Full time IT worker in the city. Like sports and video games. Normally keep to myself but I do not mind having a chat and socializing. Main thing I am looking for is a place close to the train station and air-con.
My name is Stephen, am a +50 yo. currently working in Brisbane, relocated up here for employment (am a Melbournian). Currently married, nonetheless my wife and three children are still living in Melbourne, I commute seeing them every 3rd weekend or so. My wife also does fly up to Brisbane and stays with me from time to time. I am a General Manager for a transport company which involves me traveling regularly overseas and within Australia. I do work longer hours and am a reasonable earlier riser. I am a clean and tidy person, respectful of other people's property and space. Am easy going and am told I'm a pretty good cook. Enjoy clay target shooting every other weekend, plus the occasional golf game. Like the odd quiet time chilling out watching TV or a movie or spending a Saturday or Sunday afternoon cooking up a storm for those I share with. I do enjoy a chat over a beverage and sharing a laugh. No problem with cleaning as required, doing my share, in fact I like tidy and clean living spaces. Preference of a residence to live in, is a larger apartment or a house with my own bathroom, plus off street parking is needed. Looking at a 6-12 month tenure, male or female sharing is fine by me, preferred move in date after April 17th. Also if needed references can be provided from my current flat mate or the real estate agent I rented a property from here in Brisbane. Happy to meet and chat with any prospective flat mate. Thanks Stephen

Yeronga is a lovely area, the neighbours are friendly and we are very close (200m) to the Yeronga Village shops and the Yeronga Train Station is just over the road from them. Bus stops are even closer. There are plenty of great café’s nearby and an easy walk through Hyde Park will take you through to the river and along to the Eleanor Schonell Bridge across to UQ St Lucia campus. Electricity, gas hot water and unlimited internet are included in the weekly rent. Bond is 4 weeks rent. I’m looking for a reasonably quiet housemate (one only, no couples thanks) who has an appreciation of the importance of hygiene and of tidying up after themselves. Am open to short term or long term stays. Non-smoking is a must.

We live in a big beautiful house overlooking Hyde Park. The house has 4 bedrooms; the available room is the master w/ ensuite and walk-in closet. The windows add plenty of light and overlook the backyard. We also have a pool, balcony, aircon, a MASSIVE kitchen and an awesome group of housemates. Oh and a cute little dog named Penny! The house is only a 10 min bike ride to UQ and super close to public transport. *We have a house account which we all put $25 a week into, this pays for electricity, water, internet, netflix and communal items like washing powder, dishwashing tablets, and cleaning products.
Hi folks! My name is Simon and I'm looking to rent a room on a short-term basis from early April until the end of May (I can be flexible with the exact dates if need be). I'm a friendly, considerate, non-smoking 36 year old professional (and online student!) who is about to move overseas to start my own business. I do a bit of driving for Uber in the evenings too, so I'll need a place to park my car (street parking is fine). I speak a few languages and am happy living in a multicultural house or apartment. I don't have any pets but I'm happy to live with people who do. If you have a bbq at your place I'm very happy to cook you up something awesome as well :-) I'm looking for something within a 10-15min drive of the CBD but I can be a bit flexible with that - my budget could be a little flexible for the right type of place too. I'll consider all types of accommodation as long as I have my own private room. Looking for a welcoming environment with no messy slobs or unnaturally obsessive neat-freaks; just nice, normal people. Happy to consider house-sitting as well. Hope to hear from you :-)
Looking for a female flat. I'm a very clean considerate person, have lived both in shared units and also on my own so I'm responsible and can get along with people easily. I'm not usually at home much on the weekends. I work in the CBD full time during the week and also play sport and work out a couple of nights.
Lovely home in quiet street, close to the Brisbane Corso/river. Only 10 mins drive to West End/City/Southbank, a few mins drive/short bike ride to the Green Bridge/UQ. Nearby parks and bike/walking paths, a couple of cafés in walking distance also ☺ House is fully-furnished with polished wood floorboards throughout and a lovely, light-filled kitchen. The room available has a ceiling fan, window to the back yard and is next to the back entrance. No built-ins unfortunately, but there is a double bed and small standing wardrobe available if needed. Rent is $155 per week plus $15 for bills. Three weeks bond preferred. Non-smokers only, prefer a female. Must be clean, respectful, considerate & child-friendly ☺ Full-time worker or student preferred, a PhD student studying at UQ would be ideal.
Hey! We are a couple of laid back full-time musicians. We spend a lot of our time at the family farm in the scenic rim where Alistar has a studio. We are clean, respectful and looking for a few lovely people to move in with! We also own a little border collie named Pearl! She is very, very sweet, obedient and house-trained.

