I came out to Aus just over a month ago from the UK on a working holiday visa. I’m intending to stay in Melbourne for the majority of the time. I have been temping for the last few weeks but start a new job on 19th June (Mon-Fri 9-5) working as an event coordinator for a fun run in Melbourne in September. I’m 28 years old and like to socialise on weekends with/without flatmates. During the week though, I’m fairly quiet but maybe enjoy the odd meal out with friends. I also play netball every week and like to catch the odd AFL game on a weekend if I can!
I work full time in the CBD, I like to keep to myself but can be fairly social. I am easy going, chill and get along with most people. I am clean and respectful. Looking for my new home!
I'm 23 and working full time at a not for profit organisation. I'm a reliable and tidy person - I always clean up after myself and happy to chip in to do a share of household chores. I'm pretty easy going and friendly — I need some quiet down time alone but also up for group dinners or chats over tea or wine! In my free time I like reading and checking out art galleries and local exhibitions. Also recently got into yoga so if you can recommend a good yoga place nearby that would be nice :-) Not into living in an intense party house but looking for a chilled out place where I can have friends over etc.
Living with me is like a walk in the park, what I also like to do, btw: I'm friendly, open, loving to chat and having some deep conversations - requiring some me-time too; tidy and clean - personal and at home/kitchen; open for new experiences and adventures and respecting others privacy and personal likings... aka quirks, which we all have and which make us so unique and interesting. You see, getting along with me is a piece of cake, which I adore, btw.
Hi there! My name is Matthew and I am a young professional relocating from Adelaide to Melbourne to commence my post graduate studies and work. I'm a very friendly and respectful person which makes me fairly easy to get along with. I've got more than 5 years of share-housing experience under my belt so I am very familiar with the dynamics of sharing a space with others. I'm caring and considerate of others and I'm reliable and punctual with my payments. My past flatmates have all considered me to be quite neat as I look after my space and all that around me. Moving to a new big city some of the things I'm looking forward to most is meeting new people and exploring all the city has to offer; visiting bars & restaurants, seeing gigs, going to sporting events etc I live quite an active lifestyle in that I participate in a lot of outdoor activities ranging from rock climbing - snowboarding - soccer I'm sure there is lots that I have missed but if you wish to know anything more about me please don't hesitate to ask :)
I am a Technical Theatre and Stage Management Student in Melbourne to finish off my NIDA BFA Degree. I am usually in the Theatre from 9AM-11PM but always keen for weekend adventures as I am new to Melbourne! I'm flexible between cups of tea & coffee or a Friday night beer or cocktail to start off the weekend adventures!
I'm a kindergarten teacher. I'm looking for a home. I'm quite and respectful of other people's spaces. I'm also a yoga teacher and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. I'm looking for a self contained studio apartment or bungalow. Thank you
Hello, I moved from Queensland 3 years ago to study at the University of Melbourne, completing a Bachelor of Environments, Architecture. I work part-time at an architect firm and enjoy an active social, and healthy lifestyle. I do respect mine and others space by being clean and also tidy. I need a safe place to live with quiet time to study but also the company of housemates.
Advertising copywriter. Grey hair. Mature but modern. Straight. Neat, tidy. Like to cook. Looking to share with just one other - separate bathroom preferred. Excellent references.
Hey lads and ladettes. I'm Kassem, a 20 year old from Denmark. I will be studying Business and IT at RMIT City Campus for a semester, getting some of that good good aussie sun (even though i will be arriving in the middle of winter lol) This of course means i have to find somewhere to stay meanwhile. I'm not too picky about the location, but ideally somewhere within reasonable walking/biking distance. I'm pretty social, always providing top tier banter, and i'm surprisingly also a decent cook. I am very adventurous and pretty much up for anything you can hit me with. I'd like to live in a house/flatshare with other like minded, preferably also uni students in their 20's who would be up for hanging out, and/or do some exploring.
