Hi! We're Morgan and Erin, looking to move out in the next month or two. We're both in Uni at UTAS, Second and First years respectively, and are reasonably quiet, clean, chill people. We have our eyes on some specific places at the moment, so we're hoping to find a third person as soon as possible so we have a chance at getting them. Feel free to message us about your interest! :) (LGBT+ friendly) ($150 p/w each)
Creative type who likes cooking, writing, and composing music. Down to earth, easygoing. Reliable, always pays rent on time. Volunteer at art gallery. Likes 70s and 80s Marvel Comics, specifically X-men.
Looking for another couple or two singles to share a place with. Andrew is a super social extrovert, loves going out, bushwalking and meeting new people. Works casually, studies full time. I'm (Hannah) an introvert. I like quiet environments, curling up in the couch for a night in but still really enjoy being around people. Works full time. We have a fluffy ginger cat named Stewie. He's never had a problem with other animals, toilet trained, and rarely misbehaves.
Cameron knows how to live with other people. He is respectful of space and keeps up with his share of the household chores. I have come to know Cameron as someone who listens and acts upon other people’s needs. Oh and he is a fantastic gardener! He knows how to cook but leads a busy work and social life which means there won’t be many tines he will get in your way in the kitchen. If he had one flaw it would be that it takes a little to come out of his shell but once he is comfortable you will find good conversation with him. Daniel (Previous Landlord/Housemate) Happy to provide contact details for reference.
Hi, I'm a 30 y.o male who loves to cook! I also enjoy the occasional Netflix binge and philosophical conversations! I work full time and volunteer with an emergency service so I don't spend to much time at home! I love animals and would prefer to share with non smokers. I like to go to the gym and dislike mess but am not OTT about it!
I’m a person how enjoy to be around people. I’m a great cook and I respect privacy and personal times of every person. I’m emphatic and quiet funny sometimes.. also clean and organised. I love work but also enjoy my free time outdoors! I’m from Chile but I have living in Australia for 10 years. I love photography as well.
I'm looking for a room or people who would like to search for a rental together. I am a full time PhD student, and I work a casual job on weekends. I'm an active runner, bushwalker, and climber. I keep mostly to myself, but I don't mind a social house either. Ideally I'm looking for a place that is within a reasonable commute to Sandy Bay, either side of the river. Looking to pay no more than $160 per week, or $180 if bills are included.
Hi 😊 I’m a registered nurse looking for a place to live near the city. I love to travel, cook and spend time either bush walking or at the beach. I’m a friendly and easy going person, but also clean and considerate. Looking forward to meeting you!
I'm clean, friendly, reliable, come with excellent references and have a delightful and slightly quirky 17 year old kitty cat. I'm vegetarian, do yoga and meditation, appreciate a quiet home environment as much as a social one, and I'm a nurse - so I can tell you all the cool gross stories - or not...
I'm clean, quiet and can usually pass for an adult :) I've been sharing with the same group for several years. I like to cook and eat decent food, bake cakes and have a good chat. I like to garden and make things too if I get a chance. I'm not a party animal but I can handle a beer or two. I'm cool with animals and I don't smoke. I work primarily in IT and like being outdoors as much as in. I have a car but I prefer to get around by bike.
Hey there! I'm a 21 y/o cook looking for a new place to call home. I come with a very loving maltease shitzu named Gus who even happens to love cats, and obviously loves all the attention. If I'm not working I'll most likely be catching up on lost sleep, out with friends enjoying a beer, or getting a bit creative in the kitchen. Looking for a nice quiet and tidy house hold with respectful housemates. Happy to hang out and have a meal and drink together but also appreciate and enjoy my space and alone time. Looking for a place anytime from now till end of February. Happy to look at anything so hit me up if you may have anything for me! :)
I'm a quiet, friendly, considerate, and very respectful person. I'm tidy and pick up after myself all the time. I work full-time in Hobart CBD. I've lived in Tas over the last six years and lived with different types of people on different periods of time. I lived in Bellerive for the last one year but unfortunately the house I lived in is sold so now I'm looking for another place to live in.
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
I’m neat, tidy, respectful and honest. Also work hard but play harder ;) I’m also a gym junkie. I love running and cycling :)) Looking for nice and clean accommodation.
