My name is Adrian. I'm a very positive person who lives life as an optimist. Easy and friendly person to get a long with, who is clean and respectful of others. I have a ENFJ personality. I am open minded and non-religious but also not adverse to religion I work full time between Telstra and my own growing business. I'm looking for a share house where the tenants are social and friends. (basically I'm not looking for student accommodation) And provided I we all get along I won't have a reason to leave, so I can be a long term tenant for you. I love a clean house, I keep my room very tidy, I don't leave rubbish lying around or dishes stacked up on the sink either. I am a social person and love to hang out with my housemates after dinner a few nights a week. I have a sleeping pattern I like to stick to therefor I am usually in bed by 10:30pm so I'm quiet at night. I am happy to help around the house with chores. I have been living in share houses for the past 7 years so have heaps of experience with sharing a house with people. ** It is imperative that the property have NBN FTTP (Fiber To The Premise) as it is a requirement for my work. (My preferred locations are an indicator to what suburbs I know have NBN FTTP) ** I don't want to share a room with another flatmate.
We're on the hunt for a few amazing humans to team up with to share life, food and laughter in the north/west/north-western suburbs of Melbourne. Hoping to kick off a new lease any time from July 8 onwards. ABOUT US: Mischa (hubby) is 26 and is an Air Traffic Controller at Tulla airport. He reads economics and finance books for fun and he can have a conversation with anybody about anything. So he's the brains of this operation! I'm Naomi, 23, in transition right now between work and study. I've been an early childhood educator but I’m now returning to my life-long dream: to study everything humanities at university. So I'll be studying full time as of this coming semester. I'm also a writer. And I love cooking and hosting big, messy, delicious, happy dinners for everybody. We’ve been married 3 ½ years and have no kids or pets. We've been sharehousing for 2+ years. We have rental references available. We like to be friends with our housemates, not just strangers sharing a house! That being said, we need our privacy and down time as much as anyone, and respect others' space. We don't own a TV. You are welcome to bring one with you, but please don't be one of those people who has it turned on all the time (even if it is on mute). That's a deal breaker for us! ABOUT THE (theoretical, not-yet-existent) HOUSE: This is a house where... … everyone works together to foster a friendly, honest, open, supportive culture ...you can invite friends over for a meal or a beer, but in a way that respects other's needs. (If you know another housemate is doing 6am shifts all week, it wouldn't be fair to have people over partying until midnight.) ...housies know a bit about each other's lives and what others are working through, or towards, and are there to provide friendship and conversation when somebody needs to vent or laugh or brainstorm …you feel free to go into hibernation mode and escape from the world and housemates when you need private down time, and the other housemates respect that ...everyone pitches in in equal amounts to maintain the house to a standard that makes living there a pleasant experience for all. That means being willing to clean the bathroom, or take out the bins or wash those few extra dishes that aren't yours. ABOUT YOU: - Australian citizen or permanent resident (for rent contract security) - At least 2 rental references - Looking for a minimum 6-month lease - Employed with a reliable income - Absolutely non-smoker and no illicit drugs - Reliable rent payer - Interested in building into the culture of the house Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to catch up for a cuppa and a chat! EDIT TO ADD: We think we might have just found our dream house. SO. MANY. BEDROOMS. Applications aren't open yet, but we are ready to pounce! Get in touch if you want to live in an INCREDIBLE house in Maidstone, just a few minutes' bus ride from the train station which is 20 minutes into the city!
Hey guys, I'm Mick. I'm 28. I just started a new full time retail job in South Melb. I'm pretty laid back and like to think I can get along with pretty much anyone. I play bass in a band, but noise won't be in an issue. I clean up after myself and am happy to help out with cooking and general house duties. Not a massive 'partier' - my social outings these days usually revolve around going to catch live music/bands. If there's any other questions, feel free to get in touch. Cheers!
