My name is Grant. I am a 48year old. I am a fairly quiet & reserved type of person. I am friendly & respectful of others but I do tend to keep to myself. I am neat and tidy, and I do clean up after myself. I work full time in South Brisbane. I don't drink, I don't smoke and I don't party or do drugs of any kind. I am fairly fit because I do a lot of walking and skating (roller & skateboard). I try and get to the skating rink at least twice a week.......more if I am able :) BTW I am gay if that matters at all. I am looking for a studio, granny flat or one bedroom flat preferably within 10kms of the city with easy access to public transport (train & bus). I don't have any furniture so a furnished place would be nice. I would also need internet (preferably wifi) because I spend a lot of time online. Air-conditioning is nice as well. The last couple of places that I have rented have had everything (power, wifi etc.) included in the rent & even though it probably costs a little more I don't mind cause it's easier. If you have a place that you think would suit me then please don't hesitate to contact me.
Trying to get my priorities right, one of which includes moving closer to the northside so I can enjoy a few more extra minutes of sleep - because everyone knows that a nurse enjoys that head to pillow-shut-eye time. I'll happily raise my hand and admit that I am a happy little extrovert, because I love meeting new people and have been sharing and caring since I was ten. Just to elaborate on that a bit, I was at boarding school, then did a bit of backpacking, decided I wanted to use my head again which involved living on campus at college whilst at uni and well now I am here in a share house looking to share again. Don't fret though I know the classic signs and symptoms of someone that needs their own space and will happily oblige. I try and make the most of my days off and am always up for an adventure, whether that is a market trip, off for some vitamin D and sea, trying to complete a 1000 piece puzzle or discovering funky new nooks and crannies to eat, drink or watch movies at. If you have any questions just type away. (ps there are 2 of us so looking for two rooms, pls)
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, going home to visit family and photographing. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Would love to find a home with some relaxed, friendly, good-humoured housemates. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
I work at Bunnings while studying a Bachelor of Business/Behavioral Science at QUT and to answer your question, yes I get discounted snags. Loyal supporter of alcohol consumption and good times.
Hey, My names Talisha or Tee as most people call me. I am looking for a place to rent with 1 other person (sorry i would rather not share with a couple). Ideally with my own bathroom. About me; I am 20 (21 at the beginning of next year) I work full time in the city as a Property Manager. I am clean and tidy, i am pretty out-going and am always up for a chat - bonus to you i am NEVER home between my friends and work. My move in date is flexiable. Feel free to message me any questions.
I am considerate of other people, no noise before 8:30 am or after 9:30 pm when I use my headphones,... I enjoy cleaning and respect other people's property. I am honest and reliable with bills and am a dedicated classical/jazz pianist/guitarist and composer. I do huge concerts for worthy causes, and love sci fi and am writing a novel. I'm not up myself and enjoy a laugh and love people.
2 rooms available in a beautiful house located conveniently closely to most of what you’ll need. The rooms are available as the 2 previous housemates are going on exchange overseas whereby we’ll quite dearly miss this house. The house is located in Alderley and is approximately 12 minutes away from the CBD without traffic. There is easy access to bus route 345 from a stop 8 minutes walking away which gives you access to QUT Kelvin Grove and the city with awesome frequency. There is a McDonalds 5 minutes walking away – which is excellent for when you’re feeling unhealthy. The main shops (Reading Newmarket) are a 5 minute drive away (& also accessible by bus) and include things like Coles, awesome coffee, Subway, Nandos, Grill’d, really great Sushi and AusPost. If you don’t have a car you’ll be just fine here – everything is very accessible. The house itself is very new, very pretty and modern. There’s ducted A/C and awesome open plan living. There’s an excellent entertaining area out the front, a decent one out the back and a garage (which is currently used for storage). Additionally, there's a shed out the back which isn't used. Upstairs there's a great study area and the rooms themselves are large and accomodating. If you're worried about costs, we’re on gas for hot water and cooking (much cheaper) and have an excellent solar system which means we haven't had an electricity bill in our tenure!
Our house is an old Queenslander with a lot of character. We have a checkered kitchen floor, an open plan lounge and a bright and breezy front balcony and back sunroom. We have a fluffy white middle-aged ragdoll cat who loves to laze in the sun and is friendly to those who feed her tuna (haha). The room is a decent size with a wooden floor. Peaceful and tranquil, situated away from the other bedrooms, next to our garden. The house is situated in walking distance from public transport; 5 minutes walk to any buses or trains to and from the city. Transport to Brisbane city takes around 20 minutes maximum. As of early next year a new Coles store is opening at the bottom of our street- a 2 minute walk.
Hi potential roomates! Im Jess and looking for a room to rent around the Everton park area (and surrounding) i have lived in share houses before but decided to move to Bundaberg for a year to be closer to family, however time to move back to the city! Im easy going! And love to be social but at the same time respect the need for people to have their own space and time (myself included) ideally if i could find a furnished room that would be a bonus! :) Im currently in Bali at the moment teaching english but will be returning to Brisbane on the 18th of December, and am able to move in ASAP. Thanks.
