My name is Alexandre. Me and my girlfriend (Paula) are looking for a place to share for at least three months in Melbourne (it can be extended). We have been dating for a long time and we are friendly and tidy! We like our privacy but we also like to hang out sometimes, drink some good beer/wine listen to music, go to bars etc. We will be working full and part time/studying.
*ideal for a couple* Just a ten minute walk from Yarraville Station and a quick 15 minute drive from the CBD, our spacious two-story home is the perfect share house. Located on the first floor, your master room features a substantial three door wardrobe, modern hardwood floor and a great sized ensuite. As the only bedroom on the ground floor, the space is private and perfect for anyone. Your two house mates live upstairs (we have our own bathroom) and share the communal lounge, dining, kitchen, and laundry areas (fully furnished) - all which get great natural light. A central heating/cooling system is installed throughout the house and the kitchen features a gas stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, and all the trimmings. The courtyard is great in summer and is flanked by a shed and outdoor clothesline, plus a garage for extra storage (if required).
My name is Julius, I have a stable full-time job in the cbd. I’m 21, gay, and currently living in a share house and have been since I was 18, so I am very conscious of respecting people’s space, household rules, and keeping neat and tidy. I’m not a party animal, but do enjoy being social and having the occasional drink or 3. Available to move in ASAP.
Born in Liverpool, England. Super chill and easy going. Clean and tidy. Love a good horror movie. Love writing and trying new things. Working as an apprentice painter, also work weekends doing my own painting jobs. Love a bit of banter 😊
About the house: 3 bedroom house, perfect location just a 5 minute walk to Yarraville Village (restaurants, bars, yoga studio, cinema, supermarket and Yarraville train station). 10- 15 minute drive to the CBD and just 4 train stops out of the city. House was recently renovated in 2015. Fully furnished except for bedroom. Unfortunately, we don’t have much storage so you won’t be able to store furniture on the premises. 1 bathroom with separate toilet located at back of the house. Parking available on the street. Reasonable sized concrete backyard with a few trees and a washing line. About the room: Back right room available (see map). No built-in wardrobe but fits a free standing wardrobe/wire rack. Lots of natural light.
Dearest potential roomy, I have a large room available for rent in my house in Yarraville. The house features a medium/large sized kitchen (with dishwasher, important! :) ), living area, laundry (with washing machine), one bathroom, outside decking area, and space to park 2 cars, as well on on street parking. It is located in the fabulous Yarraville, 15 minute walk to Yarraville Village and Yarraville Train Station. Right next to the freeway and close to public transport (If you can't be bothered walking to the station, bus stop is about 200m away, and takes about 5 mins to get to the station). I am a young professional male looking for someone fun, chilled and clean to live with. I am very easy going and am looking for someone who can add to the dynamic of the house, not just live in it. The house is large enough that you can be social when you like but also have your space and privacy when you need it. No cleaning rosters or anything weird like that, just operate off a basis of respect and understanding that certain areas are shared. I also share the house with Sigourney, who's awesome and just as chilled as I am. Sig works as a Physiotherapist in Richmond. The room is unfurnished so a bed and all your additional bric-a-brac will be required, but there is a free standing wardrobe (pictured) in the room which you can keep if you like. The rest of the house is fully furnished and yours to use! The room is $200pw, and I'm looking find someone long term ideally, but happy to discuss. Bills are split evenly every month. Electricity is generally around $120pm ($40pm each based on having 3 people in the house) There is no gas in the house which makes life easier :) Internet is split evenly as well ($70pm, so around $23 pm each). To make it simpler, $20pw on top of rent will generally cover all bills. If this sounds up your alley just drop me a line and we can go from there. If you'd like to know more about me or the house, just ask :) Oh yeah, i have an (extremely friendly) dog and a (typical lazy) cat as well so you'll need to be okay with animals! :D
This is a well lit Victoria terrace, with wooden flooboards and high ceilings. We have air con in the living room and a large kitchen great for entertaining. The house sits on a quiet street, but its a 5 min walk from Yarraville village, a 30 min walk to Footscray. In the car, its only a 15 min drive to the city, and a 20 min train to Flinders St. We're also close to a few bus routes that can take you further North. We're close to a few nice parks too. I'm offering 2 rooms, one sits at the front of the house with a big window looking out on the quiet street and plenty of room for a queen size bed and furniture. This is the more expensive room. The second is in fact a bungalow out the back, that actually comes with a studio space, which has some handy built in storage.

Hey there, I’m a professional guy who’s looking a good place for long term either short term on urgent basis. I am into outdoors, rd trips, exploring new things and places. I’ m always down for a good meal, cooking or TV/Netflix with housemates. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean after myself. I’m very respectful, reasonably private but social, always happy for a chat but not a party person. I come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. I want to have a nice cozy room and chill place to come home to each night. Happy to pay upfront rent for a good place. Don’t hesitate for further chat. Best regards,

I'm a easy going guy working in Port Melbourne as a Mechanical Engineer. Interested in automotive, video gaming, movies and tv and interesting conversation. I do enjoy a beer or two, do not smoke and do not have pets. I am mostly looking for someone to team for a newish townhouse/house around Yarraville, Kingsville, Spotswood or surrounding areas with preferably a lock-up double garage so I can tinker on my vehicles and have a safe place to park them (I have one car and one motorbike). A 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 garage would be perfect.
Extremely tidy and easy going. I am working full time and studying part time so I am quite busy but I am always up for a good cuppa and chat. Looking for a private room to stay for 3-6months with possible extension if it is a good fit. I have a car so will require parking on or off street.

Hi! I am a friendly, respectful, kind, considerate, warm, fun, communicative, genuine, honest and reliable person and am looking to share with others who are also. I have lots of house sharing experience. I’m easy going, flexible, clean and tidy and enjoy sharing. Most importantly, I seek mutually respectful and considerate shared-living relationships. I am respectful of other people’s needs, interests and privacy - appreciating both social and quiet times - and seek the same in return. I have a background in the arts, social work and am a human rights activist for refugees. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Currently, I work 4 days a week as well as on arts projects and events from time to time including art exhibitions and performing arts events. I am also a dancer, did contemporary in the past and have studied the Feldenkrais Method. Currently, I work in human rights - refugees. I’m an active and positive person, am interested in health and live on a plant-based diet. I go out Salsa and Latin dancing regularly and have a broad interest in ideas, music, culture, the arts, film, nature and the environment. Love to be near the sea, trees, parks and gardens and go for walks. Naturally more of a night owl than a rooster person. I respect other people’s schedules, activity, quiet, rest and sleep needs - as I would wish people to equally respect mine. Use headphones to be quiet at night or any other time working on laptop etc - flexible with functioning :-)
Hi, my name is Harry, I work full time in the IT industry and have a strong 6-year rental history. I am quiet, clean, considerate, and always pay rent and bills on time. My lease is up at my current place and I am looking for a quiet room within walking distance of a train station. I don't have pets (although I do love dogs), don't smoke, and will be away every other weekend visiting my partner in Geelong. I'm happy to live in a sociable house (I'm pretty keen on board games, have a bit of a collection going) but I am also happy to just be a peaceful cohabitant in a more private share house. I'm looking to move towards the end of November, however can potentially do earlier if I find the right place/teamup. Feel free to get in touch if you think I'd be a good fit.
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are
