I have lived in the Unit for 12 months by myself and am looking to save a bit of extra money by having a housemate. There is a second bedroom in the Unit that currently doesn't get used and this is what I am offering. It is on a separate mezzanine floor and has a fan. It has a brand new queen mattress that can be used also. I have furnished the rest of the place (tv, couch etc) and am happy for the housemate to use any other space in the Unit (besides my bedroom). I am generally a very clean person and would expect the same from my housemate. The place is nice and close to the main shopping centre in Yeppoon and only a 10-15 minute walk from the beach.

Close to town shopping centres, gyms supermarkets, walkways and parks our house is Peaceful, quite with a lot of space and friendly atmosphere. Your room has A/C and a ceiling fan and the bills will be split between the 4 of us.
Tranquil setting situated at the foothills of Mount Archer, within easy reach of all that Rockhampton has to offer. Either of two rooms are available for leasing, at one end of a rather large dwelling. Both rooms have access to their own bathrooms. One room directly to a bathroom shared with an adjoining spare bedroom, the room of which has no particular purpose. the other bedroom has access to a bathroom directly across a short hallway leading to one of the access doors to the study . Both rooms have sliding door access, either to the full house length front and back verandas, depending on which room is occupied, one has direct access to the pool area, the other the front veranda. The pool side verandah has shade in the morning, the street facing verandah has shade in the afternoon. When the air is still elsewhere in Rockhampton, a cool breeze can always be caught sitting in at least one of these verandahs, or under the pergola at the end of he pool. The pool area is secluded from neighbouring properties by virtue of the lay of the land and high fencing. At one end of the pool is a pergola area, with a table for setting of eight people. In this same area, additional seating is available for lazing by the pool and viewing the Berserker range in the distance. No barbecue is available, as the kitchen is in close proximity to this pergola area. All gardens on the property are maintained by the owner, and regular house cleaning services of the general living areas of the house is included in the rental price. The tenants will have full access to all areas of the house, excluding the other tenets and the owners own living space. The tenanted end of the house has it’s own access to the driveway, where with some coordination, off street parking is available for all. Three are two large linen cupboards adjacent to the bedrooms located in the hallway leading outside to the driveway. These cupboards are available for additional storage space if needed by the tenants. Both rooms are fully furnished, along with sheets, towels doonas and doona covers freely available. Both rooms are air conditioned, and have ceiling fans . One room has a smart TV installed, but free to air services are available anywhere in the house via the WIFI network and installed App. Netflix is available There is WIFI throughout the house (two WIFI hot spots at either end of the house) with internet access of 90Mbps download and 36Mbps upload. Security to the house is covered by two Ring Door Bells, one on the front door, and the other on the driveway door. Movement is recording at these locations (on an off site server) and notifies the house occupants of a movement event. If the door bell is pressed, the visitor can be responded to via the downloaded app. A bus stop for the Shopping Fair to Rockhampton CBD bus route is five minutes walk away, adjacent to the Frenchville Primary School. The Vince Lester Walk starts at the bottom of the street, comprising a five kilometre journey up and back along Frenchville Road. Be Hot Personal Training centre is situated a two minute walk away, on Frenchville Road. Yeppoon is an comfortable thirty minute drive away in one direction, and Emu Park is a picturesque forty minute drive away in the other direction. The Rockhampton CBD is a nine minute drive away, or a sixteen dollar Uber fare. Central Queensland University a six minute drive away, Rockhampton Base Hospital an eleven minute drive away, and the Rockhampton Airport is a twelve minute drive away. The owners master bedroom, bathroom and retreat area are at the opposite end of the house, and is completely private from the rest of the house. Prefer professional people leasing the rooms, employed by one of the government services. For example health, education, mean roads, utilities.
Kick back in the pool or get in a quick workout in the gym. Unlimited internet, Netflix, Stan, foxtel, ice machine that runs most afternoons, two extremely cute little puppy dogs to play with & of course our great company when we are home. We have one fridge for us and a second large fridge for two housemates to share. We have the same setup for the pantry. We are looking for a new female housemate who is working full time and also enjoys socializing at times but mostly keeps to themself. Please note this room is $150 without aircon and $170 with aircon. If you wish to use week on week off you can pay the lower price the week you are not using the aircon and higher when you are using it just to cover the cost.
