Location is fantastic, where uber's to the city cost about $7 and also within walking distance to Villi's 24 hour bakery for all your late night cravings. Multiple bus stops nearby, as well as park, chemist, bottle shop, coles, etc etc. The house itself house a decent sized back yard equipped with BBQ, air conditioning, garage, whilst the room itself comes with a wee chest of drawers. There is an en-suite bathroom in one of the taken rooms so the current one, including a bath, will have to be shared between two but I'm hardly ever in there.
I'm kind, considerate and clean. I've lived in a sharehouse for the past 3-4 years and so am well versed in sharehouse etiquette and finding a happy balance between being a social house-family and getting some solo R&R. I keep active, enjoy rock climbing, trips to the beach, cycling to/from work, and other kinds of outdoorsy activities. I'm a working musician - I play folk/blues on guitar and vocals and gig almost every weekend. As well as this, I work in a music store and teach piano and guitar. I keep very busy with these things, and so even when not at my day job I like to stay focused building my music career. I'm currently booked until May which hopefully eases any concerns that you'll have a tone-deaf hopeful amongst you ;) I absolutely love animals but am highly allergic to cats, so any homes with those are firmly non-doable.
Hi my husband and I are looking for a place to call home in Adelaide. We have been here 3 months but now looking to make our stay more perminant. I am working full time at Ashford Hospital and my husband is working part time at a bar whilts he is looking for work on the railway. This could be out of state so it is a possibility it might be just me there most of the time. We are looking to live with a couple of other people max in a home enviroment with other working proffesionals. We love going out exploring and often spend weekends away but also enjoy cooking and chilling with a glass of wine and a film. Now Adelaide is going to be our home we want to build up freindships, so we'd like to live with people that we have things in common with (must like a game of monopoly ;))
Looking for a place to call Home. Hey there, I'm quiet, easy going bloke, student of Civil Engineering at Tafe (Tonsley) so ideally I'd be interested in a place around that area, and not too far from the city as I work in a Cafe in the city. I'd prefer living with people in their 20's that I can socialize with, I'm generally pretty busy studying and working, not home much but I do like to socialize with my housemates on my free time, have a couple beers, go out and I'm also a dog person if you got a dog it's a bonus. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
I'm an enthusiast for all kinds of knowledge mainly focused on arts and computer sciences. Moved to Adelaide 6 months to work as a frontend web developer for a small start-up focused on the charity space. Passionate about physical computing and audiovisual interactive arts. I'm friendly, calm, easy-going, travelled and experienced but still a dreamer. Love to travel and challenge myself. Previously travelling on a 18 month trip halfway around the world. Have a lifetime worth of stories to share.
- Male, late twenties - Work full time as a surveyor - Down to earth, respectful and easy to get along with - Like to keep things neat and tidy - Interests include the outdoors/nature, camping, hiking, music, sport - Enjoy a casual drink, good food/coffee and being social but at the same time enjoy time to myself and chilling out!
I am a Dutchman and from July I will be studying in Adelaide for six months. So I'm going to follow a number of courses at UniSA, but I'm mainly coming to Adelaide to see more of the world and meet new people. For this I'm looking for a nice home base, preferably as close to the city as possible, where there is enough space to do many things. Now in the Netherlands I live in a house with eleven other students, where we often drink a beer together and do a lot of activities with each other. Because we have a large living room, we often invite other people who live elsewhere in the city. This often leads to a lot of spontaneous activities, which have produced many unforgettable moments. This is not necessarily a requirement for me in a new student residence and I am certainly open to everything that comes my way. It does, however, give an idea of how I currently experience my student days and that I am mainly looking for meeting new people, whether or not in my new home.
Hey everyone, Looking to join a share-house with easy going people. Preferably Inner-SouthWest, something along the Westside Bikeway (Camden Park to Mile End) would be ideal, but I'm open to nearby options. I am a Project Manager in the imported gourmet Food industry - basically your great food and wine are actually my job ;-) I have great history with sharing accomodation, both agencies and privates, and references available including from my current flatmates. I have lots of interests: food (it's for work!), cycling, road-trips and anything you can do outdoors, rock climbing, photography, music, 4x4, camping, fishing but also movies, reading (I'm a news junkie), new technologies, the random nerdy stuff... and more. When I'm home, if I'm not doing some work-related email catching-up or watching idiot clips on instagram, I'm open to socialising during dinner or a glass of wine if that's the type of house, otherwise I respect other peoples' spaces and quiet times. I'm a non-smoker, mostly health/fitness minded, social but respectful person. Details aside, just feel free to contact me and we'll see how we go from there. Cheers! Some random facts: - I have saved thousands of marine turtles in Mexico; - I'm Italian but I don't like soccer; - I do cook amazing food, I'd love a foodies' house! - (Apart from Italian) I speak Spanish, and it'd be great to practice my French :) - Eventually in a few years I want to quit everything, buy a sailing boat and go places. PS: lastly, I'm not in a rush to move so I'm ok to plan things. The only reason why I want to change is that my current place can get a bit noisy at night, and I'm a bit of a light sleeper.
