Hello potential housemates, I'm looking for accomodation in Melbourne from the 8th of July onwards as my current lease in not being renewed. I'm currently studying a master's degree in Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne. Originally from Sydney but lived in Adelaide for 2015 and have lived in share-accomdation/ with house-mates for well over 5 years and understand the importance of living with like-minded legends. Open to living with either males or females and have done both in the past four years so am comfortable living with a pretty wide range of people. Will be studying and at uni fairly frequently so not likely to be a particularly loud housemate but still love a couple of drinks on the weekend and enjoy being social. Already living in the South Yarra area so can't see moving being much of a problem. Open to a teamup or share-house so feel free to let me know If you think I might be a good fit.
The house is in Windsor, in an awesome location a very short walk to the fun end of Chapel street with all the new bars and restaurants. That said, we are far enough away that we don't get bothered with too much noise and foot traffic going past the house. Tram stop right on the corner and more trams, trains and buses all within a short walk. Street parking with a permit is available. It is a three-story, three bed, two bath townhouse with reverse cycle a/c throughout and double glazed windows in the bedrooms to keep it quiet at night. Shared open plan living and kitchen, with an extra living/study area at the front and a balcony with a bbq and a big umbrella out the back. The room is the master bedroom, large size (4mx4m) with built in robes, a/c and a small private balcony. Central bathroom (pictured) is shared with one other bedroom. The room is unfurnished but the rest of the house is fully furnished. Rent is $240 per week, plus shared bills. Bills include all utilities, contents insurance, fast cable internet, netflix and a fortnightly housecleaner. This all currently works out to $195 a month each. Bond is $1000.
22 year old Canadian backpacker coming to Australia with a working holiday visa; totally out of the oridinary right?! I love electronic music, poetry/painting/writing/art, drinking, festivalling, good food with good people, wildlife, sauerkraut, pancakes, and lemurs, in no specific order. Looking for accomadation with fellow human who have common interests or teaming up as well. I am very organized and tidy, outgoing with a tad of introvertedness, and have a knack for dry humour and sarcasm. ✌🏻🦄🥞👑
Extremely easy going, friendly and respectful girl who is looking for a quiet/peaceful and friendly home :) I make friends with almost everyone, love movie/Netflix binges, time to myself and housemate lunch dates. Send me a message to chat :)
Hi there, My name is Mix, a 20 years old boy. I'm a university student, major in architecture. Anyway, I come to Melbourne for taking an architecture courses during my university summer holiday! As a housemate I'm a pretty relaxed and easy going person, who likes to chill out plus I'm tidy, clean, and respectful. One of my hobbies is taking photos but if I have a lot of free time, I always be active (running, rugby, cycling), play piano, explore local exhibitions, enjoy a good cafe and I love cooking sooo much, especially Thai food!!! I'm also an animal lover so that would not be a problem at all :) Send me a message if you think we'd get along! Cheers,
Hey guys! Lovely sunny, spacious and modern apartment. Incredible location just off chapel right near Windsor train station. Two balconies, one off the bedrooms and one at the front off the living room, overlooking a park and bowls club. The bedroom is a good size and has a large double cupboard.
Hi My name's Gizelle. I'll be moving to Melbourne early June to study and work. Ideally I would like to find someone to team up with a rent as it seams to be a bit cheaper than just renting a room but I'm open to offers. I'm hoping to move into a place with someone that I get along with really well and will consider a friend more than a house mate. I'm new to Melbourne and would love if I could find someone to show me the ropes a little bit. Feel free to text or message me Thanks ☺
Hello :) I'm Becca I'm 25 (nearly 26 - unfortunately!) and work as a recruitment consultant in the CBD. Currently living in southbank but looking to find a new place in the south Yarra, Prahran area. There is just zero going on where I am, its convenient for work but boring! :) I'm Originally from the UK and have been here for 2 years, work full time and sponsored :) I'm pretty chilled in the week and am a gym freak also so try to be good Monday to Friday! Like a glass of wine and head out on the weekends somewhere! Ideally looking for a team up with female/s that are similar age to me :) Message me if you want to know anything else! X
Hi future Flatmates! I am Anu, 23, studying full time at La Trobe and working part time at Dominos! (Yes, I get free pizzas once in a while ;) ). I am looking for a private room anywhere near Chapel street. I am very easy going and a social person and I also love my occasional 'ME' time. I will be pretty busy during the weekdays either working/studying and during the weekends I love to let off some steam by either partying or going out with friends or just chilling at home with you guys over a bottle of wine, gossiping all night :p I am not a house-party kinda girl, but I don't mind if you are, as long as I am informed about it before. I won't call myself a cook but I do cook whenever I have time to kill, so you can expect good food once in a while! Oh and I love shopping!! We would get along so well if you do too :D - Neat and tidy but not a freak like 'Monica' ;) - Smoking- at the most 2 per day - Got a car, a plus point! - Vegetarian, but I do eat chicken once in a while (Don't mind if you are not :) ) I am looking for someone like-minded and if I am the kind of a person you are looking for, please feel free to contact me. We can meet over coffee/drinks and know more about each other :) Cheers!
