I’m looking for a fully furnished, move-in ready, modern and well-maintained place that is comfortable for working from home.

🏡 Option 1 – One-bedroom apartment (Priority 1)

• Spacious and comfortable layout
• Open to 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + study, or 2 bedrooms if within budget
• 🛏 Double or queen bed
• 👕 Wardrobe and good storage space
• 🛋️ Living area with sofa, dining setup and Smart TV
• 🧑‍💻 Suitable work setup with office desk and height-adjustable office chair
• Fully furnished and move-in ready

💰 Budget: $500–$800 per week

🚉 Public transport within around 10 minutes walk
⏱ Up to around 50 minutes to the CBD
🛒 Shops, supermarkets and dining options within walking distance

🏢 Building preference - Applies to option 1 above and option 2 below

• Modern buildings such as Meriton or similar
• Also open to a modern, near-new house or townhouse
• Good layouts and well-maintained common areas
• Higher floors preferred
• Ground-floor properties considered only if they are modern, private and in a quiet location. MUST BE SAFE.
• Facilities such as a sauna, gym and pool will be an advantage.

🚪 Option 2 – Master bedroom or spacious room with ensuite or own private bathroom

• Ensuite or own private bathroom is required
• Ideally looking to share with one other person (male preferred)
• I mostly work remotely and am on calls throughout the day, so I need a quiet space with good privacy
• Modern, clean and well maintained
• 🛏 Double or queen bed with a good quality mattress
• 🧑‍💻 Work desk and height-adjustable office chair
• 👕 Wardrobe and storage space
• 🛋️ Comfortable shared living area with sofa, Smart TV, dining area and full kitchen access
• Shared areas clean and tidy

💰 Budget: $300–$500 per week - The higher end of the budget would only be considered for a master bedroom with ensuite in a newer or premium building (e.g. Meriton or a propety thats near new or under 5 years old).

🚫 Notes

• Not considering small or cramped studios or granny flats
• Only considering studios if they are exceptionally modern and spacious with additional shared facilities (e.g. UKO-style developments)
• Prefer direct arrangements with landlords or existing flatmates living in the property
• Open to a small family setup if the home is spacious and offers a quiet, private environment
• Prefer low-occupancy homes
• Not looking for properties with multiple tenants, room-by-room rental arrangements, or several rooms being sublet

👤 About me

I’m a full-time Senior Technology Project Manager and mostly work from home. I spend quite a bit of time at my desk and really value a calm and comfortable home environment.

Quiet, tidy and respectful. I usually keep to myself, but I’m always up for a friendly chat when I’m not working.

I’m a foodie and generally eat at home. I mostly get takeaway, occasionally dine out, and make light meals, coffee, juices and smoothies at home. I enjoy healthy eating.

I cook now and then, and when I do, I clean up straight away.

I keep things clean and take care of my own space day to day. I always clean up after myself and appreciate living with people who do the same.

I’ve been in Australia since late 90s and relocated to Sydney from Perth a few years ago. I’m well established professionally and looking for a quality place to call home. I travel quite a bit, which is why I’m looking for a shorter-term place at this stage than getting place for longer term. Happy to provide references if needed.