We're quiet, respectful and enjoy socialising, but also our own time. We're both very clean and tidy, so you don't have to worry about a dirty kitchen or messy bedroom. We love to read, binge watch Netflix and spend time outdoors, usually hiking. Liam is a fitness fanatic, and enjoys calisthenics and maintaining an active lifestyle. I'm working part-time and studying Business online through TafeSA. Liam is also studying online. We also come with a small and adorable Maltese Shih Tzu named Luna, who is de-sexed, micro-chipped and toilet-trained. She's super cuddly and fluffy, not unlike a teddy bear, and loves people. She'll gladly curl up next to you on the couch and quietly keep you company, or join you for a walk if you're feeling active. I love to cook, and when possible, will happily prepare a healthy, (vegan), dinner for everyone. I also love plants and gardening, and Liam is very handy around the house. We'd prefer to live with non-smokers, and people who don't consume alcohol on a too regular basis. However, we are social, and enjoy dinners, board games, and coffee! We have our own bedroom furnishings, artwork, plants and furniture for the house, which we'd gladly bring along, or pop into storage if need be. Feel free to send me a message if you believe we'd get along, and enjoy a clean, relaxed, respectful and happy household!
Hi we have 1 or 2 rooms for rent to 1 or 2 students. We are located 4 km from the city in a safe quiet suburb and there is easy public transport. Either bus, train or tram. The beach is about 15 minutes away, we have a pool and the house is air conditioned. The rooms are large enough for a queen size bed, desk, chair, lounge and they have inbuilt wardrobes. There is plenty of room for storage. The house has 5 bedrooms, lounge, living, dining, very large kitchen and fast internet.
Hi we have 1 or 2 rooms for rent to 1 or 2 students for short or long term stay. I have two sons and two daughters, my sons live with me now, they are 26 and 13, my daughters are married and no longer live at home. The house has 5 bedrooms, lounge, living, dining, very large kitchen and fast internet.
Unfurnished private room (4.1x3.3m) in a 2 bedroom single fronted cottage located in the city fringe suburb of Forestville. Shared bathroom/kitchen/common living area (Remainder of the house is fully furnished). Offstreet parking available. House is located a short walk from Forestville Tram Stop (600m) and Goodwood Railway Station (450m). 1km Walk to Goodwood Road where you'll find the local pub (Goodwood Hotel), restaurants, bars and the Capri Theatre. 4km drive from Adelaide CBD. $180 p/w including unlimited internet. Quarterly split bills (water/gas/electricity). Dog friendly property as I already have 1 friendly indoor/outdoor dog on the premises (Unfortunately he is not cat friendly). Yard is fully enclosed with large grass area and storage shed. Undercover entertaining area complete with fairy lights and outdoor setting.
Great location on the city outer suburbs. Walking distance from bus, tram and train stops. Great old house with big rooms and high ceilings. Big back yard. No air con, but the house is old and has thick walls so doesn't get too hot.
Ten minutes from CBD, close to public transport (buses) Close to shopping centre. Large room with shelving and aircon. I would prefer to live with someone studying and working or working full time. I have a super friendly dog so I would prefer someone who likes animals and dogs not someone who's tolerable with them as I'd like to know he's going to be safe while I'm at work. Cleaning shared spaces regularly is a must. (Vacuuming/mopping floors/cleaning bathroom) I don't want to live with someone who just thinks maintaining their own space in a shared home is acceptable. But besides that I'm pretty relaxed on things. Internet is available for $30 a month it's unlimited and all other bills are split equally aswell.
I have recently purchased a 2 bedroom flat in Wayville, and am looking for someone to stay in the second bedroom. Wayville is a buzzing area- close to tram, bus, City, supermarket and thriving area of Goodwood full of cafes.
I am studying education, working in a school. I am easy going, like to read, have a good chat, cook, and garden.
I work 3 jobs, i spend a lot of the time at the gym, I have all furnishings that’d be needed for a new place. I’m very clean, love cooking, love gardening. I have 2 cats both indoor. My lease finishes in August, looking to find a new place to share with a few people or one person to help split up some of the bill costs.
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged, have some interesting pastimes, and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit regularly however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. I have recently enrolled at uni (online). I am LGBTQI friendly and keep my nose out of other people's business. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. I'm looking for long term accommodation however never say never. Please note I am not looking for share house accommodation.
I usually spend most of the time in uni. I like to come into peaceful house at the end of tje day. I dont party much but i definitely like watching a movie withe housemates once in a while. I like to keep my space tidy and clean. I love coffee and i like people who share the love coffee :)
I am quiet, professional, neat, tidy, organised, easy going, well mannered and approachable. I work in IT industry as a consultant. I have interests in property and property development as well as share options.
Studying and have my own part time work reselling vintage garments online. I’ve been living out of home since a young age so I know how to clean up after myself and be respectful of others in a shared space. I don’t have visitors much, very occasionally, if I do it’s just for a sleepover. I spend my free time in the gym, riding my bike, skating, going out occasionally, reading, working on my clothes shop and making techno/house music (don’t worry about the noise it’s on my laptop and headphones) A lot of my time is at home but I like to keep busy. I’m very easy to get along with, I’d be keen to hang out with my housemates if you’d like too. I enjoy a good movie with a drink and cooking at home.
