Clean, considerate, responsible, well-mannered, happy, healthy individual looking to SHARE a home with like-wise, like-minded, decent someone, preferably the home owner, with view to commiting to a lengthier stay.
Hey, I'm Lachy, chill guy who's a bit of an all-rounder in interests from sports to to video games, play AFL love music gigs. I work 2 jobs and train so usually busy away home a lot of the time. I'm a tidy person, having a clean place keeps me at ease and I am considerate of others time and space.
There are two rooms available. Both have own full ensuite and study built in. Brand new construction with modern finishing. Full kitchen and living room. Fully furnished common area supplied. Rooms can be furnished with double bed. Unlimited internet is included with the rent as well as all utilities. Stones throw away from yeronga train station in a quiet street close to the city.
The flat is 200m away from Yeronga Train Station and would suit people who rely on public transport. There's a Coles one stop away at Fairfield station or about a 5 minute drive away, there will also be an Aldi opening there within a month. There is also a 7/11, Dominos, Subway at the end of the street, this may be a good or bad thing for you. Noise isn't really an issue here since the walls are brick and it's very difficult for sound to pass through, noise only leaks through the doors if they're open. This block of units is very cat friendly but not suitable for a dog or other large pets, I have a big ginger boy already and I'm happy to have one more cat here if it gets approved. He's a very friendly boy, he mostly sleeps and eats a lot so he doesn't really mind other cats. If you have a pet I will feed your pets while you're gone as long as you can do the same. Or else happy to bump off a bit of rent for you to do that. One room is smaller with no built in closet space, it can fit a queen bed and a dresser but not a whole lot more than that. The other one is much bigger, built in closet with shelving, and a large window that goes across most of one wall. if you are a couple looking at this I would recommend the bigger room (which is currently mine) as it will be much more comfortable. I don't mind either one as I don't need to fit a ton of furniture. I don't have a fridge or washing machine right now as they belonged to my house mate, they are the main essentials I don't have but I do have a freezer
I’m 32 years old, work full time in the Media/Advertising industry (radio) and i have a beautiful 3 year old Staffy named Lola who is 100% house trained. She is an outside dog when I'm not home however she's inside with me when I'm home & sleeps in my room. I'm super easy going, clean and tidy and when I’m home it’s mostly spent in my bedroom watching Netflix/Stan/Foxtel with Lola or cooking. I’m all about keeping the chores of the house fair and I Always do my part. I'm not a party animal however I do like to have a few sneaky drinks.

Hi I’m Kaitlin! I’m a young uni student who also works nights bartending. I’m looking for a room within reasonable travelling distance to UQ. Im a positive and happy person who loveable having a chat but am also introverted and sometimes keep to myself. Looking for a place to stay until the end of the year, will likely extend staying time if I love the place.
My name is Monique and I’m 23. I love animals and have an outdoor bird and cat who are clean and friendly, so I am looking for a pet-friendly place. I am a non-smoker. I am reliable and usually quiet and keep to myself, so I won't be a problem. But I don't mind having a chat or being social once I get to know someone. I'm nice/friendly and very neat, I will always clean up after myself. I often spend my spare time enjoying some of my favourite tv shows/movies or going out somewhere with friends. I'm hoping to find a place soon and very close to Brisbane as I work 20-40 hours a week in south bank and often start at 5:30am.
