Hi, I am currently looking for a private room to stay from 7 Dec to 18 Dec 2016 (12 nights). Please message me if you are interested. Thanks. A little bit about me: I think everyone thinks themselves is easy-going and clean, so I will not emphasize that. I am a software developer working at an Internet startup in Melbourne. I love Japanese culture. I can speak Japanese and have traveled everywhere in Japan. I also like hiking and have a little bit experience in mountaineering.
Love sharing my cooking, finding new coffee spots and having the occasional wine/cider. Love reading, playing board games, having a good chat and going on day trips to the country. I like a healthy balance of exercising (gym, riding my bike, yoga) and binge watching tv series. The usual - pay bills on time, easy going, respectful, clean and tidy.
Hi! I'm moving closer to work in Parkville from Melbourne's eastern suburbs due to a job change and my current lease is ending. Looking for young professionals or postgraduate students to live with. I am a pretty busy person so most weeknights will be found at a Latin dance class, attempting to learn Spanish or hanging with friends. Otherwise I quite like cooking, hanging out and watching some Netflix with a drink or two. I'm a friendly, outgoing and clean person. Have lived in shared living arrangements for a while now and get how it works. if you want someone who not only lives and is up for a chat, I'm the person for you.
Hey! I'm a 32 - year old Finnish guy who's starting his psychology studies on February, 2017. I'm looking for a calm and clean living environment with flatmates who are considerate and respectful towards each other. On my free time I like to do a bit of cooking, working out in the gym, and mashing some yummy brunch into my face. When the weather isn't too cold, I like to sunbake at the beach.
I have a full time job as a brewer in Truganina so im looking for a place on the west side of the city. Just moved to Melbourne from Sydney for this job, currently subletting a mates place and am looking to get my own place after the xmas holidays. Im very relaxed, enjoy watching bad movies and the odd beer or whiskey at night.
Hi I'm Kelly, I was born and raised in Rome, Italy but I've been living here for the past 3 years. I work for a couple of catering companies in different venues throughout the city like Melbourne Museum, Crown, MCG and the MCEC. I'm also at my 3rd year of Business Leadership and Management. In my spare time, I love watching tv shows (I'm totally addicted!), going to concerts, read or just have fun with my friends. I'm not a heavy drinker, but I do enjoy a glass of wine or a couple of pints of beer. I don't smoke and I don't drink coffee, but I love to cook and eat good food (I'm Italian after all haha). I like footy even if I don't understand all the rules yet, I also love music and art. I speak Portuguese, Italian, English and Spanish. I'm looking for a private room in a quiet house with nice housemates that are happy to have a chat and enjoy some time together every now and then. As a housemate I consider myself to be very quiet, clean, neat and polite. Most of the times you won't even know I'm there! :)
Hi I'm Rob, a friendly and clean New Zealander, i've been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the sports and events industries, with a busy summer lined up. Also i'm going to be studying a few more courses part time next year just to keep myself busy. I like to eat fairly healthy and try to get out riding a few times a week. I've lived out of home for 6 years now, so i know how to be considerate of others and all the house basics like paying my bills on time and cleaning up after myself without being told. Love animal's so that would be a bonus if you had any :) Prefer non smokers
Hi there, my name is Gemma and I am 25. I study full time (completing my Masters) and I work every other day so I am not around very much. Every evening I am at the gym so I am someone who really enjoys taking care of myself, but I do also love to have a lazy weekend and sit around and watch movies and eat chocolate. I have a small (but fat) dog named Gus. He is a pugalier and has to come wherever I go. He is very affectionate and will love anyone. I'm good to live with as I respect people's privacy but I am also fun to be around and easy to chat to.
A professional, happy, friendly and kind personality who enjoys intelligent conversation and spending time outdoors. I am respectful of personal space and like to live in a clean and tidy environment. Always striving for holistic health, love listening to entrepreneurial/business podcasts, and making the most of life.
Hello future housemates my name is Maria just currently finished my diploma in beauty therapy and now currently working for Endota. I am a very social person love the company of people but I do understand people need there space to chill and relax by them selfs. Hobbie include taking photos, shopping, hanging out with friends and of course going out to eat. Love a good burger or pizza ! I occasionally like to go for a good walk or do some exercising to stay healthy. Just want to live closer to the city because I am finding it hard traveling to get to work from where I am livin at the moment. I am working almost full time hours so won't be home during the day unless I have a day off. I am just looking for a place where I can get along with my housemates.
Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
Please don't be put off by my young age, I'm very mature. I work full time as a web developer and designer. I am very active in Melbourne's tech startup space and hope to start my own business soon in the finance space. I like to work hard and embrace all that life has to offer. Although I am confident and ambitious, I am also a fairly quiet person, I have a deep respect for people's space and privacy. Looking for a really nice place, preferably an old terrace house (I have a thing for them). Feel free to get in contact if you think we would get along :)
Looking for someone to share a house/apartment with in Footscray or a close surrounding suburb from Mid January onwards. I'm a fun, easy going relaxed guy who's easy to get along with. I'm recovering from a knee reconstruction, but besides that I'm a very active outgoing person. I'm very respectful of others and their privacy to though. I'll be studying full time at Victoria University in Footscray which kicks off mid February. I'd love to move in with people around my age, but hope to hear from anyone who has a room available around this time. Cheers
I'm a PhD student at University of Melbourne. I am from Colombia and have spent my last five years living in different places abroad, the last two living here in Australia. I'm really laid back, easy to talk with. I'm tidy and clean or at least try to keep things like that. I want flatmates to socialise with but also keep each other privacy. During my free time, I like to watch TV/movies, explore the city, go out with friends, try restaurants.
Hey! My name is Kevin and I will be moving to Melbourne in mid January. I'm from bayside Brisbane but spent the last three years in Canberra studying. I've lived with others since I moved to Canberra so I'm pretty good when it comes to communal living and stuff (I won't steal your pizza from the fridge). Ive shared houses with both guys and gals as well. I have a job already sorted so bills won't ever be a 'next week' issue. I'm super friendly as well and enjoy most things fun in life! I love watching movies, snowboarding, surfing, playing soccer and Im a very well travelled person (will be in Austria in December). My ideal flatmates are people that I could socialise with. I'll be busy at work most days of the week and most of you would be too but I'd hate to live with people I couldn't even say hi to or share a movie with. I'd say I care more about who I'm house sharing with than what the house is like. Would love to have a dog so if you already have one I'll treat it like one of us. Also cool to start our own houseshare. Just realised you cant even message anyone on here without having to pay. Feel free to shoot me a message on waterfordwest08 google mail
Housemate wanted for amazing yarraville home. We have a massive backyard and front porch. There's also spare shared music room/study. Rent is $850pm plus bills and bond. The house is a 5 minute walk to seddon station and a 10 minute walk to yaraville and seddon shops.
We have a room available in our Yarraville house. The room is partly furnished with a tall boy and free standing mirror but these can be removed if you do not require them. The dimensions of the room are 3.3 x 2.4m and realistically would only fit a double sized bed, or queen without bed frame. The house has wicked fast NBN internet. We have a little veggie patch and compost heap and would be delighted if our new housemate also wanted to garden with us. The house is a 10 minute walk to Yarraville Station, and a 15 minute train ride into Flinders Street Station. The house is also very close Yaraville Village which has plenty of cafes and restraunts and the Sun Theater. Coles is a 5 minute walk away as well as the Footscray market being close by. We don’t have any off street parking but a permit to park on the street can be applied for easily. Ideally we are looking for someone to go onto another year long lease with bond being $608 (paying out our previous housemate), however we are open to negotiation on length of stay. Bills are split evenly between housemates, these include Gas, Water, Electricity. You will have access to wicked fast unlimited NBN Internet for the price of $30 per month. This is not a party house but we do enjoy movies, drink chats and hosting the occasional dinner or breakfast party. If you thought that Pauline Hanson was a good idea this probably isn't the house for you. You will be living with two other people: Anastassia works in theater and film as a set designer and Michael works full time and is a musician who can shred on guitar like a rock legend. Both of us work and would appreciate someone who is respectful of the sanctity of bedtime. that was the blurb i just re wrote amended below We have a room available in our Yarraville house. I am clean and tidy. Helpful around the house and a general pleasure to live with :) Looking for fully furnished room with a desk ideally, around $200 - 250, inclusive of bills and internet.
Hi I'm easy going and enjoy to relax by doing activities after work (run, gym etc) Enjoy a clean house as I am neat and tidy. Purely require accommodation more for work so I will not be there all the time. Most weekends I would go back to Geelong.
