I’ve been in Brisbane for just under a year staying with family and now I really need my own space. Originally from London. I’m looking for an air conditioned room preferably with a private bathroom close to the city. Ideal suburb is Kangaroo Point, but open to somewhere close to the city. I’d love a social home where flatmates are happy to chat and have the occasional dinner or drink, but also happy to keep to myself. I work full time and am out of the house from around 6:30am-6pm mon-Fri, with the very occasional (although rare) wfh day. I am always out and about on the weekends. I’m respectful of noise / personal space. I don’t have any pets but am a cat lover, so if there’s a house cat that would be a bonus.