Looking for someone to join our home in Alderley! Our secure townhouse is situated on the back of the block and is part of a complex of only four. It is extremely conveniently located- within walking distance of the Alderley train station (300m), regular buses, shops, & restaurants, and only an 8 minute drive to QUT Kelvin Grove! Spacious unfurnished bedroom includes: * Large built in mirror wardrobe * Air conditioning (great for summer!) * Ceiling fan The house is modern in appearance, with a large kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and new electrical appliances. It also features a laundry, living & dining area, and outdoor patio. Communal areas are fully furnished. Our street is quiet with plenty of parking available, and the neighbours are friendly! You'd be sharing with two other kind & respectful ladies, both working professionals. Rent is $160 per week (excluding bills), fast unlimited internet $20/month, and bond is $640. Please do not hesitate to contact Tianna with any questions
I'm looking for either one Or two people to team up with and find a great place! Ideally somewhere nice and small like a townhouse but open to anything. I'm not fussed about male or female either. I have lived in shared houses before so am very tidy and considerate of others. Ideally I am looking to team up with someone who is fun and loves a good chin wag but can also respect personal space. I work during the week and most weekends but do love to have a few drinks here and there when I have the time off. I also have a cat, so you must be good with cats :) If I sound like someone you would want to team up with shoot me a messaging. I'm aiming to have a place by the end of December/January
Can move in asap with two weeks rent upfront. (and bond if needed) I'm easy going and clean up after myself. Studying science at QUT. I enjoy adventuring outdoors, movies of the sci-fi variety and anything of an artistic nature.
I'm fairly quiet and a considerate housemate. I have lived with lots of different housemates and moved more times than I care to remember. So I'm very adaptable. I like my own space to just relax but I also enjoy having someone around to have a chat. Certainly enjoy the occasional Friday night wine and getting out of the house on a weekend. Definitely don't party too much anymore but I'm always up for a fun social activity. I like to cook meals during the week and try to eat relatively healthy. Always cook too much so would love a housemate to share a family meal with a few nights a week. Work full time Monday to Friday in Enoggera so looking to stay in the area nearby. During the week I like to keep fit and have sporting commitments 3 to 4 nights a week so would be out most of the time. Would prefer a room not too small with a good sized wardrobe, a little bit of storage sapce and my own bathroom or ensuite would be amazing, but honestly I'm pretty easy so not too picky.
"She's sweet. Funny, open. A really pleasant roommate." - Jemima, 2014* "Witty banter for days. Mostly at her own expense." - Arnold, 2013* "Looks like it's going to rain. Better bring your washing in" - Mum, 2016* *All quotes are true, names have been changed, but the people are real, although they may or may not have said these things loosely during off the record conversations. Happy to pay up to $250 dollar bills a week for: A private room of my own in a nice relatively new or renovated place with a yard/area appropriate for playing fetch. Ideally, I'd prefer my own bathroom. Happy to share a bathroom if it's with one other clean person. Sorry, but this gal is too old to share a bathroom with 2+ people or a house with 4+:) Learn a bit more about me below. And, ya know, hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan, this is(n't) Stan. What makes me great to live with? Well... I rinse out the chux when I've finished cleaning the dishes that I haven't left sitting on the sink for 1+ days. I love cooking for others and sitting down to a nice meal with glass of red. Sometimes the glass of red is the nice meal. Don't judge. I believe pretty firmly that garlic bread is life. Don't worry, I'm not a total slob-kebob. I meal prep, eat relatively clean and go to the gym in the hopes that someday I will have that #summerbod everyone keeps going on about. Plus it supposedly prolongs life. Fun fact: I'm a decent human who understands the concept of personal space so won't go looking through your room/things. Funner fact: This is probably because I'm too lazy and would much rather watch Netflix. Funniest fact: Funner isn't a word. Saving the best bit for last - I have a sidekick by the name of Duke Nukem; a nearly 2 yr old teeny 3kg mini fox x pinscher rescue pup who is a ball of energy one moment and passed out the next. He's quiet, but has barked at the wind (or ghosts) once or twice. He can also hop 3-4 feet in the air, generally because he's curious to see what's on your dinner plate on the table. He means well and I'm sure you'll love him nearly as much as he'll love you. We're a rad pair looking for equally, if not more so, rad people to make a home with in the new year. I know I said 2016 was gonna be my year, but I've got a reeeeeally good feeling about 2017. What makes you so great to live with? Well... I'm hoping you're a positive / emotionally stable person, who prides yourself on paying bills before they're due, are kind and laid back 90% of the time, are down for a good laugh and great conversation, and if you eat my food you really mean it when you say you'll replace it. Bonus points if you've got a pooch of your own who is open to making a new puppy pal. If ever you're out of town, I'm happy to feed and love the little puppa, and I hope if ever I'm out of town, you'll do the same :)

Hi there, My name is Amanda and i am looking to find people to sign a lease on a property with. I am looking at 2 or 3 bedroom places in most parts of inner Brisbane. I have a small dog called Indie too. She is a black and white Beagle x Cocker Spaniel that is super chilled and loves all people. I have all the furniture for the house including couch, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, outdoor furniture and all pots and pans and things so you would only need your bedroom stuffs to move in. I would need a place with a courtyard or outdoor yard for my dog so i would be looking at either townhouses or houses mostly. I would like the house to have 2 bathrooms and aircon is a must. I work full time as a Personal Assistant and do Yoga and Dance on a few of the week nights so this takes up most of my time during the week and i am only rarely in the house to eat, sleep, and a little bit of TV. On my weekends i like to get outside with the dog and friends and love my red wine and good eats. Not much of a party animal anymore. I don't smoke and don't do drugs. If this sounds like you please be in contact and we can chat about future living arrangements. Looking to move into a place end of December/early January 2017. Amanda
