I am a female 25 years old, working full time in marketing. I'm easy going, friendly and clean. I am well traveled, I lived in London most of last year and Sydney most of my life.' I enjoy socialising, traveling, weekend adventures and a good wine over dinner. Non-smoker, looking for similar flat mates to myself.
Hey guys! How are you doing? My name is Luis, I'm 26, Venezuelan, civil engineer, living in Melbourne for one year now, at the moment working mon-frid in the construction industry and studying a Diploma in Leadership two nights a week. I'm looking for a place to move in in about 3 weeks and I'm looking for something where I can socialize with the people that I'm living with, more than a place to only go to sleep and eat. This is something really important to me at the moment, I want to make some friends at home more than just live with some people that I'd never see. I'm pretty busy working and studying during the week, but I'd love to share time with the flatmates on the weekends over a meal, a party, some beers, a movie or whatever. I like to travel, hangout on weekends with the flatmates, enjoy a beer at home or whatever you plan. I'm open minded, always up to have a chat with the people that I'm living, easy going, clean and ordered (I like the places where everyone give a hand with the cleaning and housekeeping to keep the place clean and ordered as a home instead of a crazy dirty house). If I sound the kind of person you are looking for please send me a message or even if you'd like to know a bit more about me!
I'm a business owner, living with one person in a beautiful rrenovated house in yarraville , very close to the local village, shops, cafes, cinema, etc., centrally heated, and air conditioning in every room. The bedroom for rent is a good size, it has a queen size bed, and huge built in robes.TV and DVD player included in room NBN WIFI
Gorgeous little weatherboard home situated on a pretty tree-lined street, right around the corner from Yarravile Station, Sun Theatre and Yarraville's flourishing village (200 metre walk!). Easy access to public transport to and from the city, with only a 15 min trip to CBD. House has ducted central heating throughout, which was VERY comforting during winter. Air conditioning in living room, small private courtyard that I'm in the process of turning into something magic, with water feature. Private bedroom with Built- In -Robes. The second bedroom has a HUGE amount of storage (wish main bedroom did) and is also the access to the roof storage, so I'd love to still be able to have access to this, and to use a small portion of wardrobe for a linen closet still, or be able to work something out with you, as the rest of the house isn't huge on storage/shelving.
Looking for a place that is within walking distance to a train station (12min max) since I don't really want the hassle of owning a car. Hopefully, a shared house where people clean up their own mess as I make sure that I clean mine up. Currently working full time in the Western side of Melbourne. Outside of that I usually waste my time by going to the gym, city, and reading about useless stuff. Also willing to team up to find accommodation.
I am a full time student looking for a private room in a place with FEMALES only . I am 21 years old and I like to do some yoga, exercise , reading and cooking during my spare time. I am a clean and organised person and would only want to share with people that are the same and who don't smoke or drink . I have pet fish and I am out most of the time studying and hanging out with my friends.
Irish guy moving to Melbourne. Very easy going and clean. Looking for full time finance work. Outgoing, so normally not in the house too much, love meeting new people and I have never had any issues with prior room mates. I love cooking for myself and others, though i am not very good at it! Really approachable guy if you do have anything you need to say. Moving to a new city, open to meeting anyone! Feel free to get in touch
Work fulltime in mental health, study acting, write for Froth beer magazine and a few music journals. Pretty chilled, single, date women (homophobes prob not an ideal housemate haha!) Have shared custody over two dogs so need to be all good with the occasional puppy visit. Enjoy a good yarn over a beer/wine/gin/coffee but also can get pretty drained from my work hours so highly value alone time as well. Clean and tidy :) Do not smoke, not a house party-er.
Im am a 19yr old full time student, I am tidy and will keep to my self mostly. I am always up for a drink. I come with netflix and Stan
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. I've recently turned 30 and am looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and to relocate to Melbourne for work. Came to Melbs a while back for a holiday, fell in LOVE with it and didn't ever want to come back to Sydney - so now I'm trying to make that dream a reality. Currently I'm on Newstart allowance as a means of consistent income but please note this is absolutely temporary in terms of my long term financial position - I am only on this momentarily to cover my rent and bills while I make moves to relocate cities and secure full time employment. I will be obtaining a full time job as soon as I move to Melbourne and am already applying for a number of roles - it's just quite hard to do from interstate before you leave, most companies won't take your application seriously unless you're inquiring locally. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. I completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socialising with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling a bit hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself occasionally. Really not a precious princess about things and am not into passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's house needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a party animal, though I do enjoy having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking /when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always a bit better for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move by mid April or so / ASAP if I find something, got a flexible plane ticket booked ready to go - let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
I'm very easy to live with - have been living in a family of 6 all my life - I clean when I'm bored or annoyed or upset - I'm not home often, but when I am, I love to listen to music, read, watch movies - I am currently working 5 days a week as a nanny in the afternoons, and as a waitress at a cafe in the mornings a few times a week.
