I am a friendly and outgoing psychology student from Norway, currently on exchange at the University of Queensland. I love to meet new people, and would appreciate a social share house! People describe me as clean, tidy and social, but also mindful of others privacy.
Located on one of the finest promenades in Brisbane; Brisbane Corso, Yeronga is an address that is highly sought after among those wishing to live in an extremely quiet suburban cul-de-sac with minimal traffic and extremely inviting options for lovely walks by the river or the multitude of parklands nearby. Additionally, if you're a student, it's a pleasant 10 minute walk to UQ St Lucia. The home itself is older in style but warm and inviting in character. Warmer evenings are spent out on the balcony having a BBQ dinner and listening to music or just chilling out and listening to nature. Your bedroom is very private and constitutes the entirety of the second floor. It has it's own A/C, en-suite and walk in robe with lot's of light and views of the Corso. The TV you see in the lounge room has Netflix and regular TV. I have my own TV in my bedroom so there'll never be issues with what to watch. Anyway, I often prefer to chill outside, play guitar or read in the evenings. If you have a car or other belongings there's a garage with plenty of storage space.

Lovely home in quiet street, close to the Brisbane Corso/river. Only 10 mins drive to West End/City/Southbank, a few mins drive to the Green Bridge or a sort bike ride to UQ (18 mins.) Parks and bike/walking paths nearby, a couple of cafés & an Italian restaurant/bar in walking distance also ☺ Fairfield Gardens shopping Centre (with Coles, post office, library etc) is a 5 min drive from home. House is fully furnished with polished wood floorboards throughout and a lovely, light-filled kitchen. The room available is a decent size (bigger than it looks in the picture!), and comfortably fits a queen-sized bed and wardrobe. It has a ceiling fan, window to the back yard and is next to the back entrance & kitchen. No built-ins unfortunately, but there is a double bed, small standing wardrobe & dressing table with mirror available if needed. Rent is $150 per week plus $20 for bills (electricity, water, gas & Wifi internet.) Three weeks bond required. Non-smokers only, prefer a female. Must be clean, respectful, considerate & child-friendly ☺ Full-time worker or student preferred, a PhD student studying at UQ would be ideal.
Hi! I'm Adele. I'm currently living on the Gold Coast but studying at UQ. Obviously that is quite the commute, so I would like to move up to Brisbane, but I want to have a look around the area first and see what I think. Therefore, I'm looking for somewhere short-term so I can get a feel for the area. I'm a very quiet person and I plan on spending most of my time studying, so I am not looking for a party-type sharehouse or anything of the like.
Hi! I am currently looking for a place to move into within the next few weeks. I am an easy going and tidy person to live with, I love a laugh and good chats however keep to myself and am busy most of the time; currently working part time and I am a student at UQ studying nursing. Please message me if you are interested in a meet up for a room :)

TL:DR - two rooms @ $150 & $160p/w available now, place is great, big yard, housemate is friendly, house close to City, UQ and Griffith Nathan Campus, no loud gamers pls :D ----------------------------*---------------------------------------*---------------------------- Hi! I have two rooms available and am looking for two students, professionals or just cool humans to share my fully furnished house in Yeronga with me (your bedroom will be UNFURNISHED). You must be tidy, considerate and kitchen clean (we have a dishwasher so it's easy). The rooms are available now. The house is a 15-20 walk/bike ride to St Lucia UQ campus (you can drive, there’s free parking under the bridge) and a 15-20 minute drive from Griffith University Nathan (always against traffic), West End, Garden City, Brisbane CBD and the Pacific Motorway. There are shops within a 5 minute drive (Buranda Centro and Fairfield Shopping Centre). Unlimited internet is included in your rent, there’s a dishwasher, aircon in the main living area, a washing machine, large fridge with freezer, and cooking utensils and cutlery, so no need to bring your own unless you want to. You really only need what you want for your room! I have a garage for storage of any extra. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower is amazing (^w^) I have two rooms available - bond is $560 on both, with two weeks rent up front on move in: -$160 p/w for the master bedroom with ceiling fan and built in wardrobe (first two empty room pics). Easily fits a king/queen bed with side tables, desk and a decent bookcase. The window faces north and gets a bit of morning light, and is bright throughout the day. Has one double outlet powerpoint but it is easy to add another if needed. -$150 p/w this room has a built in wardrobe and extra large built in cupboard with shelving (last two empty room pics). It gets no direct sunlight but isn't too dark - you have greenery outside your window and lots of privacy since that side of the house is rarely accessed. Easily fits a queen bed, desk and side tables. The room has two double outlet power points. The property is quite large with a substantial yard and outdoor washing line. I am a keen gardener so there's a decent (potted) garden and spare pots for anyone wanting to grow their own herbs etc. The nitty bits: This house is drug and smoke free. Due to previous difficulties this property is also NO cats, dogs or parrots. Other pets like lizards, snakes, fish and insects are fine, or wildlife if you are a registered carer. I have fish myself, and occasionally care for orphaned birds (other than parrots). I’m looking for cool humans to move in asap, and the rooms are available for inspection now. Please, no couples, and no gamers who like to yell at the walls at midnight... If that all sounds good to you, send me a message and we'll tee up a time for you to come and inspect the place :)

