Hey, I’m Anar 👋

I’m moving to Melbourne from Mongolia in January 2027 to start my Master’s at the University of Melbourne, and I’m looking for a place from **1 January 2027** for around **6–12 months**.

I thought I’d start looking around early and get a feel for the rental market and what’s out there at the moment. Ideally, I’d love somewhere within walking distance of the Parkville campus, with a budget of around **$400–500 per week**.
Either a studio or a private room with a private bathroom.

A little about me: I’m pretty easygoing, clean and respectful of shared spaces. During the week I’ll be at uni for most of the day, so I’m generally quiet in the evenings, but I’m definitely not opposed to a chat, dinner or a drink when everyone’s around. I enjoy cooking, I’m more than happy to make a Mongolian dinner 🇲🇳

I’d actually love to live with people who have pets, especially cats or dogs. I’m very happy to help out with them when needed too 🐶🐱

I’m the kind of person who cleans up after myself without needing to be asked. I’m happy in either a social house where people actually hang out together or a quieter place where everyone does their own thing. For me, the main thing is having considerate, respectful flatmates and a home that feels comfortable.
