Omkar

Hi everyone! I’m Omkar, 22, and I’m moving over from Mumbai to start my master’s at UniMelb this coming March.

What I'm looking for: A room in a share house within walking distance (or a quick <15 min commute) to the Parkville campus. My budget is approx. $250/week bills inc (can be slightly higher if the place is right). I’m looking to move in mid-Feb 2026 for at least 6 months, ideally a year or two if it's the right fit!

A bit about me: I’m an easygoing person, slightly extroverted. I’m focused on learning, and I like to be neat. I’ll be studying and working part-time. I’m a drummer (don’t worry, I won't drum at home) and an ex-state-level badminton player, so I’m always up for a game. I don’t drink or smoke, but I don’t mind if others do. I’m a cat dad, but my cat will be in my home country (India) under my mom’s care.
