I’m Jaklyn - a 32 year old vet nurse originally from Darwin. I moved to Melbourne in April after living in the UK for 3 years and started a new job at a referral hospital.

I’m looking for a private room to rent in St Kilda East or Balaclava (I live here currently and really don’t want to leave the area). I can be flexible with a furnished or unfurnished room, but would need a parking space (on or off street) and internet included. Having at least one female as a housemate is preferred but not essential and room for a double bed would also be great.

A private bathroom or ensuite would be a plus, but is of course not a necessity. I’m looking to move in as soon as I can and my stay length would 12 months. My budget is $390 per week including bills.

As a housemate I’m very easy going, extremely clean & tidy and respectful of other peoples spaces and boundaries.
As I’m usually kept quite busy outside of the house, when I’m at home I typically like to wind down which means I’m usually quiet and keep to myself. However, I’m also friendly and like to have a chat and catch up every now and then. I’m also a non-smoker.

In my spare time I like to keep fit and healthy (gym and running), bake, read, go on nature walks, go to concerts/museums/sports matches, catch up with friends, try new things, check out different food spots, and watch films.