Hey, my name's Matt, I'm 23 years old and currently working full time in E- commerce for a clothing and footwear company (yes, that means I have the added bonus of cheap clothing and shoes hookups). I love catching up with friends, drinking too much coffee, eating too much food and doing audio production work. I'm all for having a few beers and a boogie, but also love quiet nights in. I spend a large part of my weekends Djing in restaurants, beer gardens and lane-ways, mostly playing lounge and funk music. I'm currently living in Northcote and completely in love with the north side of the city, however, open to other suburbs if the right fit comes along. I've lived in share-houses for the past 5 years and love living in a clean homely place. Would love to move in with people that will turn into good mates, with necessary banter. I'm always willing to do my fair share, can 100% guarantee that I will always pay the bills on time and know how to be respectful of peoples personal space. I can provide assorted household goods if anyone needs anything. Looking to move before the end of the month. I'd love a chance to meet or grab a coffee. Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions :)
Hi. I am Allicia. I am a social and bubbly housemate who always pays bills on time. I respect people's privacy, but also like to be friends with my housemates. I enjoy a glass or wine or beer, but prefer not to live in a party house. I am clean and tidy and have no problems sharing the household chores. I like movies and TV, reading and boats. I work in admin, 9-5, Monday to Friday. Budget is $200pw or $250 including bills. Need parking for 1 car. Doesn't matter if it is on or off street.
Will be working majority of the time. I have a 10 year old boy who would stay with me on my days off. I respect others privacy. Would like to team up in looking for a rental property.
Hey! I'm a more Dutch than German student coming to Melbourne for a sport-science internship at Victoria University. I've been dreaming about going to Australia since I was a little mud-child in the rainy Germany. I'm looking for a stay from September until January. I love traveling, baking, dancing and relaxing as well as chocolate. If you need a roommate easy to get along with - give me a call. Or first a message. Cheers!
Hi! i'm looking for place to with 1-2 awesome roomies in either yarraville or seddon, (no more than 8mins walk to a station), preferably a house, (not a tiny bedroom) with a little garden to call home. I'm easy going, mature, quiet (most of the time), open minded, and independent. Currently working part time, and running my own small business. I'm pretty much a junk food vegan who wont try to convert you or sit there and judge your food choices. Love to travel and will try my best to take short overseas adventures any chance I get (if my work and bank account will allow). Love memes! Happy to be a part of the house family but also enjoy my solitude and quietness, looking for others who do and feel the same. Love cleanliness in shared spaces! Don't mind a place with animal roomates. Looking to move in mid-late April. Please contact me to see if we'd make a nice fit. Cheers Lillian
A little about me? I suppose I should start with that I am studying nursing and work in the city. I keep pretty reasonable hours, but on the odd night that I'm the home late, I pride myself on my ninja like ability to sneak into the house and into bed without so much of creak of the floorboards (I've had housemates who were sadly lacking in this skill). I don't watch a huge amount of tv, so you'll have no arguments from me over the remote. Ohh I should mention I'm pretty good at calling out the answers on quiz shows (I get them right about half the time too!) I tend to do my own thing most of the time, as I'm flat out balancing uni, work and occasionally a social life. But like to have the occasional dinner with housemate.
Introverted, friendly, tidy. reliable, honest and open minded. I keep to myself, but enjoy a tea or beer every now and then. Quite flexible, no explicit needs. I enjoy discussion, creating and appreciating different kinds of music, Muay Thai, running, reading, anime, chess, playing cards, cigarettes and dumplings. Studying, working part time. Thankyou for your time, Olly
We are Eleni and Amelia, friends for 8 years now who met at uni studying Spanish. Looking to move the end of April (Last date to move 7 May). We are friendly types, love to share a joke and a meal and a housemate who won't live in their bedroom all of the time. We want a home that everyone is comfortable in and super importantly we want considerate housemates, and clean ones! We want to make a home not just a sharehouse. Between us we have a super affectionate cat and an entire house of furniture to contribute. Looking to move by May 7 into a new 3 or 4 person sharehouse around Footscray. If you are interested in applying for some houses with us let us know!
