I am a full time high school teacher who has recently moved to Melbourne from Queensland. I am clean, social and easy going. I am respectful of other peoples spaces because I would like them to be able to respect my but I enjoy a decent conversation and the ability relax in front of the television with a beverage every now and again. I am looking for people to live with who share similar qualities and who are willing to teach a new comer about this wonderful city.
Hola! I'm currently in Coburg, and am looking to move somewhere cheaper. I'm about to begin some FIFO work which means I'll be away for up to five weeks at a time, followed by two weeks rest, and so on. Whilst I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for a room I won't spend much time in, I want to continue to call Melbourne home, and want a comfortable haven to come back to. I'm pretty easy to get along with. Most people seem to think I'm a bit of a joker. I clean up after myself and in my spare time I like to relax with a good novel or jump on my pushie and breathe some fresh winter air whilst pumping some tunes. I'm also into camping, cooking, and don't mind a wee bush party every now and then. Cheers.
Great modern architecture-designed double-story townhouse near Yarraville Village and train station and next to Stony Creek Reserve with views of the Westgate Bridge and city. Your room is large and sunny with BIR, its own balcony and is right next to the bathroom (2nd downstairs). An awesome part of Inner Melbourne to live in with great cafe's, restaurants, cinema, boutiques, art and community. Netflix, free WiFi and fully-furnished (or bring your own)!
The flat is 5 minutes walk to Yarraville shops and station, nearly halfway to Seddon in the inner west part of Melbourne The room is light and airy and currently empty. It also has a built in wardrobe and carpeted. The kitchen has a medium fridge microwave and gas/electric stove. There's a dishwasher, but I never use it. The bathroom has a 3/4 bath and shower. The toilet is separate to the bathroom/laundry. The lounge is mostly bookshelves and is comfortable.
I have this lovely 8 year old dog,who is toilet trained and very quiet around the house. I love having a glass of wine and a good chat! I am from Germany and work as a dog walker 5 days a week, sometimes on the weekends.
I am a clean and tidy person. I am social but also enjoy a peaceful home. I love to cook and bake and will happily cook for friends and my flatmates. I enjoy Netflix and watching tv together. I work full time so I would like to come home to a quiet and clean home. During the weekends I am either visiting friends in the CBD or walking around the neighbourhood. I love animals but do not have any of my own. I don't have a lot of stuff to provide for the house but I do have some nice kitchen gear. I have done share housing in the past and have always enjoyed my housemates and am still friends with most!
Hey there! My names Derek and I am hoping to be your next roommate! A few things about me: I'm Canadian, stereotypically nice, enjoys watching ice hockey and loves maple syrup. A few less stereotypical things: I work full time as a special needs teacher, like to play guitar, check out gigs/shows, study and perform improv in the city, and enjoy cooking (could be a great option for group hangs!). Also I enjoy a good hang out/drink, but am courteous of others space, cleanly, and will pay all bills on time! Let me know if you think you think I might fit the bill as a potential roommate!
I am an easy going 29 y.o. guy, I am pretty active and always on the go. I enjoy movies, the gym, travelling and hanging with mates. I am very respectful of others, very clean and tidy, I am not boring but not a party animal either. I work full-time Mon-Fri (Mechanical Engineer). I also enjoy making new friends. Looking to move in with roommates of similar age. I will be able to do inspections during the weekend as I am tied up with work during the week. Cheers...
Hey! We are Lydia and Sean, a couple looking to start a new place (a house of three or four) at the end of July. We're hoping for a house that allows some kind of studio space for art and music projects. Here's a bit about each of us: Lydia: At the moment I'm studying a masters while also managing a cafe full-time. I'm generally interested in painting, jazz, shit jokes, and cooking - I'll tend to fill up my spare time with these things. An ideal home for me includes a backyard (veggie patch?), a space to paint and play piano, and a kitchen big enough to cook with friends sometimes. Sean: I'm a full-time landscape architect, and casual folk musician. I'm hoping for a house somewhere leafy, but close enough to commute to the CBD. I will often be practicing music [quietly(sometimes)], going to see live music, visiting parks and planning music endeavours. Suburbs we're thinking of: Inner North (Brunswick, Northcote, Thornbury, Ascot Vale, Moonee Ponds) Inner West (Yarraville, Seddon, Footscray, North Melbourne) Ideally we'd like to pay less than 180 each per week, and are considering renting a second room/space within the dwelling for a study/music/art space. This could be a shared space amongst the household if you need a creative space too. We have plenty of furniture to begin the makings of a new house and can gather some essentials. We'd like a friendly and connected house dynamic, but one that upholds respect for personal possessions and spaces. We're both tidy and considerate, and intend for everyone we live with to feel very much at home. Can't wait to hear from you!
Recently relocated from Queensland to Melbourne for work. I am easy going, friendly and clean, looking for housemates with similar personalities. I work 5 days a week and i'm looking for somewhere I can chill out, relax and cook on weeknights. Weekends I will mostly spend out exploring Melbourne. I'm always up for a chat or a movie, but I will mostly keep to myself. Looking for accommodation until 31 Dec 2018. Room must be fully furnished. Prefer female housemates, and someone comfortable with my boyfriend staying 2 weekends in the 6 month period. Please note my move in date is 29-30 June 2018.
