going to the gym and playing touch football. I stay pretty tame through the week, either at training or the gym most nights after work. Weekends are spent hanging out with friends. I'm very easy going, respect a clean living environment, happy to share meals etc but also respect each other's down time and privacy.
