Hi, I'm Alia!
I'm doing a PhD at the University of Queensland about biobased and biodegradable polymers since January 2024. After a 6-month placement in Perth, I'm coming back to Brisbane (=home) and looking for a place long term from early January 2026.

I'm passionate about practicing circus: I do silks, trapeze and lyra several times a week. I love cooking and baking vegan food, experimenting with fermentation and perfecting my sourdough skills. I enjoy being outside as much as possible, running, hiking or camping.

I'm looking for a vegan, or at least vegetarian, house. I like my home to be very clean and well-organised. I tend to be quite direct and I value communication and honesty between housemates!
I prefer cosy dinner, board games nights and long discussions to big parties. I'd love to find a house which is more than just a place to sleep, but feels like a small community.
