Main advantage for staying at Wolli Creek is that it's a major station with multiple train lines where all express trains will stop, therefore it's really easy to get to anywhere and there are trains stopping every 5mins or so. In Sydney some stations are called all stops and only have one train line, so sometimes if you miss a train you will need to wait between 15-30mins for the next train to stop. There is a community centre located outside the train station, it has basically everything, from restaurants to cafes, grocery stores, nail salons, gyms, barber, medical centre and even dental clinics as well. About 3mins walk from the community centre is the supermarket chain called Woolworths, it's huge and has all the fresh produces, food and etc. Apartment location: The apartment is very new, the building was only finished last year! Therefore it's located on the newest side of Wolli Creek, very safe and posh area right next to the water, even at night time there are still plenty of people around. If you come out of the apartment the train station is literally there within 2mins walk, the roads are flat and smooth therefore very easy to roll luggage around. Even though it's super close to the train station, my apartment is not noisy at all as it does not face the station and railway, but on the other side facing the water and park. Apartment facilities include gym and swimming pool, easily accessible with the keys. There is also a small park right next to the water and next to the apartment building, it has kids playground and BBQ. There is another larger park on the opposite side of water and about 5-10mins walk, that park is much bigger and you can enjoy doing some activities such as biking and jogging. Clean, tidy and mature creature. Always cleans up after himself. Also likes to take himself out for walks without a leash. Very independent. No need to be fed, pampered or cleaned ;-) I do muay thai weeknights so i'm hardly home to make a mess and out most weekends exploring. I find being active keeps my coat nice an shiny. BTW, i work full time in a corporate office near the airport on your regular ol' 9-5 or 8-4 hours depending on what the mood suits :)
