Hi legends!
I’m Faith, your super awesome potential future housemate :))
I’m originally a Noosa girl, who moved to Sydney five years ago to pursue a law degree and big dreams (but got distracted gallivanting around Africa). I’ve had an incredible last few years, living in Sydney, then travelling around Asia pacific and Africa (hmu if ur ever up for a spontaneous bikepacking trip), and then living in Thirroul, which meant being a 2sec walk from my morning ocean swim. This year, while I wrap up my law degree and worm my way into the earth jurisprudence / wild law space, I’m looking to firmly base myself in Sydney (loved the T4 train line last year, but really need to be closer to uni), and am hoping to bring my Noosa / Africa / Thirroul energy with me :)))
HOBBIES:
2026 is the year that I make hobbies a more important part of my life.
- Being active is most important to me, so you’ll likely find me on a morning run, surf, or cycle (in that order). A goal this year is also to attend as many bold & beautiful swims as possible
- A big big priority is spending time in nature more regularly. Weekend hikes are on the vision board (bonus points if its an overnight or multiday hike)
- Currently learning to unlock and express my creativity, even if that means producing an imperfect childlike mess (bonus points if I unlock a (happy) childlike mess feeling!). Poetry, crocheting, water paints, and oil pastels have been in rotation recently, and I'm hoping I'll one day learn to sew... (I've got buttons down pat)
- Finally, I love deeply engaging with systems change centred around deep ecology / regen
WHAT I WANT IN A HOUSEHOLD:
Clear communication, accountability, and respect for shared spaces is most important to me.
Once those are established, I would love to feel like we are co-creators of our home.
I would love the space to feel like relief.
I would love love love if we had a chore roster to keep accountability neutral and fun.
I’d love a house that was open to a weekly, open invite potluck style dinner… early start, early finish, casual and warm and community building.
More generally, I’d love to feel like my home was somewhere I could invite a friend back for a cup of tea or shared meal.
ALL THE RESPONSIBLE STUFF:
- Rental references (Sharon loved us x)
- Happy to pay bond (obviously)
- Got a job (yay!)
- Sober habits (we love lungs and livers)
- Share-house trained, communicative, respectful etc.
SO … if that at all sounds like what you’re looking for in a housemate… and a home co-creator, then I’d be honoured to swing past and say hi sometime.
Big hugs, Faith
