Hello new friends, I’m a 32 year old academic moving from Perth to Melbourne for a research job in early 2018. I’ll be working out in Ravenhall Prison, but I’d like to be based in north-ish Melbourne. Because I’ll be driving to work I’ll need an off-street car park. I’m looking to just share with one other person, maybe two (I’m past my share-house days) so I would be looking to share a rental with an existing renter/owner, or perhaps connect with someone who’s also in the process of looking for a rental. I come with two indoor-only cats, my 2ish year old ginger boys Billy and Bo. They are fantastic, quiet, clean cats and being indoor they never get into trouble (except for pushing objects off counters, obviously). I’ve heard it’s not as hard to find rentals that allow pets these days in Melbourne, so I hope that’s definitely true. I am a somewhat introverted person but not completely shy, and would like to have the company of a roommate but also the space to chill by myself when needed. I would prefer to live with people with the same outlook, having mutual respect for each other and our belongings and all those commonsense things. I am not crazy (in the murder sense), love 90s action movies, intelligent conversation, heavy music and consuming copious amounts of cheese. Definitely not a partyer, but not adverse to going out for fun-times/having the occasional shin dig at home. In fact, I probably need to do a little more of that, make some new Melbourne friends Ideally would get to know potentially roomies a little (over the net or however) before living together, feel free to contact me for questions or a chat.
We’re very relaxed and will 100% make payments. Luca won’t be staying every night. Looking for people with the same sort of mind state to live with. We’re both finishing vce year 12 next year so somewhere that isn’t stressful is a must. Looking for a place no further than 35 mins from the city.
Hello! I'm a Communication/Journalism student at RMIT (qualified to have good chats with housemates) and a pretty easy-going gal. I work part-time in admin and as a uni student magazine editor, which keeps me occupied during the week. Looking for a friendly sharehouse that's walking distance to speedy public transport (train preferred) that can get me to the CBD and Box Hill. Enjoy going to the gym, design, media, reading, nature (mostly in the form of picnics), going to gigs, having a boogie and bike-riding. After reading over that, I definitely need some new hobbies to spice up my flatmate profile. Would be overjoyed if there were some veg/vegans in the house, as I'm vegan. Fine with the room being furnished/unfurnished or having existing pets. Available to move in Dec 20 onwards or in Jan for an ongoing stay of 3 months or longer. Am flexible with the details, can even do a back bridge. I'm tidy and will definitely take part in keeping the house clean! Hoping to pay under $200pw in the suburbs/neighbouring suburbs listed on my profile. Let me know if you have a house that's a good fit! :)
Hi I'm Jen! A bit about me.. I'm 26, have lived in Melbourne Sydney and Ireland in various houses and know the value of a friendly happy home to come back to. I work as a lawyer in the CBD, I'm super animal obsessed, a bit of a secret hippy and on weekends I love going on road trips and adventures (most recently to a water park where my friends and I were the only non-children/ non-parents) My dates for moving are pretty flexible and I have all my own stuff. Please let me know if you'd like to know anything else, it'd be great to hear from you😊 Cheers, Jen
Hi there! My name is Amanda and I am an incoming study abroad student attending Victoria Uni from Feb 2018 - Nov 2018. I am currently in my third year here in California, US and have lived independently for three years. I am also currently a property manager in a home here with three other roommates so I am familiar with the process! I am looking for accommodations during my stay abroad. I am an avid yogi enthusiast and love being creative! Whether that be writing, photography, adventuring outdoors, you name it! I am incredibly organized and prefer to keep my spaces clean. I am quiet at times, but overall very kind and outgoing. Looking for roommates who are similar!
My name is Ella, I am working full time as a customer service representative in Docklands and a part time student studying Accounting in Kangan Institute / some subjects @ VU. I respect people's privacy, observe cleanliness, neat and approachable, also I mostly do my own thing.
Hard working couple, very proactive, respectful and easy-going people!
I recently moved back to Melbourne after a few years in Brisbane. I plan to study counselling in 2018. I am generally quiet, easygoing and respectful of others' space. I am a bit of a "neat-freak" so am more than happy to do my share of cleaning, etc. I don't mind a drink, enjoy a chat, cooking, eating out, listening to people's stories, playing the guitar, music generally, reading and am a keen runner.
