Hi, I'm Anna - I've just relocated back to Melbourne from my home on the Sunshine Coast/ Brisbane. I put 4 months stay but am open to longer - if it was the right place maybe even 12 months - esp Northside - like Carlton Nth, Fitzroy Nth, Fitzroy, Brunswick, Northcote , Preston, Collingwood- I do love the north side haha.
I just started postgrad studies at Clayton Uni (HALP!) - I don't have to be on campus much but I would like to meet ppl there, use their library's to study - I like it better then studying at home. It is only 1 semester - ending beginning of June when final assessments due then- its a bit unclear, well I don't know is what I mean haha. if I do really well could lead to Masters, making the Masters a lot shorter. And I could potentially do it part time so I can work more and not just casually.
I've lived in heaps of awesome share houses, in Melbourne - Brunswick, Fitzroy North, Carlton and Carlton North (I lived here for many years, leaving only for long term travel) . More recently I moved back to QLD to be closer to family. I'm very easy going, respectful of other housemates, I'm friendly and open, I love meeting new people and trying new things.
I will have to keep it pretty chill for the 3 months of full time post grad. (In saying that I still want to have a social life! And I will need to find some casual work, although I have plenty of savings to use for rent - I ALWAYS pay rent on time).
I have good friends in Melbourne, and I'm happy to be back! I just turned 38 but I'm a young 38 -- some of my closest friends are in their 20s. I LOVE music, keeping fit, and exploring. I just went to an awesome Burning man type festival in Thailand which was epic. I don't bring the party home - I respect your space.
I'm open to sublets or a house that wouldn't mind if I stay 4--6 months initially, although I expect to stay in Melbourne, so if it was a good fit I'm open to longer term!
I do have a car - an SUV I set up to sleep in/ camp/ go to festivals etc - so I would need parking, street parking totally fine.
Any questions please message me :) I've been house-sitting for friends in Box Hill and am still staying with another friend atm - but in Healesville which I'm super grateful for and she has said I can stay til the semester is done, but it's been hard with the commute and finding time to myself if I need to do some study in the evenings as there is a young awesome kid as well. I stopped looking because it was taking too much time away from study and I'm doing my best to get back on top, but Ive been house and cat sitting for other friends in Preston and realised how much I need a room closer to the city - I'm looking for a friendly house that won't mind if I do need to study - I prefer to study outside of home but to save time, I sometimes study at home but with headphones and would set up a desk so you would hardly know I'm even there. I can move asap! Happy to meet for coffee or come by anytime :)
Thanks! Anna