I'm Sarah and I'm 26. I have just accepted a full-time position under the THS and will be making the move from Melbourne to Hobart. I will be moving around the 3rd/4th of Feb, but can move in at a later date (my stuff can be stored for a while). I will be bringing my bedroom stuff with me and maybe a few other bits and bobs (some nice armchairs) I’ve lived in share houses before so understand the balance between needing interaction with your house pals and needing some me (and you) time. I want to come back everyday feeling like I've truly come home, so I’m keen for cooking together and having a few beers every now and then. I do like to go out to socialise but I am not keen on bringing the party back to the house. However, I am totally down for entertaining smaller groups. Dinner parties are always fun! Heads up: I like to live in a clean and tidy home. Ideally I'd like to live with people who get that, and are also wanting to maintain a good standard of ~so fresh and so clean~ throughout the house. I'm looking for a home with caring, compassionate and considerate house pals. Preferably others who have lived in share houses before and want to create a comfortable environment filled with ~good vibes~. I am very approachable and open to suggestions, so if something wasn’t working or what not I am extremely receptive to feedback and working toward making everyone comfortable in the house. As I won't know all that many people yet in Hobart, I am hoping my housemates will be keen to show me their favourite camping spots, hiking spots, beer spots, reading spots and whatever kind of spots you enjoy! Another thing to note is that I currently live with my partner and he won't be making the move to Hobart with me (at this stage) :'( !!! This means he will be staying for a weekend or so every 6ish weeks and I'll be gone for a weekend or so every 6ish weeks. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have a room! I won't be down in Hobart until the first weekend of Feb, so can only do in-person meet ups after that. But I am more than happy to start the conversation prior and can be available for skype meet ups :)
I'm currently studying my Master's at UTAS, have been living in Kingston since February 2017 but I'm looking for a new home away from home for 2018. Something a little more central would be ideal. I'm a pretty easy going guy, quiet, friendly, clean and respectful of others' space. When I'm not studying (which is most of the time) I enjoy music, watching films, playing sport and exercising (running/gym). I don't smoke or have any pets, 1 car which I am happy to street park where required. If you have anything available that you think I'd be suited to, flick me a message and we can organise something, cheers.
I am a down to earth, friendly, easy going and sociable person. I appreciate my quiet time and I will respect your privacy. I am tidy, and I have a steady source of income from my PhD funding. I have diverse hobbies which include amateur astronomy (you get to see my telescope!) and going to the gym to be fit and active. I generally keep to myself, but I do not mind the occasional dinner or two.
Hi, my name is Erin. I’m 26 years old and work as a nurse. My lease ends at the beginning of February and as my current housemates are going their separate ways, I am looking for a place to live. I like to socialise and be an active member of the household/house family, while at the same time remaining respectful of others’ privacy and needs. I am tidy, open and honest, love cooking and I enjoy the occasional glass of wine. In my current house we usually catch up for easygoing chats in the kitchen while we cook or simply laze about watching Netflix in our down time. My current sharehouse has been pretty amazing and (although I can’t replace my gorgeous housemates) I’m hoping to find another great place to live. I will be available to move at the start of February. I am able to provide good references and have my own transport. If you like the sound of me please don’t hesitate to get in contact!
I believe I have a decent sense of humor. Don't mind doing the dishes. Tidy up after myself. A little introverted so understand when someone needs space as I do myself. I'm a good listener, I am not a big drinker but I like to drink socially.
