Our home is friendly and welcoming. We have a large block that borders a permanent creek and I'm working on finishing a strawbale outdoor kitchen. We like to gather for family dinners and playing cards and board games. The 'family' also includes a puppy and two chickens!

5 minutes walk from shops and the beach. On a busy road but has frontage onto the Penguin creek in the back garden. Two levels with flatmate's bedroom, bathroom and living area on the bottom floor. shared kitchen and my bedroom, bathroom and living area on the top floor. A quiet atmosphere and happy to have occasional dinners and gatherings. Would hope the flatmate entertains their guests in their own area downstairs.

Generally do more than my own share of the cleaning etc. and skilled in household maintenance n repairs. Prefer living with mature people and a mix of genders.
Hi there, I'm a Taiwanese. I'm easy going, friendly, independent, respectful people. *I am definitely a clean and tidy person.* (I can't stand the messy and dirty in residence, especially the toilet.) Looking for comfy room and housemates. I love art, film, music, reading and anything so touch, feelings of things. I love to record life with my film camera. I have interested in handmade things, indulged in pottery and collages recently. I like to try different interesting areas and challenges! (So I became a traveler)

Hola. I am Bhavin and I will be commencing my 2nd semester in UTAS. I have lived in houseshare before, so I am familiar with household chores. My mild OCD ensures that everything around me is neat and tidy. I can cook Indian cuisine (try to) so my roommates will be treated with tasty food. I am a vegetarian. Usually, I will be out in the evening playing soccer or going to trivia nights. During my free time, I like to explore Tassie. I am quite friendly but will respect others privacy. Can't wait to meet new people.

This house has lots of windows and gets a lot of sun. We have a tv and heaters in all the rooms, and the living room is large. There's a shed outside that you're welcome to store stuff in. It's a 10-15 minute walk to the university, and only about 5 minutes to a takeaway shop that has great chips.
A double room is available for rent $140 per week includes power and water. Internet $20 per month paid separately Included in rent: a cleaner comes in every 2-3 weeks to clean the common areas (kitchen, bathrooms). Inspection and meeting with landlord is required. 6 months' lease minimum. I apologise for the messy room. The room comes with a double bed, 2 matching cupboards, and 1 table (not shown in photo). This room will be cleaned before you take over.
Hello! Are you coming to Launceston for AMC/Uni mid 2019? Are you a student, studying the second semester in 2019 (room available AFTER June 2019) then we might be the home you are looking for during your studies! For students, the room rates are $150/week (I have two different homes, only one is featured here) and have different inclusions and as a student, there is no room sharing unless you are a couple. Contact me for couple rates. The home featured and pictured here is fondly called VB and it has been home to students from around the world for over 10 years...so you will be joining a family that spans the globe! Both homes have had similar history and have a wall of fame to join ;). When you see our VB kitchen wall.....you will see the variety of people who have shared this home with you - get your pic up on our wall and make history with us. We also share family dinners with our other share home family...so you will be part of a new network when you walk through our door. The home is two story, has a wonderful balcony overlooking a pretty garden, full of roses during summer, and looks out to the Tamar river, with the fabulous setting sun on a warm day. Each room in VB has in-room heating, all linen and bedding supplied - if you need it - with everything you would need for your study time here in Launceston and a fully equipped kitchen. What's included in both homes, if you are a student? Study desk/lamp/chair, and rooms have double or queen beds other than our fondly-called Sunroom. AND we are just under 2km from the AMC/Uni...people staying here have walked, ridden bikes or used their cars/caught the bus. There is a large wifi internet down-load you share with your housemates, and all the water and SOME of the power is included in your weekly rent. For VB, because your landlord lives-in, you get to have someone who keeps your toilet/bathroom clean and the common areas clean too...now that is fairly amazing ;). Clothes and dish detergent and toilet paper is also included. Most of the students who have stayed here have been PhD students, ocean or marine engineers, valuing the quiet space and ability to focus on getting their studies done vs dealing with share house politics which can happen in some homes. So, if you like space to enjoy your down time reading a book in the sun or watching a movie, AND a quiet environment to study, this is probably a great place for you. The home is a home for you while you are away from your own, with a great lounge that also overlooks the river and the sunny garden, with a large TV for times when you are over study and want to veg out. Fruit picking in the Launceston area during our summers? If you are planning ahead and looking for somewhere to stay during your November 2019 Working Holiday Visa work at local berry and fruit farms, we may be the home you are looking for. Remember, this is for the end of 2019. We are currently ONLY booking students/young professionals for the study year FROM June onwards. For the end of the 2019 year, get in touch and let's discuss what your $115/week shared room rent includes and how we have our summer share homes work. My other home is also a great space and somewhat larger - and there are rooms still available there too, for MID 2019 uni/AMC year. If we sound like the sort of place you would like to share with us, call us or drop Suz a line and we can see if we both have a fit. We can't wait to hear from you!