Dearest potential roomy, I have a smallish room available for rent available (refer to pictures) in my house in Yarraville. The house features a medium/large sized kitchen (with dishwasher), living area, laundry (with washing machine), one bathroom, outside decking area, and space to park 2 cars, as well on on street parking. It is located in the fabulous Yarraville, 10-15 minute walk to Yarraville Village and Yarraville Train Station. Right next to the freeway and close to public transport (If you can't be bothered walking to the station, bus stop is about 200m away). I am a young professional male looking for someone fun, chilled and semi responsible to live with. I am very easy going and am looking for someone who can add to the dynamic of the house, not just live in it. We don't have cleaning rosters or anything weird, just operate on a basis of respect and understanding that some areas are shared. Unfortunately due to the size of the house, we can't accept couples; the house just isn't designed for 4 people, 3 is comfortable :) I currently share the house with Karolina, who is from Poland, but has been here 9 years so she's pretty much Australian :) Her dog Sparrow who is a Jack Russell x Terrier of some sort, he's very sweet, my dog Hamish (pictured, absolute legend), and my cat Tiffy (she's a cat). We are obviously very animal friendly, but we unforunately can't take on any other pets. The room is $160pw ($695 per calendar month). Both pics of the room are the same room, just what it's looked like at different stages. Room lease will be 3-6 months, but will likely be available for longer if things work out - happy to discuss! Bills are split evenly every month. Electricity is generally around $150pm ($50pm each based on having 3 people in the house). There is no gas in the house which makes life easier :) Internet is split evenly as well ($70pm, so $23 pm each). Obviously, if there only two people living in the house for whatever reason, things are split in two :) (this has only ever happened during transition with someone moving out/in), and water is about $200 every 3 months ($66pm, so about $20pm each). Put simply, works out to about $15-20pw to cover everything. If this sounds up your alley gimme a holla, just let me know a bit about yourself, and why you're so awesome, and we can arrange a time to come check the place out :) Any questions, just ask!!
Description: The room in question comes as a fully furnished space in a double storey share house with no other added costs. All bills ranging from Water to the fastest possible NBN internet is covered by us. Each room has heating and air conditioning automatically pre set and regulated. The house also has two living areas and two bathrooms. Location Details: The house is located 7 minutes from Yarraville Train Station with a direct 12 minute train to Southern Cross Train Station. Additionally the property is a two minute walk from the 223 and 472 Bus Stops which provide direct transport to Highpoint Shopping Center and Williamstown Beach respectively. In terms of more recreational and lifestyle information, the property is located a 10 minute walk from Coles and IGA Supermarkets with bakeries, fresh food grocers and delis located nearby. A 7 minute walk from Yarraville Village provides you access to a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and Yarraville's famous Sun Theatre. For more information or to book an inspection please contact:
I’m looking for someone to team up with and get a place together so that it feels like ours etc but happy to consider moving in to the right place as well. I’m very easy going and am also respectful, trustworthy, reliable, clean, always pay my rent and bills on time and would need someone with the same mindset. I’ve been sharing with 3 awesome people and while they don’t want me to leave it was only ever a short term stint for me while I house hunted after being transferred interstate for 12 months. If I can find the right person to get a place with - someone laid back with a good sense of humour who likes to have fun, is reliable and considerate with good vibes - that would be great otherwise I’ll get something myself. Only interested in people wanting to pay at least $300pw for something. If you don’t want to pay that much then it won’t work as we’d be looking for properties of differing calibre. That doesn’t mean we won’t find something great that happens to be less. In my spare time you’ll find me at the gym, out with friends, holed up in my room catching up on work / watching the tennis / mucking around on my phone or pottering around in the kitchen. I love to cook and like to eat healthily for the most part. Happy to eat together or do our own thing. I have some furniture, TVs / DVD recorders, white goods, kitchenware etc if we need it but it can all just as easily stay where it is - in storage at work. Flexible re suburbs and commencement or move in date - earlier or later is fine, happy to commence as soon as we find something. Also flexible re length of stay though an initial 3-6 months is the minimum needed for teaming up.
Friendly mother-bleep that works hard and makes sure that paying the rent is the first priority. I am social most of the time but I enjoy my space when I need it and can respect when others need it too. Can cook and keep the house tidy at the expense of my own bedroom usually. I love to have a laugh and I pretty much only talk in Rick and Morty references.
Hi this is Camilo, I’m from Colombia and I’m looking for a room. I’m a easy going person who likes to spend my time hanging out with my friends. I’m responsable, clean and tidy. I like to keep my environment clean, I work full time and study in the evenings therefore I’m not going to stay at home during the day. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello potential housemate! My names Bek ☺️ Looking for someone to take over my current roomies room as she's having to move back home... It's a Queen size room. The apartment is ground floor in a new complex only 150m from the main town centre of yarraville. If you're a foodie like me and love getting brunch on the weekend; then it's perfect. 😍😍😍 Train station is 2 stops from the city and there's also a bus stop out the front of the complex. $235 per week plus we split the bills. Option to have it furnished for extra $10p/w or unfurnished; up to you. Easy to get street parking. (Sorry, no couples)
Hi there! I'm a working professional currently serving in the Australian Army in North Queensland. I'm now in the process of transitioning out of the Force as I am taking up an opportunity to return to research in mental health at Victoria University (Footscray Park Campus). And so, I am looking for a place close to VU and/or surrounding suburbs. I would describe myself as a friendly, clean, respectful, and pensive person with a lot of experience living in share accommodation. I love travelling, painting, movies, reading, mindfulness, and sport among other things. I'm usually up for a drink, bite to eat, casual hangout, or if you're planning to travel overseas! Feel free to message me :)

I work full time as language assistant in a secondary college in the Western suburbs. I am looking for an accommodation for the next few months of my journey, during which I'd like to make new friends. I am very sociable and respectful, I am not looking for a party house but for a place where I can both enjoy my quiet own place and make new acquaintances.
