Hello there! Here are a few quick points about me: • I will be working at the University of Queensland as a researcher/postdoc. • I work about 6 days a week • I have lived in shared houses most of my life in both the UK and Germany • Not much of a party animal, more into good wine, good food and an interesting conversation • I am an excellent cook with a repertoire that has been tried and tested succesfully in countless dinner dates over the years. • In terms of hobbies: I love chess and cycling and I plan to start going to the gym in a bit more regular basis. I also enjoy dancing and I have taken classes in salsa and hip hop over the years. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I am looking for: • Shared accommodation with one-two more people. • a neat tidy and organized property. • I would prefer to live in a non-smoking property, as it would help with my efforts of quitting smoking. • I love animals, so living with pets is not an issue. • My ideal flatmates would be the kind of people that I could share a glass of wine with, would be easy going, tidy and have sense of humor. • I am looking for a place I can call home, and ideally would like to stay there for up to 4,5 years. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I am currently in the UK, I will be looking for a videocall inspection so I can get a feeling for the property and we can see if we feel we would be a good fit. Thanks for taking the time to read my ad!
I'm a happy, easygoing person. I enjoy my own space, but also interacting with my flatmates. I have a wonderful tenterfield terrier x (v. similar to a jack russell) dog who adores people. I am looking for somewhere long term preferably whilst I complete my studies at UQ. I enjoy taking my dog Rocket for bushwalks, reading, Netflix, socializing, having a quiet drink now and then and gardening amongst other things. I am not looking to be screwed around. I have looked at a few places now and what people say on their profile and what's in actual fact has differed. So please be honest in your descriptions as I'm not after time wasters. I am not looking to share with other couples. Cheers, Laura.
I’m 25 years old and entering my third year of Physio at UQ. Currently looking for a place/room close to uni. I like a clean house and am very respectful of others and their space. I’m pretty easy going and always up for a chat as well as the occasional social drink every now and then. I enjoy watching and playing any sport and play in a few social teams throughout the week. I have a couple of jobs so between them and study, I keep myself busy. Flexible with the move in date, essentially anytime between now and uni sem starting.
Hi. I have just graduated from UQ and work in retail at the moment. I am looking to rent an ensuite room. Currently, I am looking for a two or three months lease with possible extension. I like to keep everything sparkling clean. So, would prefer a similar minded individuals. Thanks for your time.
I am looking for somewhere to move when my lease ends in June. I love to cook, neat and tidy and I enjoy hanging out with friends. I’m very respectful of people’s Privacy. I also work shift work so I’m up at odd hours but I always respect to those asleep.

Hi my name is Bailey, I'm 19 and Australian born and bred. I'm an aspiring musician looking to study music at Tafe. I play the drums and keyboard but have headphones and an electronic drum kit so noise is no worry. Im used to the sharehouse lifestyle, I mostly keep to myself but do enjoy being social once I get to know my roommates. In previous housing I have always paid rent on time and in full without problems and this will continue. I enjoy listening to music but am respectful of noise and others wishes.
My town house is at the back of a well looked after complex. It is in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. The house is furnished and has a patio in the back, green, private, with cloth lines. Kitchen and appliances are all modern and working well. Your bedroom has a double bed and a built in wardrobe. It is sunny and air conditioned. The main bathroom (bathtub, toilet) is beside your room and exclusively for your use. You are welcome to use the study nook. The rent includes unlimited download internet. Electricity and gas are to be paid separately, about $180 per quarter.
I am easy, outgoing, friendly and very responsible of my tasks around the house. I am looking for accommodation (single room preferably) rather close to the university. I am very flexible, and I can even live with Vegans and Vegetarians, and have no problems with noise at night. Currently I am studying Chemical and Food Engineering, at the University of Queensland, and I am about to start my second year in the upcoming month.
Hi, I'm Maddie! I work full time and a few side jobs, so I'm usually just home at night and on the weekend. In my down time, I like to cook, listen to music, have a drink (tea or G&T/wine, depends on the day) and watch TV. I'm a pretty quiet person but I'd love to find a flatmate/s who enjoys a Friday night movie/pizza night every so often or to hang out over a casual drink. I also have an Apple TV so I'd be happy to share that, which has access to Netflix, Stan, SBS on Demand etc. Not looking for a party house - I love sleep way too much! I'm looking for a house more than an apartment, because of the possibility of animals being around (major dog person). I also like doing a bit of gardening on the weekends, including growing herbs and veges, so it would be awesome if I could find space to do that. I have a small business making earrings, so do need a little bit of extra space for the desk that I use as my "studio"!

