Hi there! I'm a neurodiverse trans woman in my mid 30's who moved to Melbourne/Naarm earlier this year and I'm looking for a place to call home. *If possible*, I'd love to find a place where I can bring my dog (Tex, 9yo kelpie cross) too!

My main interests are studying ("part-time" psych honours) and gaming so I tend to be pretty attached to the computer, but I do like hanging out in nature now and then so I'd love a bit of yard where I can get my herb/flower collection started again. I also like to have music in my life, and depending on housemate styles I'm also very open to just lounging in front of some slop on the tv (currently re-watching Kitchen Nightmares) or having an afternoon yap session over some coffee! I'm a decent cook (a bit rusty recently) and although I usually prefer to eat alone, I wouldn't turn down the occasional group dinner or lunch. I have some sensory difficulties so I might not be your best pick for going out to clubs or big events, but I'd love to join you at the botanics or maybe a little day-trip to a café with a view :)

For housemate stuff: I've got a bit over 4 years of standard sharehouse experience and about 7 years of sharing a rental property with family, so I'm familiar with keeping chores in order and maintaining a respectful environment. I'm pretty tidy with common areas (also ran a cleaning business for 5 years), but I know that some days can be rougher than others, so I try to mindful of others' energy levels around this. I'd like to think I'm a good communicator, and I value having a space where I (and others) can choose to just have a quiet day. Ideally, I think the best fit for me would be a small-to-medium house with other queer folk and a pet or two, where paths can cross and hangouts can happen, but we can relax and do our own thing as needed.
