Heya! I'm Hari (prefer to be addressed as Zuko), a 25 year old full-time PhD student at UWA.

What makes me a great flatmate, you ask? I'll barely be there, ha ha. In all seriousness, I'd probably be spending most of my time at uni hunched over a laptop and a couple of research papers. So I'm looking for a space that feels inviting when I inevitably get back to have food and crash.

However, when I'm not preoccupied with my course, I'm pretty nice to be around (if I do say so myself). I love learning about different people and find it fascinating to engage in conversations about anything under the sun - philosophy, movies, dumb puns at 2 AM, art... literally anything. So if you're a yapper, I'd be all ears.

When it comes to finances, I do make sure to pay bills on time. I'm not a stickler about splitting utilities and will be willing to go along with whatever seems fair. However, I would expect you to have an open line of communication with me. The same goes for cleaning common areas at home and things like that. I consider this the bare minimum.

So yeah, If you think you'd like to see first hand, how a bright eyed, bushy tailed, queer, first year PhD Scholar gets chewed up and spit out by Academia, do consider renting out a room for me :)

Note: I would prefer places where I get to have my own washroom. However, I would be okay with places where I'd have to share with another person.
