Hi, I am Alex (33) aka the Greek. I just moved to Australia after leaving in the UK for 10 years with a 2 year break away to Germany. I work in UQ as a Post-Doc. in economics and psychology. I love drinking coffee watching the sunrise and I try to exercise at least an hour per day (gym, tennis, yoga, swim, cycling) even if work continuously tries to get in the way. I am always in for the after work beer or glass of wine, and I enjoy cooking. My place doesn't have to be spotless just fairly clean and reasonably organised. I am looking for a house I can call home with a group of flatmates that I can share a laugh and my dinner with.
I am full-time employee at The University of Queensland, looking for a residence with my partner and current housemate, Adele. Adele works as a Language Interpreter within the school system and also studies at UQ.
I work part-time, predominately in the evenings and also most weekends. Studying literature and art history, so I spend a lot of my time reading. When I have time off work I often go up the coast to visit family. Love to cook, so having a housemate that I could share a meal and a glass of wine with from time to time with would be great.
Hey! I've been living in West End for the last 3.5 years and absolutely love the suburb, hitting the Davies Park markets on weekends and being close to the river walk. In my spare time I'm into podcasts, op-shopping, cups of tea and the gym. I'm currently studying my Masters of Organisational Psychology at UQ. I've taken Semester 1 off study because of increased work commitments, but am looking forward to getting back into it in Semester 2. I also work part-time job at a state sporting organisation and travel on average every second weekend with work. I consider myself a pretty easy-going and positive person and I really value a friendly and considerate home vibe. I enjoy being social and hanging out with my housemates, but I'm looking for a relaxed home as opposed to a party-house. I'm a housemate who cleans up after myself, and I'm reliable with the communal cleaning and bills. I'm looking for somewhere to call home for at least 12 months. My ideal move date is June 12th, but I am happy to move in early June for the right spot. I'm looking for rooms in West End, Highgate Hill, Dutton Park, Yeronga or Coorparoo. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi there! We’re looking for a female (in their mid to late 20s) to join our 3 bedroom townhouse, with 2 other ladies. They will be resigning for a 6 or 12 months lease. The room up for grabs is $145/w. (Bond is $640). It features a very high ceiling and high door (making the room feel even bigger). It has a built-in cupboard with mirrored doors. It also has 2 high windows to let in the natural sunlight. The room comes unfurnished. The townhouse is spacious and very modern. The property has a garage and one off street parking as well as ample on street parking (with no parking limits). There’s a huge living area downstairs that’s great for entertaining as it opens out onto the courtyard. There’s a cute kitchen with a gas cooktop too! Unfortunately pets are not allowed. About the area: You’ve got everything you’ll need around the Yeronga area. The house is a short (450m) walk to Yeronga train station. It’ll take you roughly 15min to get to the city by train (ideal for QUT students). It’s a short walk to the 100, 105 and 125 buses. They’ll take you in the city and to Indooroopilly. It’s a 5 minute drive to Fairfield Gardens where you'll find grocery and liquor stores, post office, gym and servo. Annerley, Buranda, South Brisbane and Woolloongabba are a 8/10min drive away too where you'll find so much more. We're located a couple of km’s away from the Brisbane Corso which is very popular for bike riding and morning/afternoon runs. Brisbane Corso leads to Green Bridge which will take you over the river to UQ. To get to the city it's a 8km/15 minute drive. To get to Indooroopilly, it takes roughly 15/20 minutes around either side of the river, Mount Gravatt and Carindale are both roughly 20 minutes drive as well.
