I’m a recent import from Canberra, moved here for work. I’m working full time in the CBD Monday to Friday 8:30-5. Looking to love into an established place or even set up a new sharehouse.
We're looking to move in with some cool people. One of works in sales, the other at a uni in arts research and teaching. We're clean, respectful, fun and friendly. We have a 2yo golden retriever who is fun-loving, friendly and hilarious. He’s well trained, walked daily and comes to work at the uni sometimes. We’re both very easy going. We're quite social but understand the need for down time and privacy.
Hey! My name is Salvatore (Salva), I'm from Chile and I will be living in Australia for a year starting from September 28 with a Working Holiday visa. About me! I am 26 years old and i'm a very easy going guy. This is my first experience living outside of my parents's house (and also living so far away from home). However! I have a high sense of freedom and independence. I'm not a clean maniac, however i could define me as clean and tidy, with the habit of cleaning after myself. I love traveling (I went backpacking in South America 3 times), meeting other people and learning about other cultures. I like deep conversations and laughing at simple and idiotic things. If it's with the company of a glass of wine or beer, the better. Last but not least, I am an advertiser executive by profession. I worked for more than a year in a TV channel in Chile as a Creative Copywriter. I'm planning to find a job when i arrive, could be in my professional area or other (hospitality). I'm an open and respectful soul. *I smoke but I respect the space and the other people living with me so i have no problem managing that if it's an issue
I’m Alex, a 24 year old working in marketing in the beauty industry. I’m looking for somewhere to call Home for a year or so, preferably with someone who likes a chat, a glas of wine and a face mask night! I work long hours and gym during the week so I’m out of the house early, home quite late and nearly always tired so you won’t see too much of me! I’m generally out most weekends too, as I like to keep busy with friends and fam. Also, I’m originally from Hobart - no I don’t have two heads - so I’m often jetting Home or having friends or fam over occasionally to visit.
Hi we are Laura(23) & Kieran(25) we are both from Scotland and have been together for 8 years, we are very down to earth and up for a laugh. Right now we are dong our 88 days farm work to get our second year visa. We leave in December to travel Asia & South America before returning to this wonderful country. We both enjoy keeping fit and exercise whenever we can. We like socialising and going out on weekends & we love to cook! Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a quiet hardworking young professional. I manage a retail business full-time, run a digital editing lab and photograph for work - so as one of the busiest people you'll ever meet I'm very quiet at home and travelling/out for work quite a bit - but always down for an adventure and doing something fun. I am very clean and easygoing and a very respectful roommate - looking for a place I can feel comfortable and call home.
I'm 26, work in digital marketing in an agency off Chapel St. An enthusiast for underground electronic music, amateur cryptocurrency investor, love a good Sci-Fi and has a weakness for Salt and Vinegar chips. I'm open minded, like to stay active and love trying out hidden bars and new experiences.
Available from 13 September. It is conveniently located 200 meters from St kilda road where you have easy access to the city. close to prahran station and to chapel street. Very nice one bedroom apartment with all furniture. Fridge is new. it has windows everywhere. I am going interstate so want to rent it out. I prefer working professionals with no pets. It has unlimited internet. There is parking for additional cost if you require.
James, Chef from London Enjoys cooking for others and putting an effort for a good meal, likes electronic dance music, analogue music equipment, history of the world, especially mans relationship to food and nature. exploring new areas and meeting new people, especially interested in food culture around the world Kaylee, Barista from Korea Enjoys food, drink, meeting people, socialising, trying new things, hip hop, movies, learning wisdom from elders. agriculture student
The room is equipped, only a chair is lacking. Kitchen, living room and bathroom are fully equipped! We usually pay the rent every month: $ 993, we share the bills. You would walk 10 minutes to Windsor Station. (the train takes you in 12 minutes to the CBD) You'd walk 4 minutes to the tram station Lewisham Road (Tram 6) and 8 minutes to the tram station Williams Road (Tram 64 and 5). Last but not least there is the perfect bus 216/ 219 that goes to Brighton Beach ! Love it! Furthermore your new home is very close to the popular Chapel Street ! Enjoy!
