Hi! We’re a German-Slovak couple, 25 and 24, moving to Brisbane on a Working Holiday Visa in October. We’re planning to work in Brisbane for several months while exploring Australia in our free time.
I’m a recently graduated doctor from Germany and will initially be looking for work in construction or a similar hands-on job. My girlfriend is from Slovakia and plans to work in hospitality or a similar field.
We’re both friendly, responsible and easy-going. At home, we like things clean, tidy and relaxed. We enjoy being social and getting to know the people we live with, but we also appreciate having our own space and definitely aren’t looking for a party house.
Outside of work we enjoy travelling, going to the gym, sports, dancing, cooking and exploring new places. I also love photography and anything hands-on/DIY.
We’re looking for a comfortable furnished room or place that we can call home during our time in Brisbane. 😊
