Hey, I'm Matt! I'm from California and have been living in Sydney for the past 2 years. I've been working towards my PhD in Biology at UNSW (so yes, I'm a bit of a nature nerd), and my research is on kangaroo behaviour around Broken Hill. Outside of uni, I'm big into music and I love going to festivals and concerts, as well as chilling at home with a glass of wine and a record playing in the background. Also enjoy going to bars and the cinema, going for a bush walk or a trip down to the beach, or just hanging at home with a film. I have quite a few plants as well so love a green-filled home.

Really looking for some people around my age that are chill, clean and up to do stuff (I don't really want to live with people that lock themselves in their rooms). I'm a pretty social person so love to be around others that are up to hang, go out and do something or cook a meal together. I'm also into LGBTQ+ activism so I'd like to be around people that are cool with that (I identify as a gay man). I grew up internationally so have lived and worked with people from all over the world, and I tend to get along with most people I come across.

A little flexible with budget but ideally would like all the bills etc. included (air con would be nice as well). My current housemates are off to travel the globe so it's a shame to leave them, but I can't wait to find my new flat family. Aiming to move in sometime between April 15-20. Aiming for something a bit more long-term and stable as well.