There's also lots of local shops just past the train station.(Pizza, noodles, subway, night owl, sushi, Indian, Thai. 7eleven, doctors, chemist, etc. Your housemates: My partner Ben and I both work from home, so we are around a lot. We value our space while working but also enjoy cooking and socialising in our downtime. We are polyamorous, and sometimes have our partners over to visit, because of this we are really looking for an open-minded, or at least an accepting, housemate. We are avid festival/doof attendees, sci-fi enthusiasts and omnivorous. Our preferred housemate: Must be able to pass TICA check (rental blacklist). We are looking for someone friendly and non-judgemental. You MUST be working or studying. We'd prefer female, but are flexible. Please message or text only :) Cheers, Maree
I'm a 20 year old student who is moving from Adelaide to Brisbane to study full-time at Griffith University and also work part-time. I love spending my spare time staying active by going for long beach walks or hitting the gym but I also like to chill at home, watching netflix with a glass of wine or two.
Hello, my name is Stine. I'm working part-time as a research assistant, as well as retail on the side. I enjoy my own space and also enjoy a chat over a relaxing tea or some wine. I am looking for my own place, or to move in with one person where we both can enjoy our chilled out space. I enjoy a quiet household and won't be listening to loud music or TV and hoping for the same in return. I am easy to get along with, open-minded and respectful of others. It's important to me to have a good connection with those I share a living space with, so I would like to meet you and sit down to have a chat, not just view the apartment. I enjoy meeting friends for coffee, wine or food, going for motorbike rides, walks, yoga and photography. I am generally quite active and spend a lot of time outside which is why it's important to me to have a nice and quiet home to be able to recharge.
I am 25 years old and I am currently a part-time postgrad student of ancient history and working part time. I am a clean and easy-going person and in my free time you'll generally find me in front of the computer watching movies and procrastinating on my study. I am looking for an unfurnished room that can fit my double bed and desk and am hoping to move sometime at the of January / beginning of Feb. Feel free to shoot me a message :)
Seeking an independent rental as soon as possible , weeks in advance to be payed upfront is an option . Full rental and employment references available upon request
I have lived out of home while I worked as an Au Pair overseas for 2 years. I'm moving to Brisbane from Central Queensland to study Interior Design at QUT. I'm a pretty great cook and like to keep organised. I also tend to switch between being introverted and extroverted so I'm either down to party or have chats or I'll be in my room watching Netflix.
Junior doctor working at the Logan Hospital in 2019 (6-12 month lease). Looking for a place in south Brisbane or along the BDVL/FGBN train line. I am very relaxed and easygoing. I have lived in multiple shared accomodation since medical school. I keep the shared areas clean and tidy and rarely cook (mostly takeouts). Not against the occasional drink or party but mostly quiet lifestyle. Enjoy tennis, hikes and going to the beach. Mixed descent, half New Zealander and half Chinese, fluent in Mandarin also.
I’m a 26 year old professional recruiter working full-time in Brisbane CBD. I’m an easy going, social and respectful person. Non-smoker but don’t mind if others are. I work pretty long hours but in my free time I enjoy getting outdoors, playing football, mountain climbing / hiking and spending most weekends of summer at the beach or travelling. I own a small dog (5kg) who is house trained but ideally would have a small yard to run around in the day time. I’m looking for a new place for at least 6-12 months (longer the better).
Hey! I work full time in the city and will be doing some full time study throughout this year as well. I like to spend my evenings either reading or watching Netflix, and I like to workout. I am a tidy and respectful roommate after likeminded people. I would be happy to stay longer than 6 months if I get along well with the people I am living with.
Easy going girl from Germany. I like to have a drink sometimes but Im not a party animal.
Hi! I'm Sumieka, a 19 year old student studying childcare full time at tafe. I'm neat, quiet and keep to myself most of the time but I'm always keen for movie nights, game nights or anything that might take your fancy. I love animals but don't own any and I'm a non smoker however smoking doesn't bother me :) Im orginally from a small town in northern NSW. I'm looking for anything preferably $13- $150 or max $175 if bill are included, don't mind sharing with males or females and I'd prefer to live with people under 30, but it's not a deal breaker. I don't own a car so parking is not needed. :)
