I’m a 38 year old single mum with one child, my 5yr old daughter (April). She lives with me 60% of the time and spends the remaining 40% of her time with her dad. I am originally from Perth, WA, where I grew up and worked as a vet for 12 years before coming to the East Coast. I currently work from home part-time in a healthcare management role. We have been living in the Kingscliff/Casuarina area for the last 3 years, though unfortunately have to move as the house is being renovated for sale. April attends school (Kindergarden) 5 days per week at Kingscliff Primary School. I love to cook, am sociable but respect other people’s personal space and always happy to lend a hand. Easy-going, generous and enthusiastic are words people often use to describe me. I’m also neat and tidy and very adept at share-house living.
Living with a young child might seem intimidating, but April wins over everyone who meets her; she’s very sociable, curious, kind, hilarious and adores animals.
