Hi, I’m Bambi. I’m a quiet, respectful single woman looking for a private interim home in Sydney or surrounds.

I’m mainly seeking a self-contained studio, granny flat, bedsit, private ensuite room or similar setup where I have my own bathroom/toilet. A private kitchenette would be ideal. I’m not looking for a standard share-house bedroom with shared bathroom facilities.

I’m clean, non-smoking, reliable, and on a stable pension income. I spend much of my week on independent writing/archive work from home, so I’m looking for a calm private space that suits a low-key lifestyle.

My main housing need is enough sensory quiet and separation from internal human-generated noise. Traffic, planes, birds and general city/background noise are usually fine. The difficult sounds for me are things like TVs/voices through walls, footsteps or thudding from above, slamming doors, noisy shared areas, kitchen sounds from other people nearby, children playing directly outside the window, regular ball-game sounds such as basketball bouncing, or nearby ongoing renovation/construction.

Places with solid/robust construction such as double brick, concrete, carpeted floors, or good separation from neighbouring rooms/shared areas are especially worth contacting me about. I’m trying to find somewhere with enough buffer from communal kitchens, busy shared areas, family backyard activity, or heavy neighbour noise. Lightweight structures very close to family/backyard activity or shared areas are less likely to suit.

A good fit would be self-contained or mostly independent, with my own bathroom, a calm adult environment, no party house, and reasonable internal sound separation. Small/simple is okay. I don’t need luxury — I’m looking for somewhere peaceful, private, safe and practical while I work on longer-term housing options.

Preferred stay is around 3 months initially, with the possibility to extend if the space is a good fit. I’m also open to shorter fixed stays of 6+ weeks for the right self-contained, calm place.
