James and Erin

Hi there! Erin and I are a couple moving from Perth, Western Australia to Hobart in early January 2026. We’re both full-time health professionals — Erin is a psychologist and I am a physiotherapist — and we’re excited for a change of scenery to Hobart to enjoy and explore Tassie’s stunning national parks and coastline. We’ll be bringing along our friendly 5-year-old dog (Lachie), who’s completely house trained, gentle with people and other dogs, and happiest snoozing on his bed near his family. When we’re not at work, we love getting outdoors — camping, hiking, and exploring beaches — and we’re always on the hunt for great coffee spots and wine bars so café and bar recommendations are very welcome! If you’re someone who can point us towards the local surf breaks and run clubs, that would be a lovely bonus as well 😄

We’re looking for a 2–3 month room rental while we find our feet in Hobart, but if it feels like the right fit, we’d definitely be open to a 12 month+ lease as we will be in Tassie for a few years.