Hey, I am Chi - Vietnamese, moving to Brisbane/Gold Coast in late October to start my Masters in International Tourism and Hospitality Management at Griffith University. I'm looking for a place to share with other people (I don't mind sharing an apartment with a male flatmate). I'm open minded, easy to be around, tidy and social. I love cooking, enjoy a night out but also down for a night in with Netflix. I prefer to share a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment with furnitures, and it'd be perfect if it suits you as well. I'm looking forward to having a chat with you :) Please contact me if you want to get to know more or you're having a place to share xx
Hi everyone. I am hoping to move to Brisbane from Newcastle in November for Uni at the beginning of next year. I am currently studying teaching here in Newcastle but will be transferring. I went to boarding school for 6 years and have lived out of home since finishing (5 years ago) so am very respectful of peoples personal space and belongings and keeping common areas neat and tidy. I am friendly and enjoy living with people who can be friends as well as house mates :) Looking to move in with people of similar age as I am going to be new to Brisbane and would love to make some friends. I am not a huge drinker anymore but don't mind a couple on days off work or study. Please let me know if you have a room available
Hi I’m Heather I’m 22 I currently work as a EWP designer full time and have been with the same company for the past 4 years. I’m super chill and easy going and clean up after myself in my free time I enjoy shopping, traveling and having a beer and remembering to go to the gym when I can. Looking for a laid back place! :)
Hi everyone! My name is Julia and I am from Belarus. I am an easy-going and friendly girl. I don't like mess and noise (party house is not for me). I would like to find a room for rent with friendly and nice housemates. I work full-time as an accountant and I also work as a hairdresser at home (few times a week). So I am looking for housemates who don't mind to see my customers sometimes at our place. I can consider any suburb not far away from the city.
I'm looking for a place Nov 2018 for 6 months to one year. Flexible on location: South Bank, Paddo, New Farm, etc. I'm a med student at UQ so gone during the day and studying at night but I'm social and very active. Would prefer my own bathroom and to live with professionals in their mid-20s/30s. Usually find my way to the coast on the weekend or doing something outside, love dogs and GoT.
Looking for a new place to live and some other awesome people to share a space with! I’m a young girl from the Sunshine Coast working as a barista/waitress in Yeronga, deferred from the university of Queensland for a break to work and travel. Love the beach, music, and fitness.
Hello! I'm moving to Brisbane early 2019 and would ideally like a home to rent close to South Brisbane. I'm a graduate, but will be studying and working part-time there. I love a clean, organised house and tend to get along with almost anyone. Thanks in advance~
Hi there! We’re looking for a female to join our 3 bedroom townhouse. The room up for grabs is $140/w and measures 3x3 (plus some more space next to the door and cupboard). It features a very high ceiling and door. The room has a nicely sized built in cupboard with mirrored doors. It also has two high windows to let in the beautiful natural sunlight. The room is unfurnished but the house has everything you'll need :). The townhouse is spacious and very modern. The property has one off street parking (excluding my car in the garage) and ample on street parking (with no parking limits). There’s a huge living area downstairs that’s great for entertaining. There’s a cute kitchen with a gas cooktop too! The kitchen features a brand new fridge that I purchased when my old one was 2cm too big for the gap (both happy and sad about that). Unfortunately (and as much as we’d love to), pets are not allowed. We actually don’t even have any grass. About the area: You’ve got everything you’ll need around the Yeronga/Annerley area. The house is a short (450m) walk to Yeronga train station, just down the road. It’ll take you roughly 15min to get to the city by train (which is ideal for QUT students). It’s a short walk to the 100, 105 and 125 buses. They’ll take you in the city and to Indooroopilly. It’s a 5 minute drive to Fairfield Gardens where you'll find Coles, Greengrocers, BWS, Liquorland, Post Office, Snap Fitness and more. There's a 7/11 servo there as well. You'll find another 7/11 across the train track, down the road in Yeronga near Dominoes Pizza, Subway, a doctors surgery, chemist and more. This place really is in the best location. Annerley, Buranda, South Brisbane and Woolloogabba are a 8/10min drive away too where you'll find so much more, KFC, Woolworths, Zambrero's and GYG included. We're located a couple of km’s away from the Brisbane Corso which is very popular for bike riding and morning/afternoon runs. Brisbane Corso leads to Green Bridge which will take you over the river to UQ. To get to the city it's a 8km/15 minute drive. To get to Indooroopilly, it takes roughly 15/20 minutes around either side of the river, Mount Gravatt and Carindale are both roughly 20 minutes drive as well. Yeronga is literally the best suburb and I can’t recommend it enough, that’s why I live here :).
