Hello! My name is Luthien, I use they/them pronouns, and I'm interested in finding a queer or at least LGBTQ+ friendly household and some cool folks for me and my two ratties to live with. I'm a fairy tail and folklore nerd who works as a professional artist for children's books and YA media. I'm super respectful and appreciate a good social-time personal-time balance and equal share in household upkeep. Love to poke around op-shops, always enjoy a board game or a bit of D&D, massive fan of LAIKA Studios and Ghibli films. Happy to hang out and chat, especially in the evenings, but will totally understand if you need your space! I work from home full-to-part time depending on my monthly inflow of work, but as my artwork is all digital, I can create a comfortable space in my room and won't require separate studio workspace, the only thing I require for work is decent internet! About my Rats: Clementine and Auspicious are both female and are kept VERY tidy. A common misconception about rats is that they're messy, dirty and smell foul, when the reality is, if they're not kept in hypoallergenic sanitary conditions, they will develop respiratory infections and may die- they are incredibly susceptible to illnesses from dust, mould and ammonia. They're meticulously cared for. On top of their regular cleaning schedule I do full wet dusting and carpet care once-or-twice a week in their immediate space, and run an ozone-free air purifier in the mornings to keep them healthy. They're kept sanitary, odour-free and happy. While they have daily out-of-cage time, I don't let them house-roam; I have a small collapsible pen for them to scuttle about in and explore recycled boxes and toys I make for them. I'm also very mindful of obvious animal boundaries and always keep them away from sanitary spaces like kitchens, tables, counter-tops, etc. I'm also really happy to live with other animals!

Hi my name is Stacey. I'm a single mum in my 40's. My kids live with their dad. I'm looking for a room to rent in Hobart and surrounding suburbs close to buses and easy access to my kids. Im a quiet, neat and easy going person. I love music, dance, art, philosophical discussions, card games and people. I'm good for a chat but respect personal space. I'm generally busy during the day and love reading or watching a movie at night (not a party all night person).

Hey there, I’m Georgina and I’ve moved from Launceston in March and my current accomodation is running out so I’m looking for a longer term rental to stay in. I’m easy going, down to earth and super respectful of privacy, but would also love to be able to get to know my future roommate and hang out sometimes. I’m currently working a 9-5. But on the weekends and if I’m feeling up to in the afternoons I love to catch up with friends and hang out

Heya! My name is Claire and i am currently looking to move into a new home. I love a house that feels like a home. The one i am currently in I have made amazing friends with my housemates and we spend most our time at home in the living room, laughing and having many cups of tea 😀 I am looking to move as I am at an age where Im wanting to buy my own home or live with just one other person (or two if there is room to move 🙂) just as i find myself wanting my own space more these days. Hello! My name is Moni :) I am looking for a room in a home that is clean, tidy and a pleasure to live in. I appreciate nature, cooking, hiking, creative practices, yoga, gardening and natural wine to name a few. Ideally I am looking for a home to live where I can connect with my housemates, grow a small amount of veges and herbs, set up my easle to paint and utilise the kitchen for lots of home cooking. I am in the middle of the intro-extrovert scale, social time is important to me and so is solitude. I work as a remedial massage therapist and travel for work at least once a month. Looking to move in around mid November. Please get in touch with me if you'd like to meet! 🌺

Would love to live in a social house where everyone gets along though I can enjoy time in solitude just as much. Please get in touch if you think I would be the right fit for you home. Hello! I have just moved to beautiful Hobart from Brisbane and am looking for a cozy room in a friendly sharehouse. I work in the activism/social justice space and am passionate about building local community and spending as much time as possible in nature. You will often find me catching a wave or two, sipping coffee by the beach, rock climbing or hiking in the forest. I am interested in a place anywhere in Hobart but ideally where it’s a quick hop over the bridge to the surf beaches. I’m on the lookout for a warm and welcoming share house, a place where I can call home. My work is usually quite busy so you will find me curled up with a good book in the evenings (on a sci-fi binge at the moment) or cooking up a delicious feast (exploring curries at the moment). I love a good yarn but also respect everyone's need for space. Bonus points if there is a little garden I can get my hands dirty in. I can contribute endless jars of home made lime pickle. If this sounds like a good fit feel free to drop me a line Good luck!

Hi I'm Ben! I'm currently living in Melbourne, but will be returning to Tasmania as soon as possible! At this stage, I'm planning to be available by the 9th of October. I'm studying full-time at the Conservatorium of Music. Music is my main passion, but I also enjoy martial arts, rollerblading and being outdoors. I'm very open minded and enjoy a good discussion about anything, as I am fascinated by the world and everything in it. I also enjoy cooking, especially with/for other people. I am social and collaborative, but respect boundaries and personal space. I don't make a lot of noise and am not much of a party person, but do enjoy celebrating triumphs, whether they be my own or of others. I am quite a tidy and relaxedly ordered person, I like to look after spaces so they can be enjoyed by everyone. At this point, I am flexible around when I can move in, and can provide rental and employment references.

i'm mid 20's, like to keep my hands busy with making things (woodwork) or listening to music. like creativity and am a bit of a homebody. I really value characteristics like open-mindedness and empathy - they're pretty important to me and also qualities i look for in friends. i've been in sharehouses for who knows how long, so i've got a good grounding in bills/cleanliness/boundaries and communication. i'm looking for a houses where i can get to know and live well with my housemates - because it'll help with adjusting to hobart. I know has their own stresses and things happening, i will too, but I also want to live with people who're good company. Currently in sunny ol' brisbane. I'm moving to hobart around the 15th of october (if covid permits), don't mind covering any rent or bills in the interim. I'll be working full time hours like a normie, no more bar/shift work for now. i'd be keen to do a zoom or call to just check that things'll be good / pseudo inspection. I'm super flexible, shoot me with any q's

Hi :) I'm a super clean and tidy, clean-living and green-inclined homie with stable income seeking a similar sounding space to create as home. I'm generally quiet in my home lifestyle but very open and chatty when the space suits to be. 😁 My lifestyle tends to involve cooking, good local vegetarian/vegan food, markets, dance, community connections, drawing/life modeling, kirtan/meditations, gardening, volunteering, and other creative dreamings 😊. I desire a *smoke and drug-free* sunny space (not too chic, not too shabby - rustic aok) where I can contribute my energy and create deliciousness in the kitchen, store some stuffs, maybe write and create some stuffs, and grow my own veggies :) I'm also doing my best eco-consciously, for living zero waste. I rarely drink alcohol - but do make my own ferments 😁 Ideally, a calm, self-contained space (or perhaps sharing with just 1 mature other would suit me best) I enjoy deep intelligent conversation and equally my own company 😊 Did I mention I like to cook and feed people? 😉 (I have worked and volunteered in community doing so) I adore all animals and am guardian to an absolute lovebug of a furry feline friend (rescued from a garbage bin over 4 years ago!) - in the most wildlife-protecting responsible way I can. For the love of fresh air, stars and energetic solitude, I crave a quiet, green space - preferably less than 30 mins to town - but am certainly open to options and ideas... I'm great to have around for security, garden maintenance, and pet feeding 😉😍😁 Please, let's talk 😊 Smiles, Sufiyo Rubyn