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying (which is hardly ever) I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
Hello! :) I'm a 27 year old professional female, working a 9-6pm job, Monday - Friday. I am looking for a new place to call home and hopefully there is someone out there with a suitable room/place for me. I'm a very clean, tidy, respectful, and trustworthy person. I'm also very social, quite fun!, and I love meeting new friends. I have been in my current role for almost 3 years, 5 years in Melbourne, and I'm originally from England. I would love to find a place with my own bathroom or ensuit but if I'm sharing with another clean female then that would be ok too! Please get in touch if you think I could be right for your home! :)
I work in retail in the city and also am in my last year of a musical theatre degree. In my spare time I'm usually at a dance class, playing piano in the uni practice rooms or writing. On weekdays I'm rarely home in daylight hours, but when I am home I love getting to know my housemates. I have rental history, references attesting to my chillness, cleanliness, friendliness and general fabulousness (and obviously my humility); and five years of share house experience.
I'm 25 and work as a graduate lawyer in the city. I'm easy going, pay bills on time, love being active but also enjoy a cheeky vino or two. Love being social with housemates but also happy to do my own thing. Preferably looking to move out with people aged 25-35, would prefer to be close to public transport and to have a car spot.
Hi all! :-) Originally from N-Zed, but Australia is basically home for me now. Have spent most of my time living in Sydney, spent a couple of years living in London and have been living in Melbourne for 3-months now. I work full-time as a Regional Training Manager for Specsavers Monday-Friday's. A normal day for me would be get up at 5am for the gym, go straight to work from the gym, then come home between 6-7pm to cook some dinner and chill out. In the weekends I love to spend time with friends with some food, coffee, and a glass of wine or two! Most weekends I spend relaxing as my working days can be long days. I love my job, find it so rewarding and would consider myself a positive minded person. My ideal housemate(s) is someone who is like minded, clean and tidy (really like coming home to clean and tidy house), and would be great to have someone to have a yarn and glass of wine with on the odd night or so. I'm ideally looking for a place with OFF STREET PARKING (garage a bonus!) and my OWN BATHROOM. Feel free to flick me a message if you have my dream flat! Elaina :-)
I work full time in marketing/comms. I am easygoing, tidy, and respectful of people's privacy. In the week, I am more relaxed just gym and work. During weekends I like to go out and see friends. I've done a lot of houseshares, and lived in a few countries, so I know the score... I'm pretty independent so I'm happy to do my own thing and have a glass of wine and catch-up when we see each other. Ideally looking to move in by mid-June or even before. I have a bed and bedroom stuff, but no other furniture. Happy to negotiate with furnishings etc. I don't have a car either so don't need parking permits.... Any questions, just ask! :-)
Hi I'm Beck! Looking to move into a share house with people who I will soon call my best mates, together cooking amateur dinners and sinking bevs. I'm currently working in Human Resources, behind a bar and babysitting. On my nights off I'm often a sloth on the couch or 'eating my money' on Chapel St. I'm super tidy, always pay my bills on time and understand that sometimes alone time is needed. Looking forward to chatting!
Hey! I'm Chelsea, I'm 22 and I work full-time as a production co-ordinator for a photography studio. I'm looking to share a place with someone in a similar age-bracket and situation (i.e. young professional that is chill and kinda cool - but not too cool, ya feel) I'm looking for a place within walking distance to Prahran Market as I work nearby. I'd like to share with one or two people. I have enough furniture to start a new place, but I'd be open to moving into a pre-established share-house as long as most of my furniture can come with me! In my spare time, I like to write, drown myself in movies and tv shows and have a few laughs over a g+t like I'm a sixty year old widow. I'm clean, reliable and very organised. what i'm looking for: a bedroom with a nice window a lovely housemate a kitchen with more than 5cm of bench space off-street parking so yeah, basically get in touch if you're looking to make a house a home and would maybe consider teaming up with me to do so. also get in touch if you already have a place you'd like me to check out! - Move: July 2017 (or as close to the end of June as possible) - Area: Prahran/Windsor - Budget: $200w + bills (max each) - Stay: Probably 1 year minimum if all goes smoothly (Not keen on living with a couple)
I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable & respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm often away with work & gym and attending other social events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) BTW I'm also flexible with length of stay, I can potentially stay much longer than 6 months - just thought that might be a good length of time to start on.
- neat, tidy and responsible - love to socialise but i'm a little awakward (lol, don't hate) - full-time student and have part-time job so i'm busy most days! *LOOKING FOR A PLACE THAT'LL ACCOMODATE 1 YEAR OR MORE*
Spanish mate with Work & Holiday Visa working on IT & Design. Planning to have a "serious" kind of live, with timetables and stuff, but I don't know how to say no to a drink. Not keen on sports but love to hike and going outdoors (also curious about AFL). Musicals fan. A lot of Netflix, too: love binge watching. I think games are a great thing (more even if you mix them with drinks) and like to do 420 at the end of my day. I'm looking for a social place to stay and where sharing some odd drinks, some meals or maybe a movie. Of course I enjoy my me time and respect everyone's privacy. I enjoy cooking once in a while. I am truly open-minded and respectful. Did I say drinks?
As the title of this ad suggests this is potentially the best houseshare in Windsor ever offered. The time has arrived and I'll be heading off to Europe next week, intially this room will be avaliable for two months(June and July). However one of my housemates will be moving out with his girlfriend soon, so the room could also become avaliable long term while you stay in June and July. This could be a great option if you are looking for something fully furnished short term or potentially long term aswell. The rent is normally $230 per week but I'm offering it for $200pw. The house itself is very large with a great lush back garden, and being so close to Chapel St is quite a rare find. We are located only 5mins from Chapel St, a 10 Min walk to Wndsor, Prahran or Hawksburn Train stations, and there is a tram stop 1min walk.