Hi there! I'm an approachable and personable University student, looking for a roommate to join me in a quiet modern two bedroom two bathroom apartment in Yeronga. All utilities and internet is included in the set price, and the second spacious room has your own connecting bathroom. If you're up for the occasional wine, and of course, a sanctuary in which you can study and relax, then wait no more and enquire within. I'm quite an active, health conscious person who enjoys staying fit and looking after the mind and body. I'm also quite busy with work and university, so I'm more often than not out of the house or keeping to myself studying. The apartment is furnished with modern Scandinavian/brightwood dining, lounge, fridge, washing machine and kitchen appliances/crockery. The aircon is ducted throughout the apartment (you can turn it on whenever you like, I'm not an electricity nazi). The second bedroom will be unfurnished, however if there are items of furniture you'd like to contribute to the rest of the home, I'm happy to consider anything that can spice the place up a bit.
The house is a fully furnished brand new townhouse, located in Yeronga. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 and ½ bathrooms. It’s a 5 minutes walk to the train and 15 minutes on the train to the city. There is a park just across the road and shopping areas like Yeronga Village and Fairfield Shopping Centre are only a short walk away. Your room, a single room, includes a ceiling fan and built in wardrobe . It is furnished with a double bed, a desk, chair and bookcases, but if you have something else of yours to bring your welcome. We also have a garage to secure your push bike if have one. You will be using your bathroom shared with only 1 person. All bills are included in the rent with unlimited internet. Call or text Stephanie to arrange an inspection at your convenience.
We are a down to earth couple currently chasing accommodation anywhere in Brisbane! Sam and I love a good chinwag and are originally kiwis who have been on the Sunshine Coast for the past few years. Iesha - currently in her first year of uni studying Criminology & Criminal Justice and works part time in retail Sam - works full time behind the bar at a restaurant on Eagle Street Pier Both of us are laid back and if you've got a decent Spotify playlist or can appreciate most genres then I guarantee we will all get along like a happy little family. If we aren't spending time with friends somewhere on the weekend then we'll most likely be out looking for a good eggs bene. We'd love to move into a house with someone/people who are willing to socialise with us and have a cheeky bevvie over dinner every now and then, but we definitely understand that you will get sick of our bad jokes so you may need a little space from time to time. Additionally, we're both really tidy people and don't want to live with a messy/lazy person. Overall, we're just two peas in a pod who are low maintenance, easy going and looking for a decent set of housemates to do fun stuff with (could range from showing you our cheeky spots up on the sunny coast one weekend to binge watching crime docos on netflix). Shoot us a message if we sound like great additions to your family! Look forward to hearing from anyone who managed to get to the end of this LONG ad! **looking for a place urgently now as our plan runs out and I'm a poor uni student who really doesn't want to pay my other arm for another paid plan to message new listings grr**

Hey! I'm a 21 year old student in my final year of study and I work at the PA hospital. I live quite a busy, active life - a typical weekday for me involves being up early for the gym, out all day either at Uni or work and typically, home in the evenings if not playing sport or seeing friends/family. My weekends vary, sometimes you'll find me studying, working, socialising or binge watching netflix. I'm an easy-going person who avoids drama and would like to live with similar people. I'm looking for relaxed and friendly house mates who are happy to chat and have a drink, but also appreciate some time to myself. I'm very clean, responsible and friendly. And I absolutely LOVE dogs so if you have dogs that's a bonus for me as they'll become my new best friends. Hit me up!
