Lydia

I’m Lydia (she/they). I’m a writer and work 4-5 days a week in bookish jobs – for a speaker’s agency and in a bookshop – in Fitzroy and Brunswick. I’m excited to move close to shops and transport to have some more independence and explore more music venues, cafes, and pockets of nature.
I’m looking to find some more independence and make friends, so I’m equally happy with shared dinners and after work chats as I am reading on my own.
I’m passionate about children's literature, the environment and libraries (I'm a qualified library technician!) In my downtime I like playing cosy games, cruising around on my cargo bike (a Bakfiets, my pride and joy), and exploring op shops, bookshops, and libraries.