I am looking for a furnished room in a share house to call home for 3 months while on FIFO in Melbourne. I am a Brisbane based engagement consultant and will be coming and going throughout my stay. Ideally I'd like to live with like-minded and easy going young professionals who don't mind a bit of banter and a beer. Good public transport connections to Footscray and the city are a must! Please note that the move date is an estimate.
Dearest potential roomy, I have a smallish room available for rent available (refer to pictures) in my house in Yarraville. The house features a medium/large sized kitchen (with dishwasher), living area, laundry (with washing machine), one bathroom, outside decking area, and space to park 2 cars, as well on on street parking. It is located in the fabulous Yarraville, 10-15 minute walk to Yarraville Village and Yarraville Train Station. Right next to the freeway and close to public transport (If you can't be bothered walking to the station, bus stop is about 200m away). I am a young professional male looking for someone fun, chilled and clean to live with. I am very easy going and am looking for someone who can add to the dynamic of the house, not just live in it. The house is large enough that you can be social when you like but also have your space and privacy when you need it. The room is furnished with a bed, desk, some storage and other basic essentials. Happy to assist where i can to sort stuff out. The rest of the house is fully furnished and yours to use as you wish! The room is $165pw ($715 per calendar month). I can disassemble the bed if you have your own as well. Room lease will be 3-6 months, but will likely be available for longer if things work out - happy to discuss! Bills are split evenly every month. Electricity is generally around $100-120pm ($35-$40pm each based on having 3 people in the house) There is no gas in the house which makes life easier :) Internet is split evenly as well ($70pm, so $23 pm each). Obviously, if there only two people living in the house for whatever reason, things are split in two :) All in all, (with 3 people) works out to about $15pw to cover everything. If this sounds up your alley please contact via the email form with your full name, describe a bit about yourself, any questions you may have, and remembering to include your mobile number and email address so I can contact you back to arrange a time to view the room! Oh yeah, i have an (extremely friendly) dog and a (typical lazy) cat as well so you'll need to be okay with animals! :D Any questions, just ask!
I work full time as a sex worker. Monday-Friday 10am-6pm in a brothel. I do not work from home. Looking for private rent/sublet only. Furnished, or at least just a bed. I am quiet and do my own thing but also happy to share a meal every now and then. Looking to live with open minded people. Must be close to a tram stop or train station. No buses.
I'm a web developer. Classic type ) - I'm quiet, friendly and respectful. A cultured, tidy and neat person. I like reading and like to watch movies. I also run in the morning. I do not smoke. And, try to lead a healthy lifestyle. I'm interested in the price of $ 180 inc. Any district near the metro (except Footscray and beyond).
Hi everyone, I'm heading off on an international adventure and am looking for someone to sub lease my room while i'm away (August 1st through to Jan 1st) we know it's early to begin looking but we really want to find the right fit. The room is ridiculously big with heaps of storage and comes furnished. Location. We are located a easy breezy 5-7minute walk to the heart of Yarraville AND Seddon which makes it very easy to grab any kind of public transport you may be after. Cost. $702.44pm and we split all bills three ways as they come.
