Tidy, organised and respectful housemate, Pensioner. After my husband was admitted into full time care in September 2024, I found myself needing to downsize and so I am looking for a quiet home to share with some lovely people, who enjoy their own space and a quiet home.
I am looking for an unfurnished double bedroom, use of kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower (not a shower over bath) and parking available (on or off street).
I have experience living in house shares, previously subletting a room to a lovely 40+ year old woman who became a great friend, and most recently in a lovely house share which I found through this site. References are available on request.
Otherwise I am a Grandmother of 2 adorable children, boy 18 mths, girl 4 mths. I am fit and well, spending my days staying active, visiting my husband in his care home daily and spending time with my family. In the evenings I am mostly home, I like to cook and relax with some TV (happy to do so in my room or shared living area).
