3d year full-time UQ student doing Education, night owl, not a party person, but board games and beer any day. No bad habits apart from sarcasm and sleeping till noon. Ok with pets and smokers, not ok with kids and people who don't know headphones exist. I have been living in share houses for the past three or so years so I know how to manage a bathroom cleaning roster and how to not accidentally eat housemates' food :)
Available after 29th October. This room is $125, exc electricity, water, gas, and unlimited ADSL2+ internet (bills split between all housem8s). The townhouse itself is new and in great condition. Lots of cookware and utensils are already provided! If you have any living furniture I am sure it would be welcome, as I will be taking my furniture with me. The bedroom itself features a spacious double mirrored robe with hanging space inside, a ceiling fan, ducted air conditioning, and two windows to allow natural light. I have a queensized bed in there, along with a desk, clothing rack, and bedside table. I've included a photo of my housemate Alison's room as a reference for the size until I can upload a photo of mine- hers is the smallest in the house. I've also uploaded a photo of the master bedroom bathroom as a reference for styling until I can upload one tonight - the shared bathroom is huge with a bathtub, a window that has a nice view of the city in the evenings and plenty of storage. Yeronga is ridiculously close to the city (5km), all while being a beautiful leafy, quiet suburb. We're right near the gorgeous Hyde Road park and Brisbane Corso (which is amazing for fun BBQs/picnics or a stroll at sunset). Shops just down the road and the train station is less than a 10 minute walk away. The lease is up on the 19th of January. You're welcome to move after this date if you need something shorter term or resign the lease with Alison, Amelia and Tyson (current housemates).
I'm on exchange from the US studying at UQ for a year, but my lease runs out this summer so I need a new place to stay for another 6 months! Things I enjoy include: swimming, bikes, wine, cooking, doing my dishes, paying rent on time, and also chocolate. Would love to meet some new flatmates as my current one is moving away :( I can move at any time but would prefer early Jan as I will be traveling and won't return until then. Please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
We are two friends in our mid-twenties (29 is still mid, right?!), both working full time and relocating from Central Queensland to Brisbane on January 3. Yvette works as a beauty therapist and Aly is in journalism and communications. We have a small dog, a 4-year-old Mini Dachshund named London, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for a third female to live with us in either a house or large townhouse in South Brisbane. The house will be fully furnished, except for your room. We are open to those who would like to be on the lease with us, or not. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working, health-conscious and sensible when we need to be. In our spare time we love getting outdoors; going to the beach, exercising and hanging out with friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time and is genuinely honest and considerate. Ideally, we would like to live with someone who also works full time. Oh, and you must love dogs (and let's be honest, he'd be upset if he knew we were referring to him as a dog)! It goes down in the DM's - message us for more info! :)
Hey, and welcome! I'm travelling overseas and am looking for someone to move into my room. This is an ideal student or worker's house, with very few distractions and a comfortable setup for any person. It's a modern spacious townhouse in a fantastic location; just 5 minutes' walk from Yeronga station (15 minutes to the city) and 105 bus route. Only 2 blocks from the Brisbane river, close to Pat Rafter Arena, a local supermarket, bottle shops, bakery and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Coles is 5 minutes down the road by car. The townhouse is in a quiet and friendly complex and has plenty of street parking. There is plenty of space in the room, which is offered as furnished with desk and shelving (bed not available). The large built-in provides plenty of storage in the room, and there is heaps of additional storage space in the unit. The open plan kitchen is well fitted out, with a gas stove, coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher. Large glass doors open to the front courtyard, which is perfect for catching a cool breeze on warm summer nights. Ducted airconditioning & heater, fans in each room with large windows which provide great air flow.
I am from Canada and will be a nursing student at University of Queensland starting in February. I love hanging out with friends and having an occasional drink. But I also need my quiet time for studies. I'm open to trying new things and love outdoor activities.
Hello, Looking for one new room mates to share my newly renovated home at Yeronga. Close to bus stops and cycling distance from UQ and only 5km to the Brisbane City. I work in aviation at Brisbane airport and am usually away 2 nights a week. I'm looking for some enthusiastic room mates who like to socialize and have some fun. If you have any questions just text me and we can catch up for a coffee.