Spanish 24 girl who is going to Australia to pass a year with a work and holiday visa. Kind, tidy, love to spend time withfriends and learn about new languages and cultures.
Pharmacist working office hours full time. Moving from Shepparton because I was too bored. So keen on having a room mate but also like privacy. I have an indoor pet bunny in a hatchet called Coco, she's cute as. I'm clean and tidy. I'm also outgoing and enjoy having a good time whether that be going out or just staying in and netflix. I have majority of my own furniture as well. So if someone wants to team-up I can provide all essentials for a nice home.
I’m full time employed fitter welder for Mercedes Benz commercial vehicles I’m friendly and sociable, I like a good night from time to time, enjoy nights in as well I’m open minded and honest, pretty handy with the tools so I can do home and some vehicle maintenance easily
Hello! I'll be moving down from Brisbane at the end of January for a graduate role in Marketing. I am easy going and very chatty. Always down for a Netflix binge, trying out a new brunch/dinner place, or just conversation over a glass of wine. I would ideally like to live with roomies who are friendly and sociable. That being said I also know to give you space as I need my time alone to recharge as well. I like to chill and unwind when I am home so definitely not looking for a party house. I'd love to create a home rather than just a house and would like to meet people who have the same mindset.
Hi lovely people! I'm looking for somewhere fun to stay for an indeterminate amount of time. For the right place, that may be a long time, hopefully with the option of subletting the room when I run off to europe or wherever else. Otherwise, short term works well. Ideal would be month to month. I've lived in everything from a tent in a backyard, a car, a shed, and a place flush with fancy modern amenities like dishwashers. More important is who lives there! About me: I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
Hey future housemate/s, What makes me great to live with? I love life and want to live it to the fullest! I’m extroverted and love getting to know people over a glass of rosé. I love to cook, the spicier the better😁 I also like to have down time and enjoy my own company. I take pride in keeping my room and common areas clean. I have also traveled to a few place, just got back from a tour of Europe. I’m currently working full time and will be starting a bachelor in nursing next year at St Albans VU. I’m looking for a room with a view(only joking)🤣 In all seriousness I would love to be apart of a diverse household who know how to have some fun. I need to be close to public transport as I don’t have a car and work late shifts frequently. Anyway enough about me. 🥂here’s to finding the perfect fit☺️ *****I’m keen on signing a lease agreement*****
I am Cristal, I am 23 years old. I work at a hospital and in my other time, I'm at uni trying to become a paramedic. I am terrible at about me's, but i promise i can provide good conversation and tell pointless stories at socially inappropriate times. I also speak fluent español!! (Classes available) I have been share housing for some years, and know the do's and dont's. That being said, i am a good wine drinking companion if your into that kind of thang. I just paid premium membership on flatmates, so you could say I'm pretty serious about finding a nice home. Message me, future housemateys!! I'm a better communicater in person than in the virtual world. Chau chau
Hi guys, im currently looking for a mid-sized room (to fit a bed, desk and some shelving) in share accomodation. I work full time as a barista and study pt a couple of evenings a week, so I keep myself pretty occupied. Im pretty quiet during my down time. If im not out with mates, im usually reading or relaxing with a beer and movie. I consider myself quite outgoing and social, but as I work in hospo I usually get it all out my system during the day so I'm not interested in bringing a party home with me. I've experienced sharehouse living before, so know how to wash my own dishes and scrub a toilet. As a bonus, I'm more than happy to make coffee for everyone :) Feel free to send me a msg! Sean.
Hi! I'm originally from India, but will be moving to Melbourne in Feb 2018 for a Masters program at the University of Melbourne. I'm tidy, respectful and reliable with payments. I am pretty social and would love to live in a house where I can hang out with my housemates. I enjoy soccer, gaming, binge-watching TV series and will always have time for a beer or two. I'm looking for a place preferably within a 8 mile radius from Unimelb.
