Maya and Chris

Hi there!

Chris and I (Maya) are looking to move to Queensland for the upcoming tourism season! We've just come back from a year working and travelling in Canada and are super excited for the next adventure. We've house shared in several countries now, currently in beautiful Tasmania, love connecting with new people and appreciate being able to contribute to a respectful, clean, kind, safe space within our home.

I'm from Tassie and work as a chef/tour guide/bartender on a catamaran which leaves out of Hobart daily, and Chris is fresh to Aus from the UK and is working in hospitality and retail. We love adventuring in our spare time, love to cook (and eat!), love a good walk especially at dusk, listening to and creating music, love Kath and Kim, etc. Looking for a home, and we're flexible on how long we stay - 3ish months to start :) We are very low key, keep mostly to ourselves at home and are often out of the house either working or enjoying this amazing country.

We'd love to live with people we can consider friends. Huge plus if housemates are up for the odd adventure, pub crawl or games night! It's important to us to help create an easy going, warm and harmonious home environment :) We are both looking to get better at surfing too, and musicians/artists would be amazing to create with.
