I'm a 22 year old uni student, going into my final year of journalism and public relations. I'm a super friendly person and am always up for a chat but am super respectful of the other people I live with and also need my own privacy. I'm working casually at typo and also volunteer reading the news at 4ZZZ, hoping to get my own show this year! Because of this I'm looking to live anywhere between Kelvin Grove and Chermside(suburbs listed but anywhere else near the northern busway is fine) I'm a pretty social person but am not into going out all the time or having parties, though I do occasionally like to have friends over for pres or just a couple of drinks. Because I'm in my final year of uni I'm looking for somewhere to live for at least this year, and definitely need to live with people who will respect that I need my space and time for study as well. I'm a very clean person, always clean up after myself and often find myself doing other people's dishes just cause they're there. Usually will clean the entire house when I'm doing my own room. I'm experienced in sharehousing from small to large numbers, prefer to live with larger numbers but don't mind smaller places. I don't have any pets, but am more than happy to live with animals.
Hey future house mate/'s, I'm 28 and work full time in Emergency Services for the QLD Government. I'm currently transfering back to Brisbane in late January after spending 3 years in North Queensland. I am a very social guy, always happy for a chat, to lend an ear or just to chill and watch some TV. Having shared before I completely understand when people need there own space and the need for reliability and most importantly cleanliness. Unfortunately, due to the job I do work shift work, this doesn't mean I'm a zombie 24/7 and leave at odd hours (12 hour shifts usually 6am -6pm - vice versa), far from that, but does mean that I sleep until midday two days per week... pretty much like 70% of Uni students. If you think I would be a good fit in your house don't be shy message me!

The room has built in floor to floor cupboards, its own bathroom with shower/bath, ceiling fan and is carpeted. Brisbane born and raised full time worker In my early 20s and have lived out of home since I was 18 so I'm not new to the housemate game I work full time at Suncorp Insurance Tuesday - Saturday so you won't see much of me during the days but always keen to have some beer and banter at the end of one! I love cooking massive meals so if 'family' dinner nights are your thing that's fine by me. I can also tell when people need their space so don't feel like I'm going to be hanging around 24/7 Looking for a nice modern place with some relaxed people. Happy to pay extra for the best room in the house! Feel free to message me

Hey guys! I'm Tahlia! I'm currently living in a share house on the north side of Brisbane but I'd love to move out and get closer to the city. I'm looking for a housemate that's probably between the ages of 21 and 25. I'm 21. I'm a very quiet and reserved person but I love to have a laugh. I'm a neat and tidy person, I like having a clean house but my bedroom does tend to get a bit messy, I do a clean on weekends when I'm not working. On one hand I'm quite the hermit, I'll happily sit at home and do a Netflix Marathon all day but on the other hand I love to be outside and exploring new places or going to the beach. I'm a non smoker and rare drinker, I don't like to party and I go to bed early. I'm a musician and a beginner pole dancer. I love food, books, photography and videography and if there's an animal around, there's a 100% chance I'll talk to it rather than any humans nearby. I have a pet - you'll need to be open minded because she's a rat. I know I know, a rat definitely wasn't my first choice of pet either but she was so darn cute I couldn't resist! She IS strictly an outside pet though but she comes inside for cuddles. I also have a gorgeous cat called Turtle who lives with my parents - I would love to bring her up to live with me if it's at all possible but it depends on the living situation. I need to move into a place where I can put my car under cover or in a shed and I have a jewellers bench that I also need to put somewhere - a shed is ideal for that too. I would prefer to be able to spread out my belongings throughout a house as I have too many things to keep in one bedroom. I would love to live much closer to the city, 15 minutes or under would be amazing. Travelling to work from where I live now is getting super expensive! I'd also prefer to move in with just one person. If we team up, I would prefer that we find a 3 bedroom place so that my parents, and friends, have a place to stay when they visit from NSW. I ask that my new roommate doesn't smoke please! If i sound like someone you would like to live with, feel free to contact me and we can meet up for coffee and chat sometime!
I'm a professional 32 year old female who comes with a friendly black lab. She's an outside dog who's well behaved so I need at least a small space for her with some undercover area. I'm looking to move down from the Sunshine Coast in approx. a months time. Hoping to find something with friendly house mates. I have my own friends around Brisbane but I don't mind being social with those I live with too. I'm always busy, working, training at gym and going out and I'll probably be heading to the beach a lot of weekends. I'm tidy, easy going and considerate. I don't smoke but I don't mind if roomies do. I am happy to live with people in their early 20's to late 30's. I have my own bedroom furniture which I would prefer to use.
