Hey Im Charles. I’m 22 and working full time as an Account Executive for a software and digital marketing company. I’m making the move over from New Zealand to Aus for work hence why I'm now searching for a new home. I prefer a more quiet lifestyle at home. I don’t smoke or vape, but can enjoy the odd drink on occasion. I lean more on the introverted side but once I get more comfortable around people I usually become a bit more outgoing. For hobbies, I enjoy fitness, primarily going to the gym most days of the week so having a gym somewhat nearby would be preferred but not a must. I love watchin sports, good shows and movies, but I also enjoy anime and video games so I’m a bit nerdy in that sense haha

What makes me nice to live with?

I have a long history of shared living environments. I went to boarding school from the age of 12 til the end of high school. And I lived abroad for a year on a working holiday visa in Japan where I stayed in a share house with people from all over the world.

Im pretty easy going, the type of person who can get along well with people of all sorts. I am considerate of each persons space and privacy. Will always do my part when it comes to keeping spaces tidy, cleaning around the house and making sure our environment is looked after.

What am I looking for?

A space for myself where I can feel comfortable. One important thing to me is that my space and my privacy is respected. Also, despite being fairly young, I’m not big on partying and nightlife so I may not be a good fit for houses with a 'party culture'. Lastly, I’m not a clean freak by any means but I would expect that everyone does their part to keep the house to a reasonable standard and cleans up after themselves.

Overall I’m very open to all types of housemates, age, culture, gender, interests. As long as there is a healthy level of mutual respect, fair boundaries and clear communication, I believe we will get along just fine