Hi I'm Lina and I'm looking to relocate to the inner suburbs. Not too picky as to where as long as it's within walking distance to trains/trams and grocery shops. Somewhere nice to walk nearby (eg. park, river, beach) would be a bonus! I am currently working regular hours in admin, but will be a studying full-time at RMIT starting in July and hoping to make that a priority. I tend to hibernate in my room with books/movies/video games in my free time and prefer to take my socialising outside so I make a quiet housemate. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy a good chat or hanging out together now and then! I'm fond of art (both seeing and making), music (I've learned the value of headphones early on, don't worry) and animals (none of my own but if you've got them - fantastic!). I like to cook, but only have the motivation for it 2-3 times a week so I won't hog the kitchen too often. I'm neat, respectful of other people's things and personal space, pro-equal-distribution-of-chores and I've never been late on rent in my 5+ years of shared living. My move-in date is negotiable if I find a room/housemates I really like, but I do have to give a 1-months notice at my current place and paying 2 rents at once would really test my budget. Please let me know if you think you have a place for me :)
I'm pretty easy going and don't drink. Some trivia and dinner with the ladies is my idea of a night out these days. I like to maintain a clean house. Work in accounts CBD 9-5 and love a sleep in on a Saturday lol So the closer to the city the better however I am open to areas out west because I spend most weekends and weeknights there. Have been dieting for the last few weeks so prefer someone who isn't going to help drive me back into my old eating habits 😂🔫 I'm pretty sociable but enjoy my private space as well. Please note I can't move until end of August /September & would really prefer an ensuite or somewhere where I don't have to share a bathroom :) Not a fan of cats so I'm probably not the right housemate for you if you keep one indoors. I don't however mind dogs :)
I'm from Melbourne and am currently on a leave of absence from post grad studies while I replenish the bank balance...not sure when I'll return to the student life at this stage :-) I love discovering new music and listen to all sorts of genres - pop, rock, classical and just about everything in between. I also really enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and musing on life, the universe and everything. I am a total nerd for all things to do with science, history and politics. I'm an easy going housemate and really enjoy living in a relaxed environment with people who I can share the odd wine and plenty of laughs with. I want to find a place which I can call home!
Hi, we are a young outgoing couple who have recently moved to Melbourne. We will always respect another persons' privacy and the way they choose to live. We enjoy nights out as well as staying in and take a very laid back approach to life. We love to cook and are very clean and tidy people. I work full time and my girlfriend works part time. We moved here from the Philippines where my girlfriend is from and I am from the UK. Please feel free to contact us if you like. Thanks
Hey Guys, I'm looking for somewhere where I can set up shop with some rad individuals hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. Originating from Brisbane I am a pretty chilled out guy, big pet lover (with no pets) house trained so you can expect all the good stuff of a quality housemate, Rugby fella with the addition of occasional sporadic furniture making, Friday afternoon drinks and my complied list of the best beer and burger combos in Melbourne (subjectively opinionated) Currently working in fire prevention (Mon-Fri) while looking to further within the industry. I am always down for a hang and will often grab my camera and go on an adventure until I get lost But eventually find myself back home with some pretty wicked stories. I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit :) Otherwise good luck with the hunt!
Hello potential housemates, I'm Rob study construction management at RMIT and work in construction company in docklands Monday to Friday. I'm mostly occupied on the weekends with my uncles restaurant as I help out. I try to stay fit and go to gym after work (but sometimes too tired to go. So if you're active that'll be extra motivation). I'm not a party animal. Just the occasional drink with work mates (and maybe potential house mates). And yeah. That's about it.
