Hello lovely people of Australia! My good friend Garkein grew up Nottingham of the UK and has a flair for cooking. I hail from the Rocky Mountains in the US where I learned to love the outdoors. If we can see new places, meet new people, and learn about new cultures while maintaining a kind and open minded approach then we'll be content. I finished my Mechanical Engineering Technology degree at Montana State University whereas Garkein got the travel itch after a long stint in the recruitment industry. We then set our sights on Australia, the perfect place to pursue the aforementioned goals. Garkein will be working in the Recruitment industry again, this time in Melbourne. I'm currently working in the city as a data analyst at the Alfred Hospital with Monash University. I’m hoping to find a place close to my office that I can call home for a few months. While we're adventurous in the outdoors and the kitchen, no need to worry about any excessive partying, alcoholism, smoking, drugs etc. We're very respectful of other's property, and privacy; and will seek to ensure the living situation is beneficial for everyone involved. If you'd like to add a touch of class to your living arrangement look no further. Hope to hear from you soon! Trevor & Garkein
Hi my name is Colin, I am from Ireland I am lively, friendly and respectable guy. Currently I am working in construction but come from an Engineering background which is my main aim to find work in my field. I am equally a fun and an easygoing guy and love to socalise with friends and meet new people. Current interests are mainly the outdoors love to hike, rock climbing, surfing, sailing and when I can fit it in the gym. I love to travel and see new places and have a keen interest in music and enjoying going to festivals and dancing my socks off and meeting new people. My aim is to find a space in share house and as I am very new to Melbourne would ideally be looking for a place that I can have the chance to meet new people and have the potential to get involved in any activities, planned trips and overall have the opportunity to fall in with whatever is going on etc!!
I'm an American heading to Melbourne for grad school. I'm calm, chill, and quiet and looking for similar people to live with. I like to be social, from time to time, but do enjoy my alone time. I am looking for a private, furnished room for a long term stay.
**Looking for roommates to team up with** Hi I'm Steve, I'm 21 years old and will be studying Education-Arts at Monash University in 2019. Looking to team up with some housemates around the inner south east suburbs or north (Windsor, south Yarra, south Melbourne or Carlton, Brunswick, ascot vale etc) or Clayton area If that’s you feel free to message!
HELLOOO! We are Stace (27), Jazz (20) and Seb (22) from the UK on WHV’s. We all met travelling New Zealand and all ended up down unda! Getting a bit bored of hostel life, we’re looking to find an already existing share house or fellow flat-hunters we can share an entire place with. We’re all super friendly, tidy, considerate and up for a night out as well as food and netflix nights in. We all have part-time jobs at the moment but still actively searching for other opportunities. Hit us up if you think we’re cool! Cheers x
Hey! We are a couple Daniel (29) and Paloma (25) moving to Melbourne from Brisbane. We have been in Australia for almost 2 years now. We are super easy going, we love our own space but so happy to chat in the kitchen or hang out with a film. Im a chef working full-time as a Sous chef and my partner, Paloma, is an architect. We are very tidy and clean, we prefer a quiet place where we can chill and rest after a busy day. We don't have pets, but we love them. We don't like much to party and we don't smoke. We are pretty active, I enjoy going jobbing or swimming and Paloma loves to train most of the days after work. If you have any questions about us just contact us! Cheers!
Hey I’m Owen, I’m 27 and Canadian🇨🇦. I’m looking for a room in a in Prahran, Windsor, South Yarra, or St. Kilda (in that order too). I’m looking to pay around $215 weekly but could be flexible depending on the situation. I’m gay 🌈 (just a heads up if that matters to you 😂). I’m pretty clean and tidy. Otherwise, I like to have a cheeky bevie, but also like to chill and watch movies, etc. Also really into the outdoors - hiking, biking, walking, running, swimming, skiing, snowboarding, you name it. Send me a message if you think we’d be a good fit!
As a housemate I am chilled, respectful and enjoy my own space. I don’t mind socialising with housemates but most of the time will be doing my own thing. I’m not a neat freak but I do like things to be clean and tidy. I like to live in a house where it is taken care of. I have lived in various sharehouses in Melbourne over the last two years and I will soon return to study and work.
A lovely 2 bedroom place with good sized bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a sunny courtyard out the back. The house is super close to Chapel Street and all that it has to offer, on the Windsor/Prahran side, but you don't get any of the noise due to where we are. Close to trams and trains, you won't find it difficult to get around. The room can come unfurnished as shown in the pictures (but a wardrobe is included as that came with the property) or it is possible to have a bed frame and mattress put in for you if you would prefer some furnishings. The rest of the house has the essentials but any extra stuff to make it more homely, the more the merrier. The photos show the bedroom as it currently is with just the wardrobe but I have also added a photo of how my old housemate had the room so you can see what it looks like with stuff inside it. N/B The bond on flatmates only allowed me to put 4 weeks but it's actually $1450.
I am super friendly, really clean, super enjoy sleeping and eating. I am always down to have a chat and share a lovely meal. I work full time in a small accounting firm and afterwards I am a movie/tv show binger. I make MEAN BROWNIES and desserts. I come with a 11 month old kitten called Pancho, he believes he is a dog and I am not about to break his dreams haha He is super friendly, loves cuddles and is slowly learning how to play fetch. (toilet trained)
Hello! I'm Patricia (39), originally from Argentina, looking for a new place to call home here in Melbourne. A little bit about myself: I work full-time as a Case Manager in customer service for an IT firm and I also work as a freelance translator on the side. When it comes to hobbies, I love reading, watching Netflix and I also spend a fair bit of time playing the drums at my studio in Cheltenham. I absolutely love music and I do enjoy being out and about checking out the Melbourne music scene. I'm clean, tidy and quite experienced in house sharing. I'm looking for a quiet place with nice housemates. I like to chill in the evenings and I'm always up for a chat or a shared meal/drink with my housemates, though I appreciate my privacy too and will certainly respect yours. If you think we might get along, I look forward to hearing from you!
I am a 28 year old Irish female, living in Melbourne over 2 and a half years. I am looking to move in to a place within the next two weeks if I find the right place. I work long hours as a construction office manager so won't be in the house all day. I am very respectful of peoples space but would like somewhere that we could sit down and have dinner together or go for a coffee at the weekends.

Hi there my name is Russell! I'm 27 year old male currently living in St Kilda, Melbourne. I work full time as an engineer, generally I work 8 hour days but at times may work longer hours due to the nature of my work. Been in Melbourne for nearly 2 years now and have been renting in that time. About Me: I am a social being who also enjoys some down time (yes I can be a little introverted). As a housemate I'm friendly and approachable, I'm always up for making new friends and enjoying my weekends. I am also respectful and a vigilant with cleanliness and keeping a positive dynamic within the household. Pretty much if you are looking for a friend as well as a housemate I can be that guy! I do like the outdoors, I like group activities, I don't mind the occasional party/gathering or the night in watching Netflix and aspire to learn the Spanish language! If you are bilingual in Spanish and English you are already on top of my priority list. Special Needs: I do have a car, I do request that there is some space for me to park my car as I use it frequently which includes work. Preferably I would like a place with a decent bedroom, I also have some possessions such as appliances and tables/benches if required. If you have any questions feel free to ask Russell
