Hey! I'm moving to Sydney in early Sept. Looking for a clean, tidy, social but quiet house no further than 45 minutes from Sydney Olympic Park. I love watching sports and am into everything from cricket to motor racing (although as a West Aussie I must say rugby is a foreign concept to me). I'm happy for a chat and shared dinner, a good Netflix doco, but appreciate a safe house that's not into parties or lots of people coming and going. Life happens and I understand washing left on the line or a few dishes in the sink but I dread the vision of a full bin just being continually squished down instead of taken out. Hello, I am a single 38 year old female who is looking for my first rental property. I have lived in my family home with my Mother and Uncle up until this point and now I am requiring some extra privacy and independence. I am currently on the disability support pension which provides me with a fortnightly payment of $1019. Previously, I worked as a professional career nanny and childcare worker for over 15 years. I still occasionally do casual work for various families who used to employ me. (My pension allows for me to work a certain number of hours per week before being affected.) As a disability pensioner, I am able to access a number of programs to assist in successful independent living. The Rentstart Bond Loan is an upfront interest-free loan to cover a rental bond. To assist my weekly rental payment I am offered a rental assistance payment and a rental subsidy payment which will automatically cover a portion of my total weekly rent. There is also a program called Bond Extra which gives landlords extra money to cover for any potential rental arrears. This is an incentive for them to offer a lease to clients who are having difficulty securing a tenancy in the private market. Fortunately, there are several other subsidies I am able to utilise (annual water rebate, annual gas rebate and the rebate for electricity). I receive a lot of support from my mother and my God mother. They are eager for me to have my own rental property for personal independence and responsibility. They are my support system and willing to assist me with anything if needed. I am eager to find a residence in the vicinity of Ryde (West Ryde, North Ryde, Medowbank, Gladesville) as it is where I grew up, went to high school. I am familiar with the area I know it well, find it easy to travel around/know where everything is- as well as just genuinely loving the suburb overall! I am quiet, clean, friendly, a homebody. I enjoy yoga, pilates, theatre, ballet, history and art. I am very keen for someone to offer me the opportunity to establish my very first rental property. I own a cat, her name is Catalina. I rescued her after she was abandoned by her previous owner nearby to where I live. I've had her for close to 12 months now. She's been vaccinated, medicated againt worms, fleas, ticks etc, I feed her the best quality food I can afford and keep her inside at all times. Several different vets have given me an estimate on her age to be about 3-5 years old. She is only 2.5 kg. She has a very sweet, loveable, quiet nature. She is a bit timid and gets scared easily. She doesn't climb on furniture or get into mischief and is not as agile as other cats (the vets say she may have had an accident before she came into my care). She just enjoys having a safe, quiet home where she sleeps most of the time and likes receiving lots of love, regular food and water and occasional treats. She has never had any toileting accidents and has always used her kitty litter box. I'm vigilant in maintaining hygiene so I scoop and dispose of any waste twice a day. She is desexed. She is a domestic short haired breed with a calico colouring (a mix of white orange and black). She has been the light in my life since my 17 year old sausage dog sadly passed away last year.
