A little about me

Hi, I’m 55 and currently living in Indented Head, but I’ve really loved being back in Melbourne dog sitting and can see myself making it home again. I’m looking to move closer to my family, who live in Patterson Lakes.

I work full time in a permanent government role, which I’ve been in for over 13 years. I work mostly from home these days, so good internet, a reasonably quiet space during the day and room for a desk are important to me. I have a steady income, a good rental history and references available.

I’m hoping to find a lovely home to share with one or two other people. I’m particularly drawn to a modern, comfortable and well-cared-for home with a contemporary feel and quality furnishings. I enjoy a home that feels stylish and inviting, but also relaxed and lived in. Open to sharing with all genders and ages.

I’m friendly and sociable and enjoy a chat over a coffee, a glass of wine or the occasional shared meal, but I’m also very independent and appreciate having my own space. I’m respectful of other people, their belongings and their routines, and I’m clean and tidy without being obsessive about it.

I’m a non-smoker and don’t have any pets, although I’m happiest in the company of fury friends.

I have a car, so some form of parking would be important — ideally off-street, although it doesn’t need to be a garage. Having my own bathroom would also be lovely, but I’m flexible for the right home and people.

I’m really looking for a stable, happy household rather than a large or constantly changing share house. Ideally, I’d love to find a place that feels like home, with one or two like-minded people who enjoy having their own lives but also don’t mind sharing a coffee or a conversation now and then.

My preferred areas are **Patterson Lakes, Edithvale and Mordialloc**, ideally somewhere within walking distance of the **beach, train and cafés**.

I also really value a sense of community. I’m an active member of Lions Club and would love to continue being involved in the local community wherever I settle.

I’m looking for somewhere I can stay longer term and am happy to have a conversation about what works for everyone. For me, it’s really about finding the right home and the right people so not in any rush.

I will be overseas for three weeks and would prefer 6 December move in date, open to negotiations.