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a nice place to settle in, preferably with lots of plants and books and a yard. I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but stoked to move back to brisbane now (I'm originally from currumbin but studied in brissy for years). I'm a professional editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll be doing volunteer charity work as well and various other things like camping, biking, hiking, traveling, etc. I clean up after myself without being asked, keep to myself a bit for most of the day but always up for a good chat over a coffee and keen for a community feel (i.e. house dinners, housemate picnics, whatever). 28, non-smoker, non-annoying. LGBTI+ friendly and all the good non-bigotted stuff. Cheers :)
I'm a Melbourne girl currently in Brisbane for the next few years going to uni at UQ studying sociology and political science. I like a good chat in common areas, and would prefer housemates I click with (with common interests), but general cleanliness and respect is what I'm after the most. Ideally looking for a place with a cleaning roster so we can all be held accountable! Ideally looking for an unfurnished room as I have the things I need - however a built in/existing wardrobe is ideal! I'd love to find a place with a bit of cultural diversity and open-mindedness, with people down for a chat or who are on the same political and social page as me - this includes progressive thinking in regards to race, gender, sexuality, etc. Please note that I am only looking for housemates who are LGBTQ+ and SWer friendly
Modern renovated 3 bedroom house to share with a female professional, fully furnished in a quiet street in Yeronga with a ground pool, air conditioning, Internet. The property is only 5mins drive to Southbank and Westend and 10mins drive to the city. The house is 8mins walk to Yeronga train station with the bus stop is located outside the house zone 2 and is a 5min drive to the Mater and PA hospital. University of Queensland foot bridge is a 2 km walk for the property so perfect for students. Open for inspection when arranged. Split bills evenly which include electricity, gas lawns and water. Rent per week is $210 and includes pool maintenance and Internet :)
We have a nest available for someone looking for a home rather than a house, all bills (including solar power and unlimited internet!) included, preferably for a longer-term stay. The room itself is a medium-sized nest with a skylight and built-in wooden cupboards. You'll be sharing a bathroom (with clawfoot bathtub and rain shower!) with one other person (the delightful Claudia). The communal living spaces include a spacious kitchen and living area, two verandahs and multiple gardens and outdoor spaces. These spaces are shared with all three of us (Em has their own ensuite, and Kate lives in a self-contained little house out back, separate to the main space). Sadly we have met our animal quota with Elke, the chickens and Kafka - a dog that visits sometimes and brings his human Jason along who is allergic to cats. We are close to Fairfield shops, 104 and 196 bus stop and close to the Fairfield and Yeronga train stations. We are a short bike ride (or bus trip) away from UQ. We are walking distance to the river through a lovely park near a good coffee shop. There are lots of natives, fledgeling fruit trees and interesting things in our gardens. Four chickens that have just started laying eggs live here and the garden has some great raised garden beds and herb spiral for food-growing. One more lover of chickens and permaculture gardens would be a welcome addition to keep the dream alive. We prioritise our house by checking in for about an hour every month and like to have fun together on a house date every now and then. We sometimes share food and cook for each other. We share chores and appreciate flatmates with a tidy house love language, who are insightful about their own stuff and are mental health literate. We welcome queer/trans/poly/feminist/all humans.
Hello future house mates! Our names are Aaron and Grace ( and Jasmine the cat). We are a couple of design students looking for flat mates or an existing share house for the end of April/beginning of May. We always pay our rent on time, are non smokers, quiet and tidy people. We enjoy quiet nights in, video games and have a lovely collection of house plants. Our 9 year old cat, Jasmine, is a very cuddly girl who likes to sit in the garden or snuggle in bed. She is very well behaved and knows not to scratch or make a mess. Ideally we would like to create a new share house with 1-2 housemates, as we already have quite a bit of furniture. However, we are also willing to move into an existing share house with 1- 2 house mates. If you are interested or would like to meet us, let us know :)
Hi, we are a couple that are looking for a share house to live in. Laura is a full time medical student and Matt works full time and does triathlons. We spend our spare time exercising, traveling and going camping when we can. We also enjoy a beer and a chat with our housemates. We would like the opportunity to meet with you and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Matt and Laura
Hey! I am a young professional from Brisbane, working full time in a 9-5 job. I'm reliable, friendly and like to keep a clean house. I generally prefer a quiet night in and a movie but will never turn down a glass of wine or two with good company. I like to spend my free time travelling and am always planning my next adventure. My travels have taught me that a sense of humour and good manners can get you a long way and it is important to appreciate the simple things in life. These are values I highly regard and aim to live by.
We are a fun, energetic couple who love to hike, camp and explore the world in our spare time. Mel: works part time as a health professional, studying a post graduate degree part-time. Xave: works casually in retail, soon to start an apprenticeship trade.
Looking to move in with chill flatmates who might enjoy the occasional drinks or xbox/gaming sesh. I work full time in the city and spend my free time catching up with friends, exercising, playing xbox and chilling at home. Not looking for a party house but I do enjoy some wine!

Studying English and working at Queensland Tennis Centre, my partner on holiday and work at office. We like living in a respectful environment, clean and tidy everyday. We enjoy chatting at the kitchen and a beer on weekends.
Full time Grifftafe student, part time BWS curmudgeon looking to team up to find a funky place around the Woolloongabba/West End area. Into music and having too many house plants (when I don't accidentally kill said plants) and enjoy bumming about any local markets etc. I'm respectful of space, fairly quiet and am mostly busy with work and study. Previously worked in a kitchen for 3 years as well so I am very much into keeping shared spaces clean and ready for whoever may be next. Ideally want to team up and find a house with ceiling fans and some kind of yard situation or even a large verandah (just somewhere outside to hang about and relax).
