Hi, I'm Anna - I've just relocated back to Melbourne from my home on the Sunshine Coast/ Brisbane. I put 4 months stay but am open to longer - just I am commencing postgrad studies at Clayton - I don't have to be on campus much but I would like to connect with people there, use their library's to study as it is only 1 semester (beginning start of March - End of May/ possibly into June). if I do really well could lead to Masters, making the Masters a lot shorter.
I've lived in many awesome share houses, in Melbourne - Brunswick, Fitzroy North, Carlton and Carlton North (I lived here for many years, leaving only for long term travel) and more recently I moved back to QLD to be closer to family. I'm very easy going, respectful of other housemates, I'm friendly and open, I love meeting new people and trying new things.
I will have to keep it pretty chill for the 3 months of full time post grad. (In saying that I still want to have a social life! And I will need to find some casual work, although I have savings to use as backup for rent - I ALWAYS pay rent on time).
I have good friends in Melbourne, and I'm happy to be back! I just turned 38 but I'm a young 38 -- some of my closest friends are in their 20s. I LOVE music, keeping fit, and exploring. I just went to an awesome Burning man type festival in Thailand which was epic. I don't bring the party home - I respect your space.
I'm not quite sure where to look at the moment - somewhere around Elwood/ Caulfield South/ Elsternwick seem like a good middle ground - easy to get to Uni, close to the beach and also easy to get into the city for gigs etc. But I am open to anywhere - I loved living in the North side I just have to work out if this would work with uni, but having a car will make a big difference.
I'm open to sublets or a house that wouldn't mind if I stay 4--6 months initially, although I expect to stay in Melbourne, this would give me time to see if I want to continue study and where I would want to live ongoing.
I have a car so I would need parking, street parking totally fine.
Any questions please message me :) I'm house-sitting for friends in Box Hill at the moment, they get back mid Feb but for the right place I can pay rent earlier and properly move in when they are back. Happy to meet for coffee or come by anytime!
Thanks,
Anna
