I'm a 25-year-old guy from Mexico, moving to Melbourne to study and work part-time. I'm a chef by background, so I love cooking, trying new food and, of course, keeping the kitchen clean after I use it. I also enjoy meal prepping and experimenting with different recipes at home.
Outside of cooking, I'm pretty active and outdoorsy; I enjoy hiking, climbing and running, but I'm equally happy staying in with a good book, video games, music or a board game. Board games are definitely my thing, so I'm always up for a game night or a few drinks with roommates.
I'm also a bit of a food and drink nerd, so I'd be very happy to share a cheese night, try a new restaurant, explore Melbourne's food scene or have a wine tasting at home.
I'm clean, respectful of shared spaces and pretty easygoing. I'm hoping to find a place with people who are friendly and enjoy having a social household, while also respecting each other's space and routines.
I'm planning to stay in Melbourne for at least a year, but I'd ideally like a flexible arrangement initially. I'd be looking for a minimum of around 3 months, which should give everyone enough time to see if we're a good fit before deciding on something longer.
