Lani and Ben

Hi, my name is Lani, and I am a responsible, tidy, and considerate tenant looking for a place for my partner and I to call home.

I am currently working full-time as a Prep Teacher Aide while studying a Bachelor of Primary Education full-time, with plans to graduate in mid-2027. I am passionate about education and enjoy being part of a supportive school environment.

I will be living with my long-term partner, Ben, who is a full-time teacher. We have lived together for the past four years and have enjoyed building a stable home together. For the past two years, we have shared our current rental with an additional housemate and have had a positive rental experience. We are now looking forward to finding a place of our own where we can settle in together and create a home for the next stage of our lives.

We also share our home with our very introverted indoor cat, Leelo. She is fully litter trained, well cared for, and has always been an indoor cat. Her favourite hobbies include sleeping in her bed, hiding in cupboards, and taking long naps on the couch. She has absolutely no interest in the outdoors or strenuous exercise, and is happiest staying inside. We like to joke that she promises she’d make a great tenant too - quiet, clean, and asleep for most of the day!

We have taken pride in maintaining our current home and would bring the same level of care and respect to any property we are fortunate enough to call home. We are both quiet, respectful, and considerate tenants who value a clean, organised, and comfortable living environment.

Outside of work and study, I enjoy spending time at home cooking and baking, going for walks, and catching up with friends and family over coffee. Ben enjoys surfing and staying active through regular gym sessions. We both appreciate a calm home environment where we can relax and spend quality time together.

We are reliable tenants who understand the importance of paying rent on time, caring for the property, and maintaining open communication with our landlord or property manager. We can both provide references for our past tenancies.

We are hoping to find a home where we can settle in for the longer term and would love the opportunity to provide a respectful and dependable tenancy.
