I'm looking for a private room with ensuite / my own bathroom in Sydney for the period of early March to early May. I'm moving to Australia for work and need a place to call home for these first couple of months while I find my feet, discover the city and figure out my longer term accommodation :)

About me, I am a bit of a 30 year old going on 45 (some would even say 50). Happy to spend time with roommates but not in a party house atmosphere, I'm more of a cooking dinner together, planning a film marathon or hosting a board game night. I'm equally fine to chill on my own in my bedroom when we need our respective quiet time.

I have 7+ years experience of house sharing but have also been living on my own these past couple of years and I would like to find a good balance between the two : a place where I can still have tranquility and intimacy while being able to socialise and have a laugh.