Hey, I'm China! I'm a creative, mature, tidy full time Fine Art student at RMIT. I grew up in the United States (have an american accent) and moved to Melbourne from Singapore for university earlier this year. I'm always up for an adventure, or exploring, and enjoy cooking with others. As my current lease is up and my flatmate's visa expires I am Currently seeking a friendly living space! (Preferably Female Only)
Hey! looking for a room in a house preferably with just one other person. Working full time professional (33) moved over from Perth late last year. Not after a party house at all though i do enjoy a few beers on weekends. Im fairly outgoing by nature but very respectful of others space. enjoy going to concerts & Afl footy matches on Sundays when i can. Looking to move in with someone of similar interests etc. Cheers🙂☘️
Hi there! I'm looking for a new home (long term) with some cool people in Fitzroy/Carlton/Parkville/Brunswik East area. A bit about myself: I'm 23 years old, originally from Russia, been living in Australia for 5 years. I really love to laugh at myself and love people who have good banter and don't take life tooo seriosly. I'm very open minded and love everything creative, arts, photography, good music, unusual movies etc. I'm pretty busy, but when I'm not pretty busy I love going to gigs/markets/doing crafts/eat cheese/drink wine/drink beer etc. I also enjoy talking about deep stuff like the universe, planets, power of mind and why we are here🌍:)) Workwise: I work full time in financial planning industry & planning to start my masters in a year. Can help you to become rich. Roomwise: I'm a big fan of natural light and plants. I can bring you the plants, but I don't have my own bed and wardrobe, so looking for something at least semi furnished. I'm not rushing to move out, just want to find likeminded people and a nice place!:) (somewhere in July-August would be great). Let me know if you have something suitable! If you need to stalk - insta: ulianakusik Thanks, Uliana
We are bestfriends of 14 years and have been thinking on moving in together when we got here in Melbourne. I am gay and she is straight. I am currently studying at uni as an international student in ACU and she's a PR working as a nurse near ACU so anything nearby is also ideal. We like to be tidy, and are very sensitive towards the needs and dynamics the people around us. We are considerate people as well, and we know that everyone likes to have their own privacy. We like to make a system out of everything to keep it all organised so you will have no issues in living with us. Shoot us a message if you think you have an offer. MOVE IN DATE: I wrote July but we are ready to move anytime.
Hi I'm Tom. I'm a Melbourne Uni masters student from the US. I'm Looking for a place fairly close to uni. I will be working part-time as well as studying full-time. I am hoping to find somewhere to stay for the next six months and would be willing to extend my stay as I am beginning a 2 year program. When I'm not busy I like to run, play basketball, travel, and watch Netflix. I also love American football so I will most likely be awake early Monday mornings to watch it. On the weekends I like to go out, but I also love a quiet night in.
Clean, orderly and reliable. Doing my last post graduate year in RMIT. Looking forward to have a quite place to study. A place of my preference would be one that is not a partyhouse. I would say a house with friendly, quiet, and relaxed atmosphere will suit my daily routine better. So if you are looking for a flatmate who is respectful, not a party animal kind of person, yet still fun to be around, just contact me! I'll be happy to hear from you :-D Preferably, I would like a flatmate who is similar to my age, cool and considerate. A student would be an ideal. *I am from Mauritius, fluent in French and and have lived in Melbourne for the past year *Scheduled to move out on the 12th July. * I am mostly interested in teaming up
Young at heart, easy to know and very flexible. I train people these days, mainly in the field of designing businesses or other enterprises. I love classical music, performance arts, walking, travel, and boats
My partner (Ben)26 and I (29) are both from Kent in England and been in Austrailia for just over a year. I've worked in retail for a number of years, but mainly been working in hospitality whilst we've been travelling and Ben is a carpenter. We're both outgoing and easy to get along with type of people, like to socialise, but at the same time enjoy chilling in front of the TV. We are tidy and considerate people, looking for similar housemates and a cosy place to live. Interests include: Adventuring/exploring, good films/programs, video games, skiing, good food, travelling, live music, etc
I´m Manuel, 33, and RMIT student, relaxed, friendly, clean, non-smoker. Normally pretty busy with work and study issues during the weeks but like to have a few beers over socalising with others every now and then. I respect others privacy and used to live in share houses. Feel free to get in touch if you have a room to offer