All my friends are now married, so I'm seeking to share a unit/townhouse with one other person. Preferably two bathrooms and a carpark (although a place with ample street parking is also fine) - these are not a prerequisite however. Looking anywhere Brisbane Inner North (I have listed many example suburb options but not further North than Chermside). Looking to move now, as I have had to extend my lease a further two weeks to Feb 1st. I work at Eagle Farm so closer to there is ideal. I have all the gear required to setup a place (indoor/outdoor furniture, TV, kitchen stuff etc etc), so if you have a place for rent that is already kitted out (or nowhere for me to store) chances are it might be tough for us to manage. Unfortunately it seems many of the rooms listed for rent are also already kitted out. I have storage options available for some of my items but not all, so perhaps something could be negotiated there. Happy to meet up this week to discuss teamup possibilities and gauge suitability. My work is understanding with me needing to find a place to rent so anytime can be arranged. I work as a logistics manager for an IT company have just completed two degrees (Diploma of Graphic Design / Bachelor of Communication Design) in the past 2.5 years. Weekends I like to go to the beach / hiking / visiting friends. I would like to find someone who is open to the possibility doing a bit of meal sharing because I enjoy cooking for others more than myself and I appreciate that communal aspect of it. I like to have a couple of hours later in the weeknight evenings to myself to work on projects / wind down. Flexible with leasing options but would rather something 6months+ Cheers!
My name is Elly Vickere, i'm super laid back, I have two dogs and we're looking for a home! I'm interested in a team up, or to enter into a share house. I'm a bartender and am about to start studying a bachelor of writing at QUT kelvin grove. I go to the gym every day and the dogs and I enjoy a good morning walk daily. I'm very tidy, I clean up after myself and the dogs. I'm quiet and respectful also. I'm looking for a long term stay and I'm looking to move within the fortnight. Send me a message and let me know if we can start something or join your team!
Hey I'm Katie! :) looking at moving from my apartment at portside as my landlord is moving back. My last day there is the 13th February but can move out sooner. I work at the airport and also have a company car so need parking space. I spend a lot of my time at work and enjoy my weekend in the sun or away at the coasts.
My friend Dan and I are looking to team-up for a 3 or 4 bedroom place somewhere in the inner-city on the northside. Although we're pretty flexible on location. I'm a full time engineering and IT student at UQ and I also work part-time in Spring Hill/CBD. Dan and I live together already and he works part-time at an Aldi store. I have a 1 yr old black labrador called Indy. She's still very puppy like but doesn't get up to much trouble any more. We can fully furnish the new place so if you only have things to fill your bedroom that's fine with us. We also have a netflix to share on a 4k TV if that's your jam. We're looking to stay in a house with a yard ideally with floorboards to help keep things clean. Let us know if you're interested or have any other questions!
Hi All - My two current flatmates are packing up and heading o/s, hence why I must start the Flatmate search again! I am an easy going gal in my early 30's. I currently work for an airline, so I do shift work. Due to this I would ideally be looking at a 2 bed/2 bath situation. Or if not doable taking the Ensuited room not to wake anyone up when I get up at ridiculous times in the morning to slap on make up for work! I currently live in Newstead/Bowen Hills area. I am open to moving, but would tend to like to stay similar or northside suburbs. Would love to keep a Pool to cool off in Summer, some air con would be lush but isn't a must (would take just ceiling fans). Due to the shift work, you may not see me at times. I am quite social, so do like to get along with who I live with, catch up over some wine and dinner. But also love downtime just chilling. On days off I try and hit the coast as much as possible too! I'm getting in early - looks like I'll be needing to move March time. So if you have something or would like to look together - please get in touch xx
Hi there, I am a 22 year old female (turning 23). I have completed all my studies and now working full time in teaching (primary). I am respectful, clean and easy going. Love the occasional wine and socialise but also like my downtime as well. I live what I like to think an active and healthy lifestyle. I am looking for like minded people. Ideally, I'm looking at places that are more on the modern/newer side and my own bathroom. My current lease is due to run out on March 16th but may find someone to fill my current room earlier. If you think I'll be interested in your listing or would like to team up, please feel free to contact me. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. Annie
Charming five bedroom Queenslander in Albion with bags of character. Close to train station, bus stops and great cafes. The ground floor of the house is inhabited by one person with the remaining four bedrooms on the upper level. The room available is on the upper level and shares a bathroom with three others. Room available is 4x4m with high ceilings and polished floors, easily fits a queen bed and other essentials. There is no air conditioning or ceiling fan in the room but there is air conditioning in the living area/ kitchen. The room will be unfurnished apart from a wardrobe. Our lease has been ongoing for several years and we have a good relationship with the owner. Everyone within the house gets along well and there really is a bit of a family feel. We've seen several great people come and go over the years and we're now looking for someone new to join the fam. We have a great deck with views of the city which we often enjoy having a drink or two on afternoons.
