Hey future housemates. I’m looking to move to Canberra and want to rent a room for a while I get a feel for where and what I like before I buy. I'm looking for a place for 4-6 months, and would need somewhere furnished. I am looking to move from June 10th onwards.

I work as a nurse in Canberra and I also do contract work in the NT. I'm in a routine of few weeks in Canberra and a few weeks in the NT. I am still happy to split bills as though I was there full time.

I work long hours because I am saving to buy a place, but when I am free, I enjoy cooking, socialising and getting out in nature. Im ok to just to do my own thing but would be definitely happy for sharing a bottle of wine or having the occasional housemate dinners together.

Being a nurse I do do some nightshift, but I never expect housemates to tip-toe around this! I have a mask and earplugs so just live your life normally! I've been a nurse a long time and lived in plenty of share houses and its never been an issue.

Looking for a relaxed and friendly house, preferably with great transport links. I’m excited to move and see what living in Canberra is like.
