Ninad and Sakshi

We are a married couple in our late 20s looking for a long-term place to call home in Perth.

I am Ninad, a Civil Engineer with a Master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Adelaide, which I completed in December 2021. I have been working professionally in the engineering industry since graduating. I have lived in Australia since February 2020, mainly in Adelaide, along with a year in Mackay, Queensland, for work experience.

In January 2023, I travelled to India to marry my long-time partner and returned to Adelaide in April 2023 to continue working and building our future in Australia.

My wife, Sakshi, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from India. After moving to Adelaide in July 2023, she worked as a Childcare Educator for a year while continuing her studies, as she has always enjoyed working with children. She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Human Resources to transition into a career in HR.

We have both held Australian Permanent Residency since August 2024, so no visa dramas for us!

In July 2025, we temporarily returned to India due to a family emergency. We are now excited to move back to Australia and start this new chapter in Perth, where we hope to settle long-term.

We have been fortunate to rent directly from homeowners throughout our time in Australia and have always maintained a positive and reliable tenancy record.
