Hi, I’m Annemarie - 35, working as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at a law firm in the city. I split my week between the office and WFH (usually three days at home), so I’m around but very used to apartment living and being mindful of shared space.
The real star of the show is Jerry - my almost-6-year-old cavoodle. He’s a very experienced apartment dog: quiet, toilet trained, pretty lazy and happiest curled up on the couch or sitting at your feet while you work. He takes a minute to warm up to new people, but once you’re in, you’re in. When I’m at the office or out for long stretches, he goes to doggy daycare - but if you’re home and want the company, he’s an excellent cuddle buddy.
He gets along really well with other small to medium dogs (we’ve happily lived with dog-housemates before). Big dogs can make him a bit unsure at first, but a patient gentle giant could win him over.
Outside of work, I’m usually walking Jerry, catching up with friends for coffee or a wine, or having a quiet night in. My big party days are behind me, but I’ll never say no to a glass of wine and a chat on the balcony.
I’m open to a short-term place for a few months while the rental market cools off a bit, or teaming up with someone to find a great 2 bed. Ideally looking for a clean, relaxed, respectful home - good vibes, clear communication and mutual understanding that everyone has their own lives but it’s nice to be friendly too.
If you’re looking for a responsible adult plus one very sweet, slightly clingy cavoodle, we might be a good fit!
