Internet & utilities are all set up (internet is $35 each per month; utilities varies each quarter). New renter will have their own bathroom (en-suite is used by me though), and access to the secure off site parking space. Unit has a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer & has air con. The apartment is located in a secure complex, has 2 balconies, a spacious kitchen with a dishwasher, aircon in the lounge. The apartment is pretty shaded and gets a nice breeze. The bedroom is next to the main bathroom which you will have exclusive use of so it’s basically like an ensuite. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the train and close to bus stops. Coles is a five minute walk away. There is always heaps of street parking. Internet is available, it is $60 per month so we would just split it. Bills are on top of rent - we only really get an electricity bill. Flexible with move in date.
Hi! I am a Primary School Teacher looking to move into the Alderley/Newmarket/Windsor area. I am a cheerful, fun-loving and respectful person who is know to be the 'clean one'! I love singing, music and cooking. I enjoy a good chill and a few beverages on the weekends! **unfortunately air-conditioning in the room is a must!
Hey there potential housemates, I'm Will, 26, currently working two jobs and undertaking my real estate registration certificate. I hope to attain a job in the real estate industry as early as possible next year, and considering studying part time alongside that. I'd like to think I'm responsible, respectful and clean, and understanding of other people's needs and privacy. I'm always keen for a chat at the end of the day or making food with housemates every now and then. Basically a genuine and inclusive environment is great, and everything else would fall into place. In my spare time I like to go to the gym or do some type of exercise each day (only started recently to be fair haha), watch football (English Premier League), read real estate development books (I know, very boring to the average person haha) and trying new coffee shops or new foods at the markets. Anyway, if you have any more questions or would be interested in discussing anything, don't hesitate to message me :) Will.
** PLEASE DON'T SEND US YOUR LISTINGS, ONLY LOOKING FOR A FLATMATE & PLEASE DISREGARD PROPERTY PREFERENCES - ALL INFO IS BELOW** Hey fellas, Emily and myself (Clare), are looking for someone to jump on a lease with us when ours runs out on 20/01/2019. We want someone who is likeminded to join us in the search for a new place!! We have all the essential furniture to fill a house except for your bedroom, but are more than happy for you to bring anything you may have too. We have internet already which will be an additional $20 a month for unlimited adsl. I need my own onsuite so i will be paying the most, and Emily is happy to negotiate as to who gets the possible garage/larger room etc out of the other 2, and you both will be sharing a bathroom. Rent will be roughly around $130-140, next person at $140 and Clare at roughly $160 a week. I work full time and Emily works part time. We are out of the house a fair bit but love having dinner together and/or hanging out at night time. We're heaps of fun and want someone to be our friend who we can chat to and hang out with, whilst also completely respecting your privacy whenever you want it. We're tidy & clean but not strict and are happy to pick up after each other where needed. If you are interested in moving in with us and helping us pick our next home please contact me via messages and I will get back to you if we think you're a potential match! xxx
Energetic, intelligent and I love to clean! I hate cooking so will always happily clean up. I am considerate and quiet but love music and playing music at nearly all times!
Working professional, and pretty quiet during the week. In my free time and on weekends I'm generally out and about seeing friends, brunching, yoga/pilates, hiking, markets. I'm tidy and respectful and value my down time but I also think it's important to have a good friendship with the people/person you are sharing a home with. I own a couch, washing machine and a cherished moroccan rug I bought in Morocco recently! Also have the kitchen essentials pretty much covered. Ideally I would like to find someone like-minded to team up with and find a place of our own. I'm hoping to move January and looking to stay around the inner northern suburbs. Reach out if you want to catch up and see if we would be a good fit.
Hey! I'm Alex, I'm an outgoing, creative 21 year old. Currently working and studying Creative Industries at QUT. In my spare time I'm a photographer and visual artist. I love all things music and enjoy going to gigs. LOVE the outdoors and am constantly heading to the sunny coast on my days off. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. I am preferably looking for someone who enjoys actually spending time with their roommates ie. having some cheeky wines/ beers and the odd uno game or dinner night. I am clean, tidy and respectful of other peoples personal space as well as property and expect the same in return. A little more about me, I'm a bit of a morning person, love plants, cooking and keeping active 🌴 More keen on finding good house mates than the perfect house, so i'm quite flexible on suburbs
Just putting some feelers out for rooms available end of January 2019. I'm a single female professional who works full time in the city so preferably looking for somewhere walking distance to public transportation. I'm pretty easy going, quiet and respectful. I have an adult cat, Reggie, who is happy being either indoors or outdoor depending on the property.
Hey potential housemates, I'm Carmody, clearly. Some fun facts about myself, I get genuinely excited about organizing, planning, and cleaning. I have a love for food, the environment, music, and dry humor. I enjoy engaging in household activities, but I also love some me time. If you enjoy seeing questionable twists to vegetarian dishes and dry jokes with no solid punchline then I'm your gal. stay groovy :)
Hey, I'm a 25 year old civil engineer, moving to Brisbane from Perth with a 2 year old kelpie x husky. I'm big into sports, mainly soccer and basketball but could really get around anything. Looking for a place with similar aged housemates who don't mind going out on weekends and socialising.
I am a Canadian travelling to Australia on a working holiday visa beginning in January. I currently work as an auto mechanic, but I have previously worked and studied culinary arts in a high end restaurant. My hope is to return to this career path during my stay in Brisbane, and wouldn’t mind cooking dinner every now and again to show off my skills. I don’t smoke, and I am a relatively clean and organized person. I tend to fit well in any kind of social group so I’m easy to get along with. Overall I just try to have fun and just enjoy my time, as well as my time with others as much as I can, and try to get the most out of life, and hopefully this matches with a potential flatmate looking to take me in on my long term holiday!
I'm a keep to myself type of guy. Happy to have a chat and sit around and chill. I dont party hard or go clubbing every night. I have steady income and am also a student.
Hey, we are a young couple looking for some like-minded chill people to rent a house with. we have been together for about 3 years, we don't party, or smoke. we are into living a healthy lifestyle and training. Megan is studying nursing and psychology and works as a Barista (the coffee is the best in Brisbane!!). Cleaning up after yourself is a must, but we don't mind doing someone else's dishes as long as it goes both ways. :) we are looking to create a friendly, considerate and comfortable home environment. We understand that living with a couple might not be ideal for some, but we can assure we are very normal, calm people who value courtesy and respect. We are quite busy people with work and studying, so we aren't around that much. We are looking for a moderately big house with 4 bedrooms with open living, a great kitchen and several bathrooms. Zach is starting a PT business from home so will need garage space. we are looking to get a dog in the future, so we also welcome any dogs. We are currently inspecting places and will hopefully move out in December. Cheers, Megan and Zach
I would normally give a little more effort towards these 'meet and greet' things but I have recently bought a new car and my current apartment does not have off street parking, so with the impending holidays, I'm hoping to move asap. If you have any questions or want to have a chat, please hmu :)
