tldr: 22, moving to brissy from Wagga in late Jan/early Feb to start full time work in the city (really looking for somewhere near good public transport routes). I’m after somewhere cruisy during the week and sport indulgent on weekend. (Middle of profile pic is me)
I’m a 22-year-old Buildings/Construction Engineer relocating to Brisbane from Wagga/Canberra and I’m looking for a room to rent from late January / early February (long-term preferred). I will be working on Anne Street so I'm out of the house from ~8am - 6pm during week days. I’m looking for a stable, well-located home where I can unwind and eventually wfh one day a week.
A bit about me:
- Quiet, respectful, and very routine-oriented
- I have lived in sharehouses for the past 3 years in Canberra while completing uni
- Non-smoker, non-weekday drinker, no vaping or drugs
- VERY passionate about my awful sporting alliances
- Clean and organised — I take pride in shared spaces
- Slightly competent cook and meal-prep regularly
- Out of the house most weekdays from ~8am to ~6pm with work commitments
- I have a WWVP check and Security Clearance, and can provide referees for previous housemates and friends if required.
Location & transport are essential:
- Ideally within 30 minutes (40 max) to Brisbane CBD with bus or train.
- But if in outer suburbs I strongly prefer close access to a train line
- I will have a car, so parking (street or off-street) would be greatly appreciated
What I’m looking for:
- Clean, respectful household
- Room in a share house or apartment
- Ideally 2–4 occupants total - early 20s preferred
Budget: $350 per week
I’m reliable, low-maintenance, and looking for a place I can genuinely treat as home whilst I'm not a corporate slave. Ill be in Thailand 4-18 Jan but can certainly find time to call.
Please feel free to message me if you think I’d be a good fit.
Peter
