Recently moved back from a government role in Canberra and currently seeking a granny flat close to the city as possible. I have furniture in storage or can leave it there so am flexible in this regard. Started new job in the city however will be doing FIFO to site at Weipa for a good portion of the coming months. I work in Information Management for mining and engineering companies or government, am quiet, respectful and clean. Would get an apartment however I really don't need a huge space at this point in time and for the foreseeable future.
*More photos to come* City views. Great for watching Riverfire or Ekka fireworks. You can see the city from the kitchen sink even. 320 and 306 buses to the city leave from the driveway. Albion Train Station is just 1km away. Very convenient for transport. Your room will have its own built-in cupboards with mirrors, as well as an ensuite bathroom and shower. Laundry is internal and in the main bathroom. I have a front loader washing machine. The complex has hills hoist washing lines and I also have a clothes hanger for internal drying. The main rooms are air-conditioned though the bedrooms are not.
I'm very clean and quite. Respectful of others space. I like to be sociable but also enjoy my own time. Love watching movies etc going for breakfast and gym. My cats name is Memphis and he is also very clean and house trained. He's 14yrs so most of his time he is sleeping lol. I'm a hairdresser so on my days off I like to chill
I'm an easy going person, clean and tidy. I'm quiet but also up for a social chat or drink. I'm a full time uni student studying at QUT and working part time at kmart and recently moved to the area. Excited to meet some new housemates.
Hey I'm Aaron, a 23 year old creative designer that's working full time in Brisbane. Currently living on the Gold Coast, I'm looking for a place around Brisbane that's convenient for work and socialising on weekends. I'm a pretty relaxed, no stress, clean and tidy kinda guy who understands the need for personal space but also doesn't mind a good chat or quality hang time with friends. I spend most of my weekdays at work making things to look pretty on the computer. Weekends you'll catch me playing sports, mountain biking, jet-skiing, hanging with friends or even back on the computer catching up on all my favourite TV shows. I get along well with females and would prefer to live with them, although this isn't a deal breaker. Being fresh into the Brisbane scene, it'd be nice living with housemates that embark on the occasional excursion out of the house. Otherwise, general cleanliness without being a total OCD control freak would be great!
Full time IT worker in the city. Like sports and video games. Normally keep to myself but I do not mind having a chat and socializing. Main thing I am looking for is a place close to the train station and air-con.
Hey! My names Amelia, I'm a 23 year old student studying a Bachelor of Education. I work part time and do some volunteering for nonprofit organisations . I'm a energetic and fun, but I also appreciate the quiet times. I enjoy making music and watching and playing sport. Ideally I'm looking to move into a room with people at a similar stage of life as me. Ladies in the early/mid 20s who are studying or working and are sociable. My max rent is $140 a week, either including or excusing bills and I'm preferably on the Northside towards the city. I'd like to initially have a 6months lease with a probability of staying longer. Look forward to hearing from you :) Millie.
Right in the heart of Albion just off Sandgate Rd. this unit comes fully furnished in a modern style. A small walk to trains ,buses and the Albion Hotel. A new Gym has opened up on sandgate a very small walk, across from the pub. sorry no pets. unless it is a fish, snake or an imp.
Lovely spacious old queenslander up for rent :) Nothing fancy but house is cosy, tidy & your flatmates are friendly & considerate. IMPORTANT- looking for a short term housemate 1-5 months starting beginning of April. Could possibly be longer but can't guarantee that with a periodic lease. Cheap rent though for location & size of room :) The room is a good size & veey punk (see pic)The house has multiple sunrooms & two living rooms so plenty of space to chill out. Bills are included in rent, unlimited WIFI & the house is super close to the train station ( 2 stops to CBD). Great for anyone that catches public transport but also multiple off street parking spots. Walking distance to BWS, McDonalds & heaps of restaurants. Room is unfurnished but rest of the house has plenty :) Massive yard for those that like to garden. Bond is 2 weeks rent- & you won't need to go on the lease unless you would like to be an approved occupant. Current housemate moves out the 24-31st of this month (march) so that is when the room is available :)
Hey my names Emma, I'm 20 and have lived by myself since I was 17. Proving to become too expensive for what I want to do, I've decided to move out into a share house or get a flat mate. I am clean and quiet, I work 5 days a week so I am out of the house from 8-5 everyday, and then at gym until 8 most nights or out on the weekends with my partner. I don't ask for much but I do like my space, I also love a good chat, but I cherish my alone time as you can tell I don't get much. I don't have many people over and if I would, it would be my boyfriend on the weekend and maybe a weeknight here and there, or a couple friends every now and then. I do have a cat named Cleopatra, true to her name she's a diva, so she does what she likes mostly and that is being outside during the day, and coming in to eat and sleep at night lol. She's fully toilet trained, flea treated often and very beautifully natured. Don't be afraid to send me through a message if this interests you :)
Hey everyone, I'm looking for a smoker-friendly double room on the north or west side of brisbane, but still on the north side of the river. Preferably within half an hour from the city on public transport. My budget is $140 a fortnight or $180 including bills. About me: I'm Tash, 19yo from Brisbane and studying full-time in Milton completing my year 11 and 12. In my spare time I enjoy sketching, puzzles, reading, and being in nature, as well as going out occasionally on the weekends. I've been staying with friends for a while in a sharehouse and am wanting a more relaxed environment that's also stable, so living with 4 or less other people would be ideal. I need my space sometimes, (especially in the mornings before my coffee) but I'm easygoing and happy to be social otherwise. I also clean up after myself, and am respectful of other people's lifestyles, so I hope to find a house that is the same. Feel free to message me with any questions you have :)
I am a trustworthy, honest and caring guy who loves catching up with friends and making new ones. I always pay my bills and rent on time and in full with no worries. I love cleaning - strange I know but I find it very therapeutic. I also like cooking, walking and singing and dancing. I am currently a student studying Dip of Remedial Massage and as I don't drive, I rely on public transport.

The back deck. The picture speaks for itself. The location is great - close to everything including the city! Public transport of all kinds is easily accessible. Close to several shopping districts. Living areas are air conditioned - but the home is beautifully breezy with one big hallway from the front to the back door. Rooms are spacious, lovely and bright or close the curtain and its night! Have just renewed the lease and in need of some new house mates :) A couple would be great! But 2 singles would be just as good! Pet friendly and the yard is fully fenced! Come and have a look!! Looking forward to meeting you, don't hesitate - first in best dressed! Cheers!
Looking for a sharehouse close to the city, yet still peaceful and quiet! Dont mind male housemates as long as there are also female ones. My ideal situation is a house that feels like community, with everyone having a chat and getting along well. I have a very cute Maltese x Bichon Frise dog called Molly who is coming to live with me also, so allowing pets is a must. At the moment I study Cert III in Business Administration full-time, but I would like to find work in Brisbane as well. I am an easy going, clean, respectful, friendly and social person. I love hanging out with friends, and shopping, eating out at cafes etc but I also love to relax and watch movies, or read a nice book. Looking to move out ASAP, and no worries about bond I can cover it. Would need a place close to public transport too.