So I'm new to Brisbane and up for having some fun, I may be getting on but am not dead yet. I work during the week but prefer to be in a house where I'm not the only one having a few drinks at the weekend, plus excursions to the beach and anywhere else good for a laugh if we get along. I'm from the UK, spent time recently in Ibiza, India and a year in China before here, may live and die in Brisbane but may not, maybe fancy South America or mainland Europe at some point so will kinda try and work on my Spanish as and when. Other stuff I do: cycle around, am planning to try and learn to surf, chill watching movies and the IT Crowd at the moment (I'm a geek subjects teacher, not IT though so can't fix your laptop) and similar stuff etc etc etc
Im a 29&3/4 year old Civil Engineer that works a normal 9 to 5 job in the city. My current housemates are getting married or moving overseas at the same time the lease on our Sherwood apartment is coming to an end. Andrew.
Near new townhouse with all new furniture. Amazing location, short walk to train and bus. 15min easy cycle to UQ. Quiet street. Air-conditioned. The house is all set up with absolutely everything, you just need to move in. The room is a single bedroom, big enough for a queen bed, with a shared bathroom with one other.
I am looking to share with someone who would make a great ‘tenant’ themselves and not someone who just wants one - so if you are looking for someone to share with who is CLEAN, considerate, responsible, who likes and knows the meaning of an immaculate kitchen yet happy to share for instance, PERSONAL hygiene, privacy/personal space but friendly, do get in touch. If not, please do NOT! I am looking initially at a 3 month term but if its a great, ok, good match, I am most open to a longer term. Apologies for the blunt tone, been burnt...

Hey there, my name is Ben and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Economics and working casually in retail. I mainly spend my time playing board games, having a nice brunch with friends, and drinking good coffee when I'm not studying. When I'm home I generally keep to myself although I'm definitely up for making friendships, drinking some wine, eating some snacks and watching TV whenever suits. I'm clean, punctual with rent/bills, and reliable. Thanks, Ben.
I’m Shontelle, I’m 18 and from New Zealand. I have lived in Brisbane for 1 year now and am looking for a new place closer to work. I work in hospitality and I also coach gymnastics. I am friendly and easy going, but also like to keep to myself.
Hi, I am a full time student, looking for a quiet place to retire to at the end of each day. I volunteer, go to libraries and study peer support in mental health, do not smoke, drink or party. Mostly read books, do some boxing for cardio. Don't need to find non smoking housemates but it would be a plus. Looking for anything in the $160 pw range if utlities are covered! Thanks for reading!
-Dave(thought I’d get that out of the way) -Cleans up after self(you’re kidding!) -Will chat(untill the sun rises if desired) -Cooks a mean feed(amazing I know) -Super friendly(**when not tired**) -Respects privacy(what a top bloke) -kills spiders(hero your home deserves) -Having a bad day?(I’ll pour the wine) -No social life?(You can share mine) -The friend you wish you always had( :) ) -Will listen to your problems(Aww Dave) For the most part, I’m easy to live with- I am a social person 80% of the time with the other 20% being consumed by drawing and writing when I’m in the mood. I long for flat mates who clean up after themselves, and everyone treats one another with respect. I am looking for a place where friends can come and visit, possible stay for dinner or a few drinks.(nothing out of control) I’m really lookin for THOSE roomies- you know the ones that become awesome friends; the ones who look out for one another, and can kick back every now and again. I hope to hear from you. Dave.
Single room in a townhouse located within walking distance to the Yeronga train station, buses, and the Brisbane river, among other things. Also only a short drive to the Fairfield Gardens shopping centre. The townhouse is fully furnished, except for the room, though it does have a built-in wardrobe. All bills are included in the rent, including the internet (not NBN yet, though it's coming *soon*). The townhouse itself has air-conditioning, and a small courtyard out the front with a little vege garden I'm (slowly) trying to bring back to life. Pets are welcome too, just need approval with the body corporate but there's never been any issues there.