Hi I'm Phi, I'm 24, studying and starting my own businesses & work casually. I'm a social introvert, who is career orientated but likes to have fun. I have a small lap dog who is desexed and house trained that I'd like to move in with me, but if not my parents are willing to keep her on their property. Jayden is a full time student, he too is a social introvert. Very friendly, tidy and is career orientated but knows how to have fun. We would like to move into the same house together, but are looking for two separate rooms.
Hi, Looking for 2 new housemates or a couple to rent with :) There are 2 rooms available, the smaller pink room (still easilly fits a queen size bed) is $150 &; the larger room is $165 for a single or $200 for a couple. Both rooms are available now. ALL BILLS INCLUDED IN RENT :) The house is super close to Albion train station which is 2 stops to Central. Walking distance to subway, BWS, McDonalds & other shops. The house is a big breezey queenslander with HEAPS of storage space, the entire house is furnished including whitegoods except for the bedrooms. May be able to lend you a spare futon if you need time to get furniture though. There's lots of room for space to yourself besides your bedroom including a large living room, 2 sunrooms & 2 enclosed veranda/breezeway spaces. Plenty of space for extra furniture too. I don't think these photos do the house any justice at all- my camera is broken so I can't take updated ones but its looking a lot nicer with furnishings than in the pictures above! Sorry about that. Must be cat friendly & conscious of keeping them indoors only please. If you have pets then please let me know :) The yard is large but only partly fenced. Looking for housemates ideally working/studying, aged between 20-40 & couples are fine too. I'm 25 , work full time & am a friendly/ clean housemate who mainly keeps to myself but happy to cook/ socialise together if you like from time to time. I want like minded people who will keep the house relaxed but look after it as well, & who can pay their bills on time. Definitely not a party house but friends/ family are always welcome. Lease is until end of May currently, short term stays are also welcome. Hope to hear from you soon :)
We have had the same lease since 2014 because this sharehouse is awesome. A beautiful house in a great location. Close to everything yet still with a suburban feel. Train and bus are within 5 minutes walk, Cafés, shops and gym within 10 minutes walk. Fully ducted air-conditioning. The room on offer is approx. 3mx3.8m. Comes either furnished with a bed, shelves, clothes rack and wardrobe or unfurnished (no cost difference). There is a great balcony adjoining the room with a table setting outside - perfect for a morning coffee or sunset drink. The house is a 4 bed / 3 bath newly renovated Queenslander in Albion and is fully furnished (but if you want to hang onto your furniture this shouldn’t be a problem). It has a versatile garage which can be used for almost anything. Two lounges and a small yard with a clothes line. A cleaner comes once every fortnight and the yard is maintained by the owner free of charge.
Hi, I'm Phoebe, I'm 19 and I'm a room attendant in the city and I do bartending on the weekends so I'm pretty busy. When I'm not working, I like to relax at home with my little Ragdoll kitten who is well trained and super cuddly. I'd like to have a few friends over here and there but I'm always fairly quiet. I'm tidy, reliable with rent and respectful of my housemates privacy. I'm looking for someone alike to move in with who is relaxed and easy to get along with. Let me know if you're interested. Phoebe :)
I'm Jack, a mature 25 year-old studying Quantity Surveying at QUT. I have a FT cadetship at a firm on Eagle Street in the City. I enjoy cooking, watching films of all genres, listening to music, and having a decent conversation over a neat scotch or wine. My other interests include architecture, art, photography, and board games - which I have an extensive collection! As a housemate: I am exceptionally clean, mindful of noise and neighbours. I have a cat, 'Squiggles'. She is very low maintenance but does require a garden / courtyard. She is super sweet and gets along with anyone after meeting them. I have plenty of household furniture. Feel free to drop me a message if you think I'm a good fit. I have a flexible move date but an generally looking to get up and settled by mid- to late-January. - Jack