Greetings, the names Tayler, I'm currently from up northwest of Melbourne, approximately 50 minutes from the city. I'm looking for a place to stay closer to the CBD and to my uni (LaTrobe) to make life a little easier. I'm frequently appraised for having a mad sense of humour, whilst being extremely mature when necessary. While I do still live at home, I strive to pull my weight in regards to chores and other errands, and always clean up after myself. I also ride a motorcycle so parking is less of an issue for me (yay someone gets two parking places!) My main hobbies are; Video gaming. Motorcycling. Reading. And the occasional culinary experimentation (easy mac does not count.) I'm also a pretty big fan of board games. What I'm looking for; Like-minded individuals who also have strong senses of humour! Potential long-term living (more than a year) depending how things go A house equipped with NBN would be amazing *but it is not particularly a must* :) Hit me up if I fit your quota! I'm happy to answer any other questions you have to ask and would love to meet-and-greet!
Hi! i'm looking for a great roomie in the melb area of yarraville, seddon, abbotsford or richmond. I'm easy going, mature, quiet, open minded, and independent. Currently working part time, running my own small business and am planning on returning to study in March. I meditate everyday & spirituality is a big part of my life, I wouldn't call myself a new age hippie... although I dont consume meat or animal products. I would like to find someone to share with who's independent, mature, preferably doesn't eat meat also (although not a deal breaker) and open minded.
Hello future flatmates. M relatively new to Melbourne. Recently completed my graduation from the UK. Now I am a Real Estate Agent in Western Melbourne. I have lived in a share house before and know the do's and dont's quite well. You will find me clean and tidy. I respect ones personal space and love to socialise. Because I am new here I would want my flatmates to be good friends with me, not just filling empty space. I enjoy music, movies, tv series, bbq, cycling, long drives, traveling, walks, much more. For the next one year i'll be working part time and studying full time. My friends say I am nice to talk to, cool, outgoing, easily adjustable and kind at heart. There will be no issue regarding the rent and bill payments from my side. Feel free to contact me, lets see how it goes. Cheers.
You'll be sharing my three bedroom apartment with me and my son (10) who is with me part time. We're close to Yarraville Village, the train station, and the CBD - inner city Melbourne at its best! The Apartment Spacious and light filled, our apartment offers a large, open lounge room which flows into a functional, modern kitchen and a dining alcove which features a sofa bed offering another private sitting area. Shared upstairs bathroom with separate bath and shower, and a downstairs laundry and additional toilet off the connected garage area. Your room is on a mezzanine level which offers privacy from the main apartment. Enough room for a queen size bed and side tables, along with a small built in cupboard. About me I'm a tidy and respectful professional and I generally work fairly long hours in the city. When my son is with me we are fairly busy with school and weekend sport. Shoot me a message for more information.
Hi, I am a veterinary medicine student in my third year. I am looking for a place or a team up for 6 months minimum. I come with three pets (a cat, small dog and parrot). I also petsit, usually 1 or 2 small dogs (Only small dogs) or cats at a time. I do not look after animals that are not suitable for the house or that may annoy anybody within the house. I also have a household full of furniture, including fridge, washing machine, microwave, heaps of kitchen stuff, couches etc... I am a clean, quiet and happy person, who is looking for housemates/ a housemate that is/are similar. I am not looking for a house with heaps of people, but 1 or 2 housemates (or a couple). I would also love to team up and start a new house together! You must be clean and help with the household chores and not leave dirty dishes or clothes around in communal areas etc... other than that I am pretty laid back and enjoy a good chat. My university course is very full on, so during university semesters I am quite busy and so I am not interested in parties every weekend (unless it is a special occasion-->birthday for example). I am more fun during the holidays and up for more adventures and outings. I have a police check. If you have any questions please feel free to ask :)

Hey! My name is Jawin (Pronounced Jay-when). I'm originally from Sydney, but have called Melbourne home for the past five years. Ergo I know how to live with people, pay my bills on time and be clean and tidy. I'm currently studying a Masters of Laws; but when I'm not in class or hitting the books I son't mind a good chat, enjoying a drink or two, lounging around watching Netflix, etc etc. I have a bit of furniture and whitegoods (Fridge, washing machine, dryer) which I can bring along with me, however can just come with my bed and bags if there's nothing that's needed.