Hey there! My name is Emilie, I'm a 23 year old Education student at VU. I'm from Perth, which is where I am currently living for the summer until returning to Melbourne on February 15th for the school year. I'll be looking for a place from that time until I graduate mid-December - but I am flexible on dates. I'm very clean and would prefer to live with other people of a similar mindset. I'm not into mid-week parties but am down for a beer or two on the weekends. I love animals so if you have pets I would love that, and am very easy-going and flexible with my diet - if it's a vegetarian/pescatarian house I'm happy to only cook those foods, and if you're meat eaters then I'm down for a big beef BBQ! Also, I will have a car so I'll need somewhere to park it. I don't mind if it's on-street, as long as I've always got somewhere for it. I'm pretty into my fitness (gym, swimming, running, climbing, netball), I like to cook healthy, I sing and play guitar once in a blue moon, I am very studious, and as next year is my final year of teaching, a lot of my time will be spent on placement, so Monday-Friday 8-5 kinda deal. I pay my rent/bills early every month and I'm sure we'll get along great! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you think I'd be a good fit for your home. Emilie
Hi there My name is Lucas, I'm a 29yo guy from Chile. I've been in Australia for almost two years, and right now I'm looking for a private room to stay 5 months. I'm very responsible, reliable, easy going and drama free guy . I'm a full time worker(6 days a week) and I study 2 days a week and I go to the gym almost every day so I get home usually after 9pm. I keep a busy schedule. I'm very clean and tidy =)
Hey guys, I'm an experienced sharehouser and 9-5 working graphic designer who's in need of rehoming... In less of a pet adoption way, and more of a "I've come back from overseas and need to set myself up again" kind of way. I'm looking for a sharehouse (existing or new) in the inner westside and would love to live in Yarraville, Flemington or Footscray. Open to most inner suburbs though... Richmond has always held a certain place in my heart. Looking to move before 8 January. Here's the lowdown on what I'm seeking: · A decent sized bedroom (shoebox bedrooms get me down) · Some kind of outdoor space (balconies work, courtyards are fantastical beasts, backyards are legend) · Sweeeet minimal / stylish interior design (clutter is not my pal, but I do love a good indoor plant) · Housemates who are clean and tidy and a schmidge house proud · Housemates who like bevvies, a boogey and occasional house parties but are equally courteous about noise and being pests · Being cool with friend(s) popping round occasionally (I'd hope you'll love my pals as much as I'll love your pals) · Paying things on time works well... Like you generally don't get kicked out that way which is tops · Gooood chats; D and Ms, small talk, work gossip, debriefs about that awkward Tinder date... Always down for an update, but equally like doing my own thing Think that's about it from me. If you're thinking "SHE'S THE ONE" or you have any questions, queries or comments, then shoot me a message. I'd love to hear from you!! Cheers, Kat
Hi! I’m Kat, currently studying a Masters at the University of Melbourne and working part-time. I’m pretty quiet and respectful of personal space and boundaries, but also down for low-key hangs like watching movies together and drinking tea in the same room. I’ve been living in Footscray for over two years now so I’m keen to stay in the west side, and would love to either join an existing share house or start a lease.
I'm 24 and am looking for a place somewhere near Laverton. Having graduated this year, I have found FT work (teaching) and need to move out as I currently live more than an hours drive from the school. I like to think of myself as relaxed and carefree but will obviously be diligent when it comes to paying bills and keeping the place in decent order. I enjoy my sports, playing music and reading. Ideally, I'd love to live with others who are preferably sociable but are similarly respectful of each other's private time.
Hi there future flattie! Originally from country NSW, I have been living in Melbourne for sometime now. I work full time in the city, in the health industry and am usually at work earlier in the morning. I do like to keep active; gym, beach, brunching and enjoying the colour of Melbourne. Weekends can often find me on a day trip to the country. But on the flip side, a cosy weekend afternoon with a book or a movie is just as welcome. Sharing a cheeky red or a summer cider over a chat or whilst cooking is a great way to finish a day. I have shared homes previously, so do appreciate the importance of open communication and respect for shared and personal space. Chilled, relaxed and looking forward to a place where we can enjoy each others company and our home.
