    Bailee

    $270/week20 year old woman

hi, my name is bailee and unfortunately i’m sleeping rough at the moment. i lost my place of residence due to health issues that has lead me to being unable to work while i heal and recover. i am just trying to find a place to call home. i would much prefer to live independently, on my own but am open to share houses as a last resort. i am seeking peace, so that is what i will bring to any environment that i am living in. it will just be me living in the place i end up in, which i will bring a whole lot of love into. i am very accommodating and down to earth, ensuring that i will always be respectful of the original home owner and their wishes, with the understanding that it is their home first and i am just paying to stay there so i must also live by their standards. i will also always be considerate of my surrounding neighbours and such, doing what i can to maintain peace and harmony throughout the environment. i live a very quiet life, i’m not the type to throw big house parties, make lots of mess or invite any form of chaos into my space. i will always ensure that the environment i am living in is maintained and secure. i will cherish any home i find myself in as that is all i am wishing for. i’ve never lived alone but i have always dreamed of doing so, and i will be doing exactly that once i find my home. unfortunately my circumstances are a bit rough as i am couch surfing, so this isn’t exactly how i planned for my independent living to begin but it’s a start nonetheless. i hope to hear from you, have a beautiful day. thank you, bailee.

    Alok

    $220/week28 year old man

A quiet, respectful and considerate man balancing two jobs (lawyer- full time and retail- evenings). My personality type leans into wanting to stay as busy and productive as possible so I’ll rarely be home as my schedule is quite demanding. On occasions where I do have some spare time, I love indulging in my passions which include art, music, occasionally flying (still learning!) and horse riding. I lean towards being an introvert, and tend to enjoy a quiet environment vs a party house; but always happy to have those housemate kitchen chats (I spend alot of time in the kitchen on my days off as I meal-prep all my food!) and share a beverage/stream a movie on a night off. I am very mindful of health, and so I’m quite into fitness and leading a physically and mentally positive lifestyle. I’m incredibly curious about all things to do with personal development as I navigate through life wanting to be the best possible person I can be. Past housemates have described me as incredibly clean, quiet and respectful. I’m ever mindful of privacy, keeping shared spaces clean, and the general courtesy and common sense needed to maintain a harmonious and stress free living environment; I’ve been fortunate to have had some awesome shared accommodation arrangements in the past and I’m more than happy to provide contact details for excellent referees to confirm that. Lastly, I understand one of the most stressful aspects of having housemates is the share of financial and communal responsibilities, so I’ll always have my rent transfers automatically scheduled, I’m ever-mindful of my resource consumption (elec/gas etc), and absolutely happy to pull my weight when it comes to helping out with chores/cleaning etc.