Hello, there! I’m a digital artist looking for a furnished room in a relaxed and tidy household close to Hobart. For the time being, I’m balancing a part-time office day job with freelance and personal projects. I consider myself a shocking introvert, but it’d be nice if my new housemates were people I could share a meal, a few drinks, and a games session with every now and then. I’ve lived in shared houses for three of the past five years, and alone for the other two. Long enough to get a decent idea of how to run a tight ship. I’m also someone who prefers routine, predictability, and clear expectations up front - we’re likely to get along if you’re open to rostered cleaning and such. I left my last home in Launceston after a job I moved up there for fell apart following a company merger. I’ve just been staying with family since then, but it’s way too far out of town for my liking. Work and fun are closely linked for me, but when I’m not drawing, I can be found nerding out on comics, animation, and games, catching up with mates in town for coffee or drinks, or showering love on cool doggos. Once I’m living closer to town, I may pick up some old outdoor hobbies. I have a fair bit of fancy digital art gear to shift when I do move, but I haven’t yet decided whether to set it up in a home office or in one of the coworking spaces in town. I’m probably leaning toward the latter - I think it’s good to have that separation between home and work. All that said, It’s hard to tell how much time I’ll be spending at home - let’s say I’m adaptable on that front. Speaking of doggos - if the property is suitable and you’re open to it, there’s a possibility I could bring one with me. He’s a happy docile short-haired border collie and may be the most affectionate animal on the planet. He gets along well with other dogs but might not be great with other kinds of pets. Hopefully that’s enough to get us started - fling me a message if you think we’ll get along :)
I (Madison) am currently a cleaner at a caravan park, a testament to my cleanliness. My boyfriend (Benjamin) is currently working two jobs at an IGA and a night job doing animal tours. We are both tidy people willing to do our part and earn our keep. we aren't a clingy couple so you WILL NOT have to put up with awkwardness like that. We do not care if you are LGBT+ and we won't judge. Neither of us has pets, however, we don't mind living with them. We can follow your house rules.
Hi, I'm Vash and I'm 22 years old. I'm moving from Brisbane to Hobart this year to study at the University of Tasmania. When I'm not working or at Uni, I love to exercise, read books, cook, or go out with friends. I'm outgoing and friendly, but I also enjoy my own space. I've lived in a share house before, I'm cleanly and considerate, and I think very easy to live with! :) Looking forward to the year ahead.
We are happy going couple with full time jobs. Most weekend we will be free doing activities like walking and camping around hobart. We are clean and tidy all the times as we have rented properties in our entire student life sharing with other people. Looking forward to meet awesome ppl... Cheers
I am a health professional making the big move down to Tassie in January 2018. I am tidy and respectful. I like to consider myself a relatively chilled person. I will be working full-time and like to spend my weekends doing a lot of outdoor activities (hiking, jogging, etc). I have previously lived in sharehouses and am respectful of others' privacy. From time to time, enjoy good quality banter and craft beers. Looking at starting a sharehouse or apartment in early Feb 2018, please feel free to message me if you are interested :)
I'm a conscientious and friendly person. I'm very clean and tidy too. I've lived in a lot of shared housing, so know how to cohabit in a peaceful and cooperative way. I love a good belly laugh and a good meal. I've recently moved down to Hobart to reconnect with good friends and to pursue some inspiring music projects... and, of course, Tasmania is very beautiful too! I look forward to settling into a new home. All the best, Mark
I’m a dance teacher from Melbourne relocating to Hobart to study my Masters of Clin Psych at UTAS. I’m moving into our new house in New Town at the end of March, however urgently need a room to live in from mid Feb. Anyone out there able to offer a short stay room? I can cook Japanese and not fussy with the tv remote. Absolutely love dogs, especially big breeds. Love a good chat & wine but also need to study so won’t be in your hair too much. Also keen to make a good group of friends in tassie 😊 Hope to hear from you, Emma
I'm generally pretty quiet, chilled but enjoy a good chat now and then. I am moving over from Perth, WA to finish my nursing degree in Hobart and to be closer to my family who live out in the sticks.. Love being outdoors and being physically active. Mountain bikes, running, hiking etc. Hence the appeal of Tasmania! Bit of a nerd.

Hello! My name is Rahul, I'm a 23 year old Urban Planning student currently studying at UTAS. I'm a quiet and tidy person that keeps to myself most of the time, though I'm happy to have some fun when appropriate. Please send a message my way if you think I may be suitable to join your home!
I'm relocating to Hobart from Melbourne in mid Jan 2018, I recently graduated and will be working full time. I'm a proactive person and I'm happy to share the load when it comes to general tasks like cleaning, dishes, washing. I like watching and playing sports. If Im home you will often find me streaming the NBA or playing something on my PC. I consider myself a relaxed, easygoing person and I'm happy to fit into a house that already has an established culture with existing housemates or happy to be part of a team up with others looking to settle in Hobart.