I am quite, tidy, respectful, have a sense of humour and enjoy good conversation. I enjoy music, books and cinema; everything from the latest Marvel blockbuster to indie arthouse. I am a bit of a nerd so comics and sci-fi are my thing but I'm also interested in a few sports. I take everyone as I find them and don't care your race, sexual orientation etc., it's all fine by me. I am 49-years-old and on a disability pension (advanced osteoporosis). I’m mobile but one set of stairs is my limit. If you live in a unit above the second story I’m not your guy. I require an unfurnished room as I come with a bed, desk etc.. I also have quite a few tools so somewhere with under house storage would be preferable. I am not a smoker but I do vape, which is my only vice. I currently live in an all male household but would prefer a mixed one or one where the men living there understand how to keep a tidy home. Finally I have a five-year-old Labrador X who is happiest playing fetch, receiving pats or curled up at your feet.
I'm friendly, kind and caring, but also respect people's personal space. I'm tidy and organised and lowkey an amazing cook. I love animals and am LGBT+ friendly and super accepting of all types of people.
Hey I'm Nat! I'm 25 years old, from Melbourne and am going to be in Brisbane between early November and late April playing football. I'm very laid back, clean and tidy, like a chat but also keep to myself a lot. I won't be up late partying or anything like that - training will be six days per week so that will take up most of my afternoons and weekends, and I will be travelling some weekends for games. I'm looking for a place that is happy to have my dog come along as well so would need a backyard and air conditioning in the house. Hugo's a mini groodle and an inside/outside dog, loves people and other dogs. Shoot me a message if this sounds good to you!
Please check if your offering matches my search below Searching for: - Maximum 3x (no couples please) - Large room or 2x rooms - Ensuite or own bathroom - Air-conditioned room - Up to $300 for 1.5-2 rooms - Up to $250 if some storage is required - Preference for shared bills - Quiet location (not really city/valley) - Close by access to transport to the city - Pets are ok :) - Professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please About Me: Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 30 and work full-time in the CBD, enjoy social sport and enjoy quiet activities at home such as reading, art or the odd reality show :) I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or too much socialising at home (outside of the housemates) as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I'm keen to live with someone who shares a similar mindset around respecting and compromising in a shared space so that everyone is comfortable and happy. It would be lovely to meet a new friend and have a wine if it works out but I'm also keen to have some personal space and a good house layout. I'd definitely love to share with a cat or small dog as I haven't been able to get one myself. I'm currently renting a townhouse to share but the owner has chosen to sell last minute. This means I'm flexible on dates and periods at the moment. Ideally I'd like the same set-up which is 3-beds+ between 2 and I'd also consider renting two adjacent rooms and bathroom if its close to budget. I do have a house of furniture (lounge, fridge, washing machine, TVs etc.) so ideally I could use some, or store some in a garage, but for the right room and price I will put this into storage. Reasonable storage is a must. If you think we would work well together or you have a set-up that would suit me, please let me know and send me a message :)
Super cheap, comfortable room available in a lovely, leafy home in Yeronga! $130/week (excl bills) Looking for someone to join our friendly house. The current housemate is leaving this weekend (15/16 sep) so ideally you would be able to move in around then. Great spot amongst the trees in a quiet cul-de-sac, and with bus stops and train station within walking distance. Close to West End and an easy ride along the river to UQ if you're a student. The house has plenty of places to relax and hang out, there’s a veranda, backyard, and functional well equipped kitchen. The available room is large enough for a double bed, bedside table, wardrobe and drawers (see picture), it can be furnished (not as in pictured but similar) or unfurnished. The room is $130 a week, not including bills. Plus a bond of 4 weeks rent ($520), plus 2 weeks' rent in advance, which you will get back at the end of your stay if everything is in order. Possibility of signing your name onto lease ending in january. For more info or to arrange a viewing please contact us! Cheers
