About us

Hi, I’m Petra. I’m teaming up with my current housemate Brendan to find one more like-minded adult to apply together for a new rental.

We’re two independent adults, not a couple, currently living together in a calm, well-run household. Our lease is ending because the property is being sold, and our third housemate is relocating back to Melbourne. We’re now looking to form a stable, long-term household with the right person.

I work three days a week and spend the rest of my time working from home organising for events and projects. Brendan works full time. We’re both financially stable, have strong rental references individually and together, and understand that being on a lease means shared responsibility for the entire home, not just your room.

We keep a clean, grounded, and respectful home without needing reminders. Cleaning, maintenance, and initiative are simply part of how we live. We’re friendly and open to conversation but value independence, personal routines, and a peaceful household dynamic.

We’re looking to team up to rent a small house in Northern NSW or the very southern Gold Coast, including areas like Tweed, Fingal, Chinderah, Kingscliff, Currumbin, Tugun, Palm Beach, Elanora, and nearby suburbs. Ideally a three-bedroom home, with the right setup and people locked in first. We’re open to a fourth person only if the property and dynamic genuinely suit, but our focus is finding the right third.

We have two pets, a calm dog and a mellow indoor cat, both well managed and used to living quietly. Any housemate must be genuinely comfortable with animals and able to apply for pet-friendly rentals.

We’re aiming to move by early February but are flexible for the right place and person. We’re looking for someone long-term minded who is seeking a home, not just a room, someone settled, responsible, and comfortable committing to a shared lease.

Ideally, you’ll be a single adult roughly between late 20s to 50, with solid rental history, at least several years of experience renting, and strong references. References are essential, as applications won’t proceed without them.

If this sounds aligned, we’re happy to chat further and see if we’re a good fit before applying.