Hello! I'll be moving out to UQ in February 2017, on my final year to study Computer Science. Looking for possible flatmate(s) that are amazing, outgoing and fun to live with. While not writing lines of code, I travel to places across the globe and wrote it on my blog. I am preferably looking for a private bedroom with shared/private bathroom. Mixed/all-female gender house.
A room in our Yeronga townhouse has just become available as one of our housemates is moving out. The house is a 5 minute walk to and from Yeronga train station, and also has multiple bus services nearby. There is a group of restaurants, bottle shops and convenience stores a 2 minute walk away and a large park 2 minutes in the opposite direction. As you can see in the photos it's a nice new place with the upstairs fully carpeted (except the bathrooms), and the downstairs tiled. We have a washing machine (which you can of course also use) and a close line. There is ducted air conditioning throughout the house, a dishwasher, and an outdoor courtyard with tables and chairs (refer to photo). The house is fully furnished except for the your room, but you can also bring some of your own furniture for the house if you would like. Your bedroom specifically is: fully carpeted, has a ceiling fan as well as the ducted air conditioning, two windows, and huge built in mirrored double sliding doors for your closet. You will be sharing a bathroom with a shower/tub with one housemate, as the other two are sharing their own. The lease ends in January, the real estate is attempting to sell the place for the end of the lease, but if they don't succeed, we do intend to re-sign. If the place is sold, we will likely move out as a group.
We are two students; Kate (nursing) & Ellie (psychology) who are looking to move out together (in seperate rooms). We are both easy going, fun and relaxed people who enjoy socialising but also respect the need for privacy and space to ourselves. We are neat, responsible girls who will strive to keep shared spaces clean and we are always willing to give a helping hand around the house. We both love art, brie and cheap wine and a quality banter - so if anyone shares these hobbies that's a bonus!
I'm a single 22/yo male I work full-time + have a weekend job back on the sunshine coast so I wont be home most weekends. I'm also a student, I don't smoke, I barely drink, and I'm very clean. I have a perfect rental history, I'm very social but also like my own time, and i'm a very organised person but with a very laidback personality. I love all animals and i'm also good with children. Looking for a long term stay (6months-2yrs depending on the situation). Need to find a place by the 30/10 :)
An expat recently returned to Oz, I am an easy going mature lady (non-smoker) seeking a furnished room in a clean apartment or house in Bne around Yeronga, Annerley, East Brisbane areas. I prefer an en-suite or own-use bathroom although this is not a killer. I will need accommodation from around end October / beginning November. I respect peoples' need for space and generally keep to myself, but I also enjoy a glass of red and a great conversation - so it would be great to find like minded flatties (male or female). I will need to be within easy walking distance of train and bus routes as I will not have a vehicle initially. Also very much hoping to find somewhere with reasonable access to a park for runs/walks. I am studying (USQ) but will also be job seeking (please note that I am self supported financially).

This unit can come with unfurnished or furnished options. $270 for 1 or $320for a couple. Pleases contact Tim for further information.
Will be new to Brisbane, working in Logan but keen to live on the south side of the city. Looking forward to coming home to relaxed environment. I lead a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy cooking (and eating!), reading, exercising and travelling. Keen to meet some like minded, interesting people. I'd prefer an ensuite/own bathroom
Don't let my age deter you.. I'm not your stereotypical, over 40's gal. I love being active and creating things, so very rarely will you see me slothed in front of the tv for example. I have a little pug and a cat who are very important to me, so I'm looking for a fenced property to move into with other people who love lots of cuddles (from them of course, not from me!) :D haha!! I much prefer hanging at home on my days off now, where I'm making my wooden projects, pottering around in the yard and doing the markets on the weekends. I survived my bender weekend Valley years.. *shudders at some memories/or lack thereof*.. and am happy to report, I made it out the other side where now the sounds of cruisy music, sipping chilled wine & getting a waft of the smells from a barbie, are so much more inviting than that 4am cold, soggy maccas meal that you can't even remember buying, let alone remember where you live and why you only have on one shoe!
The property is close to Yeronga train station and busses on Fairfield road. Short walk to Yeronga Village, Yeronga RSL and parks. It is 5kms to the CBD. Includes utilities ( with reasonable electricity usage) and internet. Rental based on 6 months lease.

