**getting a lot of responses saying landlord doesn’t allow pets, so just a heads up, the law just changed so landlords have to allow pets!!**

Hey, I'm a 3rd year PhD student at UWA looking at vocal complexity in Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins and the WA magpie! I also teach undergrad biology and sci-comm.

My dog and I are looking for a house when my current lease is up. Somewhere tidy and quiet with some good humans that enjoy sharing a meal or the occasional adventure together, but also respect space and down time. I’ve been renting for nearly a decade, both alone and in share houses so I’m a seasoned pro at being a good tenant😬

Bug, my non-negotiable room mate, is a 9 year old petite American bulldog x boxer. She sleeps most of the day, except when we go to the park or beach to do zoomies. She is a sweetie and doesn’t bark. She just wants a corner of the couch to snooze on (and the occasional pat). She is an indoor dog so you’ll need to be someone who is okay with that! I do keep on top of vacuuming her stray fuzz up as much as possible.

I love to cook, chill in front of a good movie and go on hikes. I am not a party person and would much prefer a games/movie evening with a friend and a glass of wine, than a house party or night out. Hoping to find housemates that also prefer a quieter life and are past their party days! I often pack up my car and go away camping (new camping buddies always welcome!)

I have my own couch, fridge, washing machine, bed + various other furniture items I can either bring to the house or sell (+ many house plants)

I like to keep a clean and tidy house so looking to find people on the same page who do their dishes and keep any mess in their personal space!

Putting feelers out for a place to move into early September 2024. Keen to find a lovely place for Bug and I to call home!
