Xavier, Olivia and Robert

I’m posting on behalf of myself, my girlfriend (Olivia) and our other housemate, Robert. We’re looking for one or two people (couple) to team up with us to find a house to rent together and join the lease!

We have not yet secured a specific place, as we’d love to find the right people first and then look for somewhere that suits everyone’s needs and budget. We’re already applying for some 3-bedroom houses (Olivia and I share a room), which leaves a room free for one more person. We’re also open to 4-bedroom places if we find a great fit, or a couple!

A little about us:
- We’re all students who also work part-time, so we tend to have pretty busy lifestyles during the week.
- We’re easygoing, friendly and laid-back, and enjoy hanging out together when we’re all free, whether that’s having a chat, watching something together or just spending time around the house.
- We’d love to find someone who’s also happy to socialise, have a laugh and hang out occasionally, rather than everyone always keeping to themselves! At the same time, we all value our own space and respect each other’s privacy, so there’s absolutely no pressure to hang out all the time. We’re just hoping to find people we get along with and can create a comfortable, relaxed home with.

We also have Bella! A cute little Mini Fox Terrier joining us! She is very sweet and loves a cuddle. Hence, we will be looking for pet-friendly houses.

Budget 💰
We’re aiming for around $200–$250 per person per week, depending on the number of people and room sizes. Ideally, we’d be looking at houses around $700–$900 per week in total.

Preferred areas 📍
Indooroopilly, Taringa, Toowong, Kenmore, Chelmer, Graceville, Sherwood, Moorooka and surrounding suburbs.

We are somewhat flexible on move in date… +- a couple weeks of start of December.

We’re hoping to find someone who’s keen to find a place together, go on the lease and split the rent and bills fairly. We want somewhere that feels like home, where everyone gets along, respects each other and enjoys living together!