Summary: Central location with excellent access to public transport, rent is all-inclusive and comes with free fudge! Ideal location for student accommodation: close to the city/shops and accessible to most Universities. The house is literally just down the street from the Yeronga train station - it takes maybe two minutes to walk there. Same goes for bus stops. Trains run to and from the city every 15 minutes during week days. Bus stop is even closer at Park Road opposite the Yeronga Primary School (but we all know how reliable buses are, am I right?). Rent covers all: $165/w accounts for all listed furniture and costs for electricity*, water*, cable TV and ADSL internet* (*to a certain limit shared by the household). Your (potential) room has a double bed (includes mattress and mattress protector), built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror, office desk and office chair. The house as a whole is kept secure, and very clean. It has a master key system - all bedrooms can be locked and are only accessible by the tenant in that particular bedroom. We all do our bit to keep the house as it is - neat, tidy and sanitary. Additional goodies include: Option for off street parking for 2 x cars Living area is air-conditioned We have a backyard! (With actual grass - and a hills hoist clothesline!) I make fudge! (And I always share it... mostly) About You: We're looking for a housemate who is considerate of those they live with, can clean up after themself and wouldn't mind occasionally taste-testing homemade fudge experiments
Hi everyone :) I'm a quiet person, looking for an animal friendly place. I usually keep to myself, but I'm not against socializing. I'm known be be rather silly! I'm into art and technology. I love computers and video games. Dressing up and going to geeky conventions. I like making things - drawing, painting, sewing, knitting or any other random crafty thing I can think up. Binge watching anything to do with sci-fi and/or fantasy. :P I'm pretty laid back, not really into parties etc. Don't mind a shared meal or a drink once in a while over some board games. :) I come with a Jack Russell, Buffy, who wants to be your best friend. She loves people and other animals. If you have kids, she will wear them out so they go down for a nap! Also in tow is my tortie kitty, Siggy. She wants the cuddles (and food). Both are well behaved snugglemonsters! But wait, there's more! I also work with a wildlife rescue group, which means I take care of cute little furballs with built in pockets! Yep, that's possums! I rescue/rehab/raise orphaned or injured little ones until they are ready for release. :) I will be attending uni in the new year, to become a zookeeper/animal attendant. Please don't let this deter your judgement. The're pretty amazing! :D They're rather clean animals, and also are very clever and full of personality! I know it's a lot to ask in this crazy world we live in, but I'd be super grateful if there was an area where I could set up 2 cages. Either on the veranda or perhaps under the house if it's a QLDer style home? Pretty please? :) In return I can take you to a place where you can cuddle with baby roos and wallabies! :D
Australian marine biologist 56 y.o and generally fun, fit and healthy. Easy housemate, good cook and relaxed personality. Away on the reef for field work about 1/3 of the time for 2 week stretches. I'm 47 & keep myself reasonably fit & healthy, I like the quiet life these days, so not looking for a party house, but I am sociable & also enjoy my own company at times. I enjoy a good laugh & once I get to know people you won't stop me talking about any rubbish that I can think of, so I like a good conversation, sometimes light-hearted & silly, other times in-depth! I am a tidy person & won't leave a mess & I respect other people's property & treat it like I would my own. I'm not interested in drugs, or sharing with anyone who uses them. I don't mind a few beers, or a glass of wine or two, nothing mad though. I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, walking, running, kayaking, mountain biking, photography and also a bit of an artist and I like a bbq every now & then. I think I'm a reasonably intelligent person and am educated to advanced diploma level. I'm looking to move into a shared house/flat/unit in Brisbane, having owned my own place in Murwillumbah, NSW, after a relationship split over 8 months ago. I'm also looking for somewhere that has space to keep my kayak & mountain bike, they weren't cheap, so I'd be looking to store in a garage or maybe secure under house storage, shed etc. I'm not looking for a short term stay. Wifi is a must!

Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent while I continue my study at Griffith Uni. I'm someone who enjoys having a chat in the kitchen, perhaps with a glass of wine so I want to move in with people I will get along with. I also enjoy my time alone so I am big on respecting each others spaces so don't worry about that :) I'm a tidy and relatively quiet person and I enjoy to bake occasionally. I do spend some time out of the house usually on weekends at my boyfriends place so I won't be home all the time. Mostly just looking for a household I can live comfortably in while I continue my university career :)