Hi potential housemate! I am an international student from Singapore looking for a private room for a long term stay. I will be starting my undergraduate in Film and Television Production in September. I love coffee, movies, music, photography and all types of art. I am friendly, chill, easy going, neat and open to other cultures. I am sociable, happy to hang out during my free time but also respect people's privacy (I undestand everyone likes their alone time). I'm looking for a place that is clean and tidy. Nothing fancy but decent, with fun people up with great sense of humour. I would prefer a place that is less than an hour away from Southbank via public transport. I am also open to teamups! :)
I love to hang out, have a good chat, dinner or watch a movie, but I’m not a party animal. I’m neat and tidy, enjoy cooking, and I’m quick in the bathroom! Unfortunately I do rather enjoy to sing and dance goofily around the house 😅 I love yoga and pilates, travel, board games, brunch/dinner with friends, AFL and going on adventures. I work in Digital and currently have a car.
Clean and respectful. Always up for a laugh. I work as an engineer Monday-Friday, so am generally out during the day, but do work from home at times. Have been in Melbourne for 3 months after relocating from Tasmania. Was previously living in Southbank on a short term lease and now looking for a new home.
Hi!! I am an engineering student that just moved to Melbourne to do an internship! I come from Spain and i am looking for a private room in a shared house and since i am new in the city it will be amazing to share with sociable people that are up to doing stuff together from time to time. I've already shared a house for 4 years in Valencia while doing my bachelor and 2 years in the Netherlands where i did my masters. So i know how to live with others and i am always up for going to grab some drinks or do some sports! If you have anything that suits me, please let me know!
I'm a recent graduate with a Masters in Dietetics so as you may expect I love food! I also like the gym, I play footy and dabble in growing veggies a couple of times a year. I'm a bit of a tinkerer and love having a project or two on the go, usually giving some furniture a bit of a refresh or making something new. I'm a relaxed kinda housemate but I am looking to find somewhere where the people respect the space they live in and keep it clean. If you think I might be a good fit for your house please get in touch!
Originally from England but have been livinb in Australia for two years. I am a very happy and chatty person, love animals and the outdoors. Not a very girly girl at all. I like the occasional night out but I'm not a big party person. Looking for people who are happy to hang and chill out with. Currently working full time but will be starting a course soon.
Hi! I'm 20, studying Software engineering at Monash uni and working part time, I am looking to move closer to uni and work. I am very clean, respectful and reliable but also enjoy being social, down for drinks and banter :)
I have the most well behaved cat in existence? Hah, I shouldn't start with that. Hello, I'm a recently graduated student looking to get closer to the Eastern suburbs. I am quite private and keep to myself often so you probably won't see me around much. I am a very clean individual (clean as you go!) and I keep to my own spaces, I live off my computers as a digital artist. I am looking for work in Bar tending and Barista-ing which might mean late hours. I don't mind what gender I'm living with so long as they pick up their own junk and don't let my cat out into the neighbourhood to get lost in. I'm rather bad at cooking but I can do simple recipes, though I'm prone to forgetting to eat. Don't mind me, I'll be fine haha. I don't smoke nor am I into drugs but I don't really mind others doing so if it's away from me. I'm rather passionate in LGBTQIA+ issues but I'm not one to bring it up to people who didn't come to argue. My cat is a chronic sleeper and enjoys naps in the sun. He has no interest in human beings or climbing counters/tables after he has done it once. He makes no messes and doesn't go to the loo enough to even be a concern (he's a clean child). I love him so much my heart bursts with joy thinking about him.
Hi everyone :) I am moving from Adelaide to Melbourne (Permanently) on the 20th of October as I am wanting to pursue my Acting. I currently work at Coles on a part-time contract but I get full-time hours and have already lined up a store transfer to the South Melbourne Coles store so I am looking to live as close to that store as possible. I am very well mannered, friendly, respectful and clean. I do not smoke, drink and never touched any kind of drug. I love watching movies, going to the gym and playing video games. Ideally I am looking for a room but I would be keen to team up with other people looking for a place but as I will not be bringing much with me when I move over, anywhere I move I would need it to be furnished. I would really like to find a place that I can call my home for 6 months - 1 year or possibly more :) Also seeing as I have never been to Melbourne and moving there is a huge step, I would love a place that I can meet new friends and be shown around Melbourne. Look forward to hearing for you all :)
