Rosie and Owen

Hi there,

We’re Rosie (24) and Owen (28), a friendly and easygoing couple from the UK, looking for a long term place to call home in Hobart.

Rosie is a from Lancashire, England and is a qualified teacher by trade but is currently working full-time in the high end events industry. She’s also a musician and is excited to get involved in the local music scene once settled.

Owen is a Welshman, but has lived in Manchester, England most of his life and has a varied work background, having worked everything from trade work, not for profit roles, and hospitality, including cellar door work in distilleries and breweries. He’s recently started getting involved with the local rugby team here, after a few years away from the game.

We’re both warm, social, and respectful of personal space. We genuinely enjoy living with others and have spent many years in shared homes, so we understand the importance of communication, cleanliness, and being considerate housemates.

We love cooking and baking, and we’re always happy to share a meal or a chat and we enjoy the social benefits of shared living- but we also appreciate everyone’s need for quiet time and independence.

We’re well travelled and made our way to Australia overland, and now we’re looking forward to settling down in Hobart for the long term and becoming part of a community.

We’d love to find a home with like minded people and create a relaxed, welcoming environment together.