**Please no messages from people who are renting rooms like cattle. Also don't waste our time with rooms that are way over my budget. $165 is an inclusive number. I might go a few bucks higher if i got everything i asked for. But $200+ i can get my own place.*** Hi there, I work at Crown Casino and am Permanent Part-Time for 6.5yrs. I do shift hours, so it's 2mnth of Days (12midday-8pm generally) then 2mnth of Nights (8pm - 4am generally). As I work these hours, I enjoy some gaming, and love watching movies and TV. I'm very easy to get along with, and I'm not too fussed about anyone's lifestyles. I am allergic to pets. I love animals, but things with fur make me sneezy. I cleanup after myself, but I can't do gardening due to allergies (I'm happy to help pay for cleaners or Gardeners..or some similar arrangement). I'm very sociable, and its a rare person whom I can't get along with. My hobbies include Music Production (I have the whole setup and would love to help someone). Acting (I spent many years pursuing the dream then got a little disheartened, but hoping to re-enter). Online Gaming (I only play Battlefield..not a pro). I love long chats, especially when a few drinks are involved, and I love a good Barbie. The reason for moving is the house I've been in for over 8yrs, is being taken off the rental market as the owner is having a divorce and needs to move back in. WHY YOU WANT ME: 1/ Pay on Time. 2/ Steady Employment. 3/ No Criminal record (can't have my job with one) 4/ You will have a lot of freedom to live your life without having to ask if I'm OK with it (IE: weekend drinks with friends...etc) 5/ Tidy and space efficient 6/ GREAT listener. 7/ Funny 8/ Reliable and friendly. 9/ Non-Passive Aggressive. I won't leave notes or bs that makes you feel uncomfortable. I'll just politely say something to you if something bothers me, and try and work out a solution, and I hope for the same. 10/ Damn...I'm struggling now, but i cant leave it at 9 can I hahaha...OH, I always put the Toilet seat DOWN (spent 8yrs with 2 women, and I'm well trained. YEAH pulled that one out at the last minute...hehehe) WHAT I WANT: 1/ No shared walls (as in non-brick)...If I have to play games or watch things in my room while you sleep, that's fine...but I need to use VOIP. 2/ Ideally a car park space. Also in my dream world, a lock-up Garage (in case I don't sell my Old Bedford Van that was being restored). 3/ Social people. The reason I'm not just getting my own place, is I don't really want to be alone (sounds needy, I'm not hahaha). I like people who want to go have a drink, a meal, or maybe play some Poker (I even have a couple of poker tables and chips). 4/ INTERNET!!! OK, so if it's included in bills but isn't awesome then I would want to upgrade to my current standard (I'm happy to cover excess if price posses an issue) OR a separate connection. I'm even OK with being the provider, but good internet is a must have for me... Mostly because when you're home awake at 4am, and everyone is asleep, the internet is your best friend hahaha. 5/ No spelling Nazi's ;) 6/ I'd love to live with creative people who may work in those fields. I'd love to have a go at stand-up, and as I said, I'd like to get back into acting. (obviously these are just wants..not T&C's lol) 7/ Room Big enough for a King size Mattress and a desk. Anyhow....I'm short of time, so don't really have any focus on TeamUps, but if you have found a place..and think I'm perfect, please contact me. 8/ I am open to anywhere from 3 months up to 1yr. I've paid for Full Membership because I am serious. I also check several times a day. Cheers. Kirk (P.S: Suburbs are open, but just surrounding. I want to be able to get to CROWN, leaving at 6pm on a Saturday night, by 7pm. (via my new Car :D ) (P.S.S: Outside Smoker ONLY. ) (P.S.S.S: I'm pretty sure I still have the Mexican hat, and I am even willing to give that to the winner of what is the game of "Help me not be homeless" game hahaha...
Hi! My name is Alec. I'm sociable but I'm not looking for a party house. I'm also super clean, tidy and reliable financially. I work in the health industry 4 days p/wk & I'm also doing postgraduate studies @ VU. Sound good? Then please do not hesitate to msg me, and I will respond as soon as I am able to. Thank You...
Hi guys! I'm an easygoing, friendly Aussie chick from the western suburbs looking to move a little closer to the action! I get to the gym often, do some kickboxing, yoga, pilates etc, pretty passionate about nutrition and health so i'm looking into studying next year for a career change. I love cooking but I'm the first to admit, I'm not the next masterchef! :P I'm looking for a chilled place to call home, with social housemates but respectful of space too. Just someone to have a drink and a chat with occasionally. I work the afternoon shift in a warehouse, so i'm more likely to be home during the day than the evening.
I’m a 21-year-old student from Gothenburg, Sweden, going on exchange in Melbourne where I will study on Victoria University for a semester. I would describe myself as an easy going and responsible person and spends a lot of my time listening to music and expands my knowledge in graphic design.
Hi my name is Gum and I'm a Full Time Youth Worker. I'm 24 years old and easy to get along with. I'm a people's person and can get along with anyone. I'm an extremely clean person and thrive on respecting others. I love to have fun and usually spend my weekends out with mates. I'm very independent but still very sociable.
